Let me just start by saying these are gorgeous. Worn both ways they will turn heads, which I love in a shoe. Unfortunately, the sizing was just a touch off. I'm naturally a 7 1/4, so I can wear 7s in some shoes and 7 1/2s in others. In the Sorel Tivoli I wear a 7 1/2. I ordered the 7 1/2s in these beautiful rain boots, and I could have worn them just fine but never with socks or liners, they would have been too small. Also, due to the cut of the under-shoe (the leather cuff is removable) the edge rubbed my ankle bone in just the wrong spot. I've got plenty of heels that aren't perfectly comfortable, but in a rain boot, and in a Sorel, I expect a perfect fit. Especially for this price. So, back they went, sadly. They are gorgeous, and if they were less, I'd absolutely suffer through the ankle rub!

I bought these in the 8.5 which were to big. Got the size 8's and then noticed the left foot is looser than the right! Upon closer inspection noticed a huge difference in the quality of the suede. One boot is darker than the other and thinner around the ankle. I would say a quality control issue with Sorel. I don't mind a slightly different color but it should not affect the entire sizing of the boot. May try one more time with a size 8 if they both fit like the right foot did. If you buy these take a close look at the fit and quality of both boots.

I am very happy with these boots. They remind me of my Army boots after they were well broken in. I've owned them for about a month. Pros: So comfortable; look great. Cons: little bit of heal rubbing.
