I needed a pair of boots for rain and also mucking around a friend's farm. These boots are comfortable and fit well. I have fairly narrow calves (14") and there isn't a whole lot of room around them, so I don't recommend them for anyone who doesn't have somewhat skinny legs.

I really wanted to love these but I had a few issues with them. As other reviewers have stated, they were very tight in the arch/instep area. Also, they were tighter around my calves than I prefer; I wouldn't have been able to tuck in my pant legs. They felt very slim fitting all the way around. I ended up going with the Kamik Jenny, which fit much better for me (very comfortable!) and are slightly shorter, avoiding the tight around the calves issue.

I love these boots! They are very comfortable, much more so than I expected. The quality is great and I love the fact that they are made in Canada! I'm normally a size 8.5-9, depending on the type of shoe so I ordered a 9 and they fit well. I have high arches, a wider foot, and a high instep so I do have to give them a slight tug to get them off but that's normal for me with most boots. There is a bit of wiggle room around my foot but if I sized down to an eight I highly doubt I would be able to get them on and off. That also gives me room to put them with a heavier pair of socks. I just returned a pair of Kamik Olivia boots as they were too tight in the instep and too tight around my calves. These, being a few inches shorter, fit perfectly around and leave plenty of room to tuck in my jeans. All in all, I'm quite pleased!

Overall very pleased. I typically wear a 9 1/2 or a 10 narrow. I ordered the 10 and it's fine. Works with light socks. Also works with my skinny calves. Only complaint is a bit heavy for summer wear, but again it's overall a winner!

I love the style of these boots, the inner lining feels like you are walking on clouds... but! I could barely get these on because the top of the boot is too narrow for my calves. Once on, I could walk around the house without discomfort, however there was no way I could wear these with pants and have the pants tucked inside the boots. There was no wiggle room at the leg. As it was, I wore thin mid-calf socks and shorts to try these on and the top of the calf was a very snug fit. What I found really odd is that there was a lot of wiggle room within the foot! I am often a size 8 or 8.5 in tennis shoes, but boots I find I usually have to wear a 9. I felt like I could wear 4 layers of ankle socks and still feel comfortable in these things! But if I sized down for a better fit in the foot, I highly doubt I could get these on over my calves at all! Would I recommend these to someone who just wants to wear these with skirts or shorts? Yes. Would I recommend these to someone who wants to wear these with pants? No. No way to tuck in, and pointless if you don't tuck, IF you are truly wearing them due to rainy weather. Stylish, comfortable but impractical. I am returning these for a different style (same brand) so that I can get what works for me.

UPDATE: I've since worn these in the rain, and the water beads up on the surface and sheds right off. The last few beads of water are easily dried off. For mud, just rinse the boot under water and dust off any loose dirt. Still, I wouldn't use these boots for stomping around in the mud. These are a bit dressier.

I am moving to the UK, where it's supposed to rain a lot and I'm supposed to walk a lot. So I did a lot of research on rain boots, especially comparing the Kamiks to Hunters. I just couldn't justify the price tag on the Hunters and the Kamik Jennifer got such great reviews all around that I had to try these. So glad I did! I'm 5'3" and a size 7 and was nervous about reviews saying it would be small. I got a 7 and an 8 in black and burgundy to try. The 7 was snug when I put on thick socks and jeans and more difficult to take off initially. But the 8 looked lumpier and not as fitted, so I went with the 7, and after walking around in them for a while, it was more comfortable and I could even take them off pretty easily. I have fairly small/average (what exactly is average?) ankles and calves, so the fit was great and no ankle problems. Also, I really love the burgundy color; unfortunately, I just bought a raincoat that is burgundy as well and I didn't want to look like a walking glass of merlot, so I went with the black.

I'm a solid size 9 (or 40) shoe, but I always take a size 10 in the Kamiks, wearing them barefoot (in Florida). I ordered both the Kathy and the Katie in black. Both are very comfortable although they slip in the heel. That was fixed by getting some Dr. Scholl's arch inserts, which makes them perfect. I love the almond shaped toe, the light weight and the flexibility of this rain boot. They are classy looking in the black. I decided to keep both styles because I can see times when I'd want the higher shaft and times when I might want the lower shaft. The shaft was plenty big for tucking my jeans into, but then again, I did size up to a 10. These are very easy to get on and off, unlike the solid rubber boots. I do not plan on wearing these mucking around the garden. These are for going to work or running errands in the rain. I'll see how well they hold up.

What a great find! These boots are not only comfortable but durable, too, especially for the price. They are fitted in the ankle and calf, which I like but may be an issue if you have wider feet and calves.

These boots are so cute and comfortable inside. The biggest problem was the calf - it felt like it was cutting off my circulation. I had to send them back. I wish they had ones similar that adjusted in the calf.

Received these boots on time. However, there were signs of scuffing and the rubber on one buckle was warped and dimpled. There were two indents and a scrape on the top of the foot of one of the shoes. Disappointed, returning. Hopefully next pair will be higher quality!

I'm normally a size 9, but previous attempts at trying Kamik boots make me order the 10 instead. It's snug enough to stay on, but loose enough to get off easily. Because these are more fabric and less solid rubber, the feel much nicer on the foot and are MUCH easier to get on and off. The almond shaped toe is also more flattering than the clunky solid boots. I'm curious how waterproof they're going to be, since they have a fabric outer. I'm tempted to buy some Scotchguard or Rustoleum Neverwet and spray on the outside, just to be on the safe side. I got the black, which looks classy. The top of the boot had plenty of room, but not too much.

I'm normally a size 9, and I could get into a size 9, but my toe was hitting the front of the boot. I tried a size 10, which was better, although looser. Then again, I still had a terrible time trying to get the boot off, even with bare feet. I loved the red color, but I went with the fabric Katie instead.

Really nice looking boot. I've worn these while working in the yard (super muddy) and simply hosed them off and then wore them out with jeans and a cute sweater. Great boot, not waterproof issues. Very comfortable to walk around in. Keep in mind the ankle area is tight so I would order a half size larger just to make it easier to slide your foot in and out.

I love my boots. They can scuff easier than other rain boots. My sister has had a pair longer than me and hers have black permanent marks on them from the bottom of the boot touching/rubbing on the colored part. You are sometimes able to see your socks/pants through them. I do not regret buying them.

Love the shoes, fit and comfort. Would suggest that the velcro not be white because you have to have them tight or the white velcro shows.

These are too snug. I could get them on, but it took me forever to get them back off. I'm normally a size 9, but the 9's in fit too much like a glove with bare feet. They do look good. I think the shorter version, the Heidi in a size 10 might work for me better.

Mmm mmm - I like these boots. I originally got them thinking they'd be good to wear in the winter on those sloppy days when you don't want your nice, expensive, leather boots to take a hit. They're so stinkin' cute that I'm pretty sure I'll wear them even when it isn't too sloppy. They're going to look good with a tunic and tights, as well as with skinny jeans for a weekend look. I've worn them in the garden a few times after a big rain. Easy clean up from mud. Comfy, but haven't worn them all day. They're a go in my book.

These boots are just what I was looking for! I am normally a size 7 or 7 1/2 so I ordered an 8. They fit perfectly. Nice sturdy boots keep my feet dry while still looking stylish.

I bought 2 pairs last year and needed to break them in a little before the front part was comfortable (stopped rubbing) on my toes, but not this time, the were perfect from the get-go. The first time I wore these was on a trip to Disneyland. I was the only one in my family who didn't have sore feet after 14 hours at the park! No rubbing or sore spots. Incredibly comfortable and very supportive. I am female and have wide feet (and a bunion on one foot) so I have difficulty finding women's walking sandals that are wide enough. I wear a women's size 7 1/2WW. I ordered these in a men's 7D. They are just a little bit too long (which was expected.) Based on that, I would say they run a half size small. I am about to order another pair.

These boots fit the bill for Manhattan torrential downpours! They keep my feet dry and cover my work pants very nicely. Caveat - I have pretty thin ankles and narrow feet, and usually fit a size 7.5. I got a size 8 per the reviews, and it fits snug. The shoe is narrow though, so if you have wide calves or wide feet, I would not be keen on recommending these.
