This is a super attractive shoe. The leather is soft. It didn't work for me because the shoe was very tight around the top of my foot so unfortunately I am sending it back. I don't have a particularly high arch so I think this issue may apply to others, hence the review.

Beautiful and stylish shoe!!! Ordered these and two other pair of oxfords to make my choice. This shoe by Vintage is well-made, comfortable and the size 10 was true to size on my size 9.5-10 feet. If my budget would have allowed a second pair I would have happily kept these, too, but I went with the Sperry Top-Sider Delancy based comfort, cost and versatility.

Received these yesterday. I will say I am returning them. The style is great, and this is some of the softest leather I ever put on my feet. the size was good. The issue I have, being larger, is that there is no shank that I could tell. I could feel the block heel in my arch, and I can predict from history tha the I would separate the heel from the soul in a couple wearings. I think for many this is not an issue, but for me I would have been upset. It pains me to return them as they look great on, and even my wife commented she would love to have shoes this soft.

I flinched when spending the (original) price, but after shopping other brands and looking around at cheaper versions I took the plunge. I'm not familiar with this line-slash-brand and thought well, if it's made in the USA I'd go ahead and spend that amount just in support. My other decision making thought was, yeah I could get off with a cheaper "throw-away" version, but I want a good shoe that'll last for years of wear, and because of the classic styling, surviving passing trends. What a wonderful discovery! As soon as I opened the box I could see they were impeccably made. Beautiful stitching and construction; when I slipped them on, they felt like they'd been handmade for me by skilled craftsmen. I purchased the Natural suede color, and honestly, I've never been this excited or felt so good about something as I do these shoes. Worth the price! Please Note, that they are a bit more narrow than I expected, but they fit and feel great, with no rubs or blisters - even when I wore them for the first time, out on a long walk. Maybe they're the correct width a shoe should be and I'm just not used to seeing my foot shape slimmer.

First of all, these boots need breaking in. I've been wearing them for a few hours every couple of days. There was a place on the right heel where the support piece ended and it really does rub, so I have to wear thick socks. I love the way they look, but they are definitely right out of the box boots!

I love these shoes! I have them in Tobacco and can use them for work or play, with pants or skirts. Unfortunately after wearing them FIVE times, there are holes in the heals in both pairs. I have never had shoes that wore out so quickly. They should probably cost less so you can buy several pairs or be made with a little more quality. The saddest part is that I wish I could wear them forever, but it looks like they will last for a month-- or a season AT MOST.

Good boot. Really comfortable, true to size. Funny up-turned toe in the photo is very exaggerated. Boot looks "normal" on your foot.

Adorable boot, quality construction--not a lot of cushioning, but still seem as though they would be comfortable. Definitely run a half-size small, however. I usually wear a 9 in boots (Frye, Old Gringo), but the 9 in this style/make was difficult to get on and, once on, a bit tight. Otherwise, sweet and solid little boot.

Great looking shoes and very soft leather. Unfortunately, I had to return them because the back of the shoe was too low. It felt like it was going to fall off. So although falling off was not a possible, it felt weird on my foot. I have a similar pair of shoes by Born- the Born Ibis. I prefer the Born's because the back of the shoe is higher and they have more support and are more structured. The Aubrey's are more slipper-like, which I can imagine is not as good for extended periods of walking.

Look great, but really aren't high enough quality for the price point. I also ordered a pair of Eric Michael brand that were far more comfortable, looked just as good, and cost half as much.

These boots are awesome, exactly the look I was hoping for. Cool, casual, vintage. They feel about 1/2 size too big but I'm keeping them anyway because they look so great and higher end than anything else I ordered. They are easy to put on (you do have to loosen the back laces) and aren't tight or uncomfortable at all. There is no footbed padding so if you're doing a lot of walking, you probably do want some kind of insert. Love them.

Love the style, fit, color, and comfort of this shoe. I like that these go well with jeans or a skirt. I thought they were a little overpriced so I waited till I could get them on sale. :)

These boots are beautiful, and the fit is very comfortable. I like that the boot can be rolled down to make it look less enormous when I wear it with skirts. While at first I didn't like the wool lining when I saw it (it looks a little fuzzy and fleecy), it's very comfortable, and it looks cute when rolled -- the color of the wool is close enough to the color of the leather than it doesn't command too much attention. Other reviewers are right that the shoe is cut narrowly, but it fits my (somewhat narrow) foot very comfortably. The soles are great -- offer lots of support, and the rubber looks like it will last forever.

These boots in the suede (don't know about the regular leather)...they are darling/so cute on, but I wore them 3 times and the suede ripped at the front of the ankle seam. I re-ordered and the second pair did the exact same thing but on the other foot. I wasn't hard on the wear of them, just walked in them. Crazy! I loved these boots and will be trying them in the regular leather version.

Garbage. Do yourself a favor and buy real Corcoran 1500 Jump Boots. While they don't have the cool weathered look and supple leather out of the box, the craftsmanship is far superior and they come in all sizes including different widths for a proper fit that won't destroy your feet. These knockoffs run extremely narrow and have poor craftsmanship. I exchanged several pairs trying to find the right fit and couldn't believe they considered some of what they sent to be pairs at all. They were mismatched, had uneven stitching, and didn't even sit level on the ground. I eventually settled on a pair and gave them a month thinking they would break in, but didn't. The result was nothing but blisters and money in my trash can.

I absolutely love my vintage oxfords! I almost did not buy them because of the price, being online and not being able to try them on. I did not want to pay lots of money and not even be able to wear them. But they fit and they are freaking awesome. I am so glad that I splurged.

Cute boot with the lacing in the back. Comfortable but the toe box felt tight to me or they might run a 1/2 size small. I ended up keeping the Frye engineer 12.

Love these boots! Was a tad worried about previous review about slipping heel but solved it with a nice pair of thick socks and boots were perfect and cool and great mushroom gray color that goes with everything...jeans, skirts, leggings - you name it!

I love these shoes. They are so cute and so comfortable. I love that they are made in the US by people who clearly care about making shoes. They're just a really nice pair of shoes! I agree that the soles aren't as tough as they could be, but I think that's part of what makes them so comfy.

Beautiful shoe, but the leather on the back of my left shoe tore within a week after wearing, so no chance for a return or exchange. Durability could be much better.

One of the best looking and feeling Chukkas out there. I like the vintage look with a classy, modern, spin. I love these more than my other larger boots simply because they can be worn with a wider array of pants/jeans. I have owned a pair for two months and my one knock on them is two fold - the cushioned insole moves around and comes out of place after a few days of wearing - nothing a little super glue cannot fix. And secondly, the wooden heel layers had a tendency to separate a bit, which I would assume will eventually come apart and need to be fixed. On the surface, best shoe out there. Under the hood, a few fixes but nothing major.
