KEEN® was born from one simple question: Can a sandal protect your toes? The answer is yes and the reason is the KEEN Newport, a waterproof sandal featuring KEEN Patented Toe Protection.
Today, KEEN makes a broad selection of shoes for men, women and kids Hybrid.Footwear that goes from trail to city. KEEN shoes and sandals feature innovative technology like S3 heel support and Metatomical footbeds to support and cushion feet. However you choose to create, play and care, KEEN Hybrid.Footwear was designed to go wherever your HybridLife takes you.
In addition to shoes, KEEN also makes bags and socks. The KEEN Hybrid.Transport bag collection features recycled and re-purposed items from the footwear manufacturing process. KEEN Hybrid.Sox offer a seamless fit for the left and right foot and are made with organic cotton and Merino wool.
KEEN is more than a footwear company. KEEN strives to be a company with a conscious by supporting social and environmental organizations. KEEN also strives to take small steps towards sustainability by using recycled and re-purposed materials whenever possible.

Very comfortable to wear for a kicking around the town shoe. It's a very cute shoe on. Would be comfortable for an all day walking event. Also, it would be fine for a light to moderate hike.
The length was as marked, but having been used to Keen's normally roomy toe box, I was disappointed that this pair was definitely narrower than I was used to. I hadn't found any other shoes as lightweight as these which I did like. The sides have less support than the standard Keens, but because the sides are soft, I hoped that they would stretch. So far they haven't but I've worn them too long to return them.
Ugh, I wanted so badly to like these shoes. I'm generally a huge fan of Vivobarefoot and other barefoot flats, but after getting pregnant I decided I needed something with more support. The cushioning is good; the width is good (for my skinny feet and long toes), but the back rubs up against my achilles tendon in a horribly painful way. This is especially annoying, as the problem didn't appear until after I wore them for a few hours (so I can't return them).
