Absolutely LOVE these boots! I originally had reservations about what to wear them with but I have quickly found out they go with darn near everything! I'm getting tons of compliments on them and am considering another pair!

I have bought Dr Martens shoes before from outlet stores and they just did not feel right (they only come in whole sizes and I wear a 9.5) so I was somewhat wary of buying these. They arrived 3 days after I ordered them and I am very happy to say a size 10 fits like a glove. They run small so order the bigger size. Very nice shoes at a very nice price!

Doc Martens are definitely unique boots. There are two different types, those made in Asia, and those made in England. The English boots are just like the ones I owned 35 years ago when I was a punk in the late '70s and '80s. They are more expensive, but worth the extra cash. Back then, they had a flat insole and still do today. However, they now sell insoles that make them extremely comfortable. There are two types of insoles, the comfort style and the performance style. I tried both and the performance version is far superior. If you want the boots to be comfortable right off, get the insoles, your feet will thank you. Sizing, just follow the UK to US conversion chart and you'll be fine. My UK size 10 fits my US size 11.5 foot perfectly. Take care of the boots with the Doc Martens balm, and they will easily last you longer than you can imagine. My pair I bought in the mid-70's lasted me 20 years. The Asian version of the boots isn't as well made as the UK models. If you plan on wearing them once every other week when you go out, they will be fine. If you plan on wearing them every day, buy the UK made version. You'll be wondering in five years if and when they might finally wear out. I'm on my third pair, and I'm in my mid-50's now. They are fantastic boots.

I own the Pink Vintage Daisy. These boots are amazing! Wearing them definitely puts me in my happy place. They fit great, wear well, and are so darned cute. Tons of compliments on them. Four stars on comfort just because, for me, I wish they were a tad wider. I am sure with more wear they will be fine as they are not stiff and began to give a little after their first outing. If you are tempted, buy them! You will not be sorry!

Pretty cool looking: stylish and edgy, and the brown is a nice deep color. The toe box is very wide, so they looked a bit like clown shoes on me. Because these have an extra layer of leather stitched over the front, they look bigger than regular Docs. I tried two sizes because these run large, but even in the correct size, they were just too wide for my average width foot.

These are awesome. I have big ankles, and most brands that have the strap going over the top of the foot are too tight - even when the strap is adjustable. These fit great and I have two slots left on the buckle. I am on my feet all day and my feet don't hurt. They are really flattering. They look great with dresses or slacks.

I love these shoes. they scraped up my heels at first, but after about 2 weeks these bad boys were broken in. So glad I didn't give up on them during that time. I've worn them practically every day for the past 6 months without a problem. I'm a woman's size 8.5 (US), so I took the advice of other peeps and ordered up to a UK7 - but they were way too big. Had to return them for UK6 and they are perfect.

Yes, they are a bit larger than sized, but that allows your toes to move. Who wants to walk around with tight cramped toes? They are very comfortable, soft but not limp, and the green color is exactly the color in the photo. The sole is just the amount of solid and flex. I really love these boots! Read one review that said she was too old for this style at 55. Really? I'm 60 and this style is just what I was looking for to complement my skinny jeans and leggings. Hey Doc Marten...make these in more colors! I'd love a pair in red/rust!

I purchased 2 pairs of the Dr. Martens boots; one pair for me and one pair my daughter. I love the look and feel! It seems as though they're pretty durable (she is very rough on shoes). I have the black and she has pewter. They seem to run about a half size larger (maybe a whole size). She loves them (I haven't worn mine yet)!

These are terribly difficult to put on. Once one, they fit fine and I think they would give me the support that I am looking for. Getting them on is a problem and a shoe horn would not solve the problem.

This uni-sex style looks great with skinnies and ankle pants! The stream-lined, dark Dr. Martens sole is supportive and grips various surfaces well. As always...superb service from Zappos: ordered Saturday morning, received Monday afternoon.

Loved the color and style (nylon was not too shiny as another reviewer noted), but these ran small for me (I wear a 7-7 1/2 and ordered a UK5/US7). Very light weight; note that lining is orange.

My first pair of Dr Martens. They are super cute, comfortable and the suede leather is nice. What I didn't like was the "fold out tongue" because it looks weird with jeans. I love the print folded down with skinny jeans tucked in, but does not work well with wider bottom jeans. Took them to shoe repair and had the tongue cut down & refinished. Look great now.

I got these for my son who is a freshman in high school. He loves them and wears them everyday. He has a wide toe area, but his biggest issue is that his foot is very thick, so most shoes do not fit him. These fit him perfectly with room to grow. Nice quality, they still look brand new after a few weeks of wear.

I love these shoes. Keep in mind that the UK sizing is different from US: I am size 8 US and in these shoes I am a UK 5 (even though it translated as US7 in the sizing). The 6 was too big and roomy, especially with the steel toe cap space.

I purchased these and the Sylwia because I love Doc's Sorella collection with the higher heel. They are both attractive shoes, but I ended up returning the Allisa because the cherry red was so dark it might as well have been black. I don't need black shoes. The fit was typical Doc - I ordered a UK5 which fit fine, my EU size is 38 and US size is 8. I would order them again if they came in more rustic colors, like the Greenland leathers, but this ultra-dark patent just doesn't work in my wardrobe.

They get comfy after a few wears. I recommend wearing them around the house for several hours to get them broken in. I had some soreness around the top, where the boots are laced, but not of a major concern. The soles are the most comfortable to walk around in. I've owned several pair since college and I purchased these for competing in step shows. A great choice!

It took three purchases to get the size right for these boots. Depending on who makes a shoe and what it is designed for, I typically wear anywhere from a US 9 1/2 to US 11, with most shoes in the 10 or 10 1/2 size. Shoe makers who utilize the EU sizing system are more consistent, with 43 or 44 feeling best on my feet. Based on the size chart on Zappos and its sister site 6pm.com, I ordered a UK 11. Well, I could swim in those, so those went back and I got a UK 10. Those too were a bit large, as they translated to a US 10 but a EU 45. Those went back and luckily I got the last pair of UK 9 from Zappos which translated to an EU 43. The friendly and helpful local Dr. Martens store staff confirmed these Styrene boots ran large and were oddly sized even compared to other shoes in the collection. For what it's worth, I found an old pair of Doc's in my closet, more of an ankle boot, that are constructed differently with a very roomy toe box, but the length in those were perfect and they are a UK 10. They were plenty stiff in the toe box, and I brought them to a local shoe repairman who wanted to keep them over the weekend to stretch them. I wanted to wear 'em right away, so after a bit of online searching, it seemed the break-in period could be facilitated and shortened with a little bit of manual manipulation, and I literally stuck my hand in the toe box and worked my thumb back and forth across the tightest areas for maybe fifteen minutes total, and could see the leather stretching a bit just from that little effort. Then I used a pair of cedar shoe trees I had in a pair of soccer shoes (a Nike EU 43, by the way) and a rolled up sock to take up some slack and left those in for a few hours before the first wearing. Then a few hours tromping around in them at the office with super thick socks: And voila! They felt wonderful the first night out on the dance floor. I went with two thin pair of wool/nylon socks, and they seemed perfectly fine after the little bit of prewear work on them. No blisters, no bruises, perfect length, and now just fine in the toe box. Actually quite comfy. The shoes trees go back in after each wearing to help keep the shape and to prevent any post-dance sweaty-foot shrinkage. Loved the style, more strappy than buckle-y like most other boots out there. Now I'm just waiting on some appropriately strappy leather pants to arrive and the look will be nearly complete.

This is my second tall boots from Dr. Martens and, unlike the first one, I need no break in for this great pair. I wore it to work the next day after I received it, walked around campus all day (yes, it's summer time, but I couldn't resist!), and no blisters. The leather is different as well; it's more supple than the usual Dr. Martens' leather. I can see this is going to be my go to boots well into the winter time.

Comfortable! One of the quietest and softest of these kinds of shoes I have ever worn. Fits as described. Only issue is they scuff easily for those who like the new look to last a while...easy to buff it out though.
