Over the last year or so, I have ran in 4 different pairs of running shoes, each from different brands. I was looking to find the perfect shoe for me. Each time I bought a shoe, I went to my local specialty store and was fitted. First, I ran in the Brooks Ghost 5. I personally loved this shoe, but found it was a bit too heavy for my needs and decided to go more lightweight with the Mizuno Sayonara. This shoe, despite the weight, offered a good amount of support. The downfall was that running on trails was extremely painful with the bottoms being paper thin. They also practically fell apart at the seams. The next shoe I tried was the Saucony Ride 6. This shoe was light and thicker at the bottoms, but hurt my feet terribly. I put about 150 miles on each of these before doing away with them. Looking for change, I bought these. I was a little apprehensive when I first tried them on that the bottoms were too thin. I picked them up for the steal and decided to give them a try. These shoes are amazing. They are the perfect mix of lightness, durability, flexibility, support, and longevity. They gripped the ground well when I ran on trails and supported my knees on roads. I have worn these for close to 200 miles and absolutely love them so much I will probably buy another pair. The only downfall is that I bought mine so cheap on a clearance rack and the only color available was the yellow and black one which horrendous looking in my opinion. The price was too much to pass on for me though! I would recommend this shoe to anyone looking for a truly versatile shoe. It is flexible enough for a workout and supportive enough for my 8 mile runs. Can't wait for the 5s!

The color is much darker than presented, more of a dark chocolate brown. It's hard to photograph dark colors and still show the detail so that is understandable, just be aware it is darker. I found the sizing to be at least half a size smaller and last but not least, the lacing pattern isn't symmetrical in a very why-did-they-do-that sort of way. If you don't have OCD you will when you see these laces. It doesn't show on the pictures here so maybe I just got a bad copy. I returned them.

Don't like them. They feel like rockers. I don't feel like the balance is good. The tread is wonderful for grassy areas but not very comfortable on solid ground. I will wear them as usual and get a different style when it's time.
