Wrightsock

Zappos is wonderful to deal with. These socks seem well made but I found that the man made material made my feet sweat more than they do in a thick pair of Smartwool hiking socks, which surprised me. Have not tried them on a real hike yet though.

I bought these socks for wet weather running. They do seem to keep my feet dry in mild wet weather, but I haven't had a chance to test them in real rain yet. The socks have a dual layer, and the inner layer sometimes bunches up under your toes. I find this does not bother me while I'm running, which is the primary purpose so that's fine with me. But it does bug me when I am just wearing them around. I would not get these for an everyday sock, but they are good for running.

The socks I got do not look like the socks in the photo as the ones I got have a tab in the back that sticks up. I still like the socks but the photo is very misleading.

Wonderful socks. I bought some thin socks at Target, but these are ever so much better. The fit is better and the small roll of thickness at the back keeps my shoes from eating up my socks.

I needed black blister-preventing socks. I was worried about the fit (when I look at the sizes, my shoe size is the smallest of that shoe size range). They were a bit loose when I received them but once I washed them and threw them in the dryer (I know, this is a violation of the instructions) they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and I am blister-free.

I've purchased Wrightsocks in the past and the quality has always been excellent. However, these socks do not stay up! They slip down into the shoe. Either I have 3 defective pairs, or this is a poor product.

After trying many brands of socks, I find I like these best over all the others. I like to walk up to 8 miles at a time and these socks will not shift on my feet as others will. They breath well and help to keep my feet cool and comfortable.

I am sorry to say I didn't like this sock much. They pilled quickly and I don't feel that they kept my feet cooler than another Coolmax pair I could get for less money. I only bought them because it is hard to find black cool socks that go above the ankle for everyday wear. Additionally, having to buy the bundle of 6 for sixty something dollars hurt, especially when they're individually packaged and so presumably don't need to be sold 6 at a time. On the plus side the top of the sock did not pinch my leg like most socks of that height do.

These are the worst socks that I have ever bought. They are white on the inside and black on the outside, and after one wearing (before I even washed them!) they sprouted masses of white pilling all over. They looked like I had owned them for decades. This happened to three pairs of the six-pack; then I gave up. I like my clothes neat, and I threw out all these socks, most of never worn. They are just awful: really terribly unsightly.

Almost everything I get from Zappos is of excellent quality, but these socks set a new standard. The dual layer design makes them the most comfortable mid-weight sock I've ever worn.

I am disappointed with this version of Double Layer Socks. I have owned a similar version of Wrightsock double layers before and was very happy. The previous version lasted at least five years of heavy use. This version, after only one month has balled up on the outside and has appearances of lasting only a few more months. They are not fine enough for dress (white shows through and balled up), and not heavy enough for sport. I'll not buy these again.

Great Socks - I use them to work out in and they definitely protect my size 14 feet.

Great Socks! If you are looking for sports socks that cover that oh-so-critical area above the heel that ALWAYS gets abused, especially by new shoes, these socks are wonderful. You have the protection where you need it and still have that low-profile-not-wearing-socks look. I have feet on the small side (size 6) - and socks that are one-size-fits-all usually end up with the heel completely in the wrong place for me. I appreciate that you can choose more specific sizes with these, and they fit perfectly.

They stay put - I tried a pair of these socks and immediately ordered the six-pack. I'm a size 15B and these socks stay put and the multi-layer construction does prevent blistering. Top notch. Buy them!

Excellent socks - Just don't put them in the dryer--they won't fit the same when they come out as they did when they went in. The fabric is light and cool and the two-layer construction really cuts down on the blister potential. Also the arch support is very comfortable and keeps the sock from binding around my toes.

Socks seem to be good quality and do wick away perspiration as claimed. Despite being double layered, they were quite thin however. If you're used to a Thorlos type product, these will take some getting used to since they're not "fluffy" or "cottony." Still, a good product.

Wrightsock's Silver Elite Tab Double Layer 6-Pair Pack - Wonderful sock. Can't wait until it gets really hot here in Oklahoma to see if they Wisk away sweat like advertised.

Great socks except . . . These are fine socks. I thought the tab would be an excellent idea, and it is, if you are wearing athletic shoes. I got them to wear with my golf shoes also. The tab is superfluous and looks out of place with them. Otherwise, they are great.

Great socks, Great customer service - My husband and I being avid golfers are always looking for comfortable ankle socks that don't side down in the back of our shoes and are willing to pay a little more to get them. We purchased Wrightsock when we were unable to find our 1st choice Dalhgren in anklets. They are very comfortable, don't slide down and seem very durable. At the same time I ordered Dahlgreen socks but sport socks instead of anklets in error and the costumer service dealing with my return was exceptional. Zappos has the best delivery, return and customer service of any online company I have dealt with. I highly recommend doing business with them.

Worth the price!! I bought these for a recent trip to Australia and New Zealand, where I expected to be doing a lot of walking/hiking. I didn't wear them as often as I expected, but I was very pleased on those few occasions when I did. They're extremely comfortable, and the tab is a great innovation. With other socks, I frequently got blisters; the tab completely eliminates that problem. I was also extremely pleased with the fact that these come in a small size that actually fit my feet. Many socks come in a "one-size-fits-all," but they're often too large for my size 5.5 feet. These fit perfectly, with no bunching. Overall, I'd say these socks are well worth the price!
