I have been wearing the Mizuno Wave Rider exclusively sinc 1998, and I am very disappointed in the Wave Rider 17. I have run multiple marathons in these and have never had a problem until this morning when I went for my normal daily 5K run for the first time in my new Wave Rider 17s after retiring my Wave Rider 16s. I could feel something weird on the inside of the left shoe, and I said to myself that I will just use some masking tape to tape it after my run. At the end of the run, I looked down at my foot, and blood was seeping through. I don't know if it is a problem with this one shoe or with this design in general, but it has certainly made me question my 16-year loyalty to Mizunos. I never write reviews, but I am so disappointed that I have decided to do so this one time.

These sandals wore out too swiftly. The insole just sinks into itself after a month. I found myself going back to my quicky mart store flip flops which I was supposed to be replacing.

Great design! Chic, comfortable & easy to walk in. The only way these shoes could get better is if they were made of leather and had more give. The material feels a bit stiff. Still love these though.
If there’s one thing we all have in common, it’s the need for shoes! We all have different preferences as far as style, and some of us might prefer one specific brand, while others like more of a variety. Some people may wear the same pair of shoes over and over until they fall apart, and some may have thousands of shoes in their closet!
Some men may prefer a more relaxed look with a sweet pair of Vans®, but others may need work boots or a more traditional pair of wing tips for the office. At the end of their shift, they might change into a pair of Nike shoes or comfortable and vibrant ASICS shoes for the gym. Women, too, can’t go wrong with a pair of Steve Madden® high heels for work or play! They can also be seen in flats from brands like Jessica Simpson® and Chinese Laundry®, or an adorable pair of Frye® boots.
It takes a variety of shoes to outfit people on a day-to-day basis, and kids are no exception! They’ll need Stride Rite® shoes to get them going in the early years, Sanuk® sandals for those days at the beach, and UGG® boots to keep their little feet warm during the winter months. Kids require new boys’ shoes and girls’ shoes more frequently because their feet are constantly growing and their activities are continuously changing!
Casual comfort for adults is a must. Hanging out poolside or on a boat requires flip-flops or Sperrys boat shoes, or if your feet have been through the ringer, put on some walking shoes and go for a relaxing stroll through the neighborhood in a pair of Clarks shoes. Hurting feet sometimes require special therapeutic shoes like Propét®. These shoes work for arthritic feet and feet that require extra room for orthotic inserts.
Whatever your shoe preference, there’s something here for everyone. Shoes make a statement and brighten any outfit, any day of the week. Whether it’s a pair of sandals, platforms or dress shoes, you’ll find your pair and they’ll stick. Find comfort in knowing that your shoes serve a purpose, and that is to make you feel confident and ready to take on the world!
