I really wanted to love this shoe, but I made the mistake of purchasing a pair of Bruno Magli shoes as well. I have to say that the Brunos are much better and here is why: they are simply lighter and more supple. I feel the To Boots are just too stiff in comparison. Do yourself a favor and order both brands and then decide.

Buyers beware. When I initially put on the shoes, they felt fine both in terms of comfort and size. However, within 45 minutes of wearing them (with socks) they managed to burn/blister off the skin on both of my heels, right where the Achilles tendon is. I've never had this happen before, and my hunch is that its due to this overlapping strip of rough leather that overlaps the edge into the shoe. I think this creates a surprising amount of friction and chafing as compared to every other shoe I've ever worn. I'm not sure if everyone will have this problem, but I couldn't in good conscience omit this from my review. However! The shoes do look amazing. So if you have a high tolerance for pain, you can't go wrong.

Spectacular shoe, leather quality is amazing. Hurt my feet for the first month of wearing but I am highly active in my dress shoes, lots of walking. After the month break in period...Wow...the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever owned. They are like walking on clouds once worn in, I can't stop recommending these shoes to people. I've owned Allen Edmonds, Charles Tyrwhiits, To Boot New Yorks and these are my favorite even when compared to $500 shoes. Design is simple but the photos don't do the quality justice until you see them in person. Buy these shoes. Guarantee you won't regret the cost, they're worth every penny. I've worn them for 2 years, 2-3 times a week for 8-10 hours shifts walking a lot and they are still in great shape. Creasing is minimal. As soon as I beat these up too much from construction job sites that I walk regularly, I'll be buying another pair.

My size 7 boots fit (I'm a size 8!) Adam did a great job designing - The materials and workmanship are to notch!

Great materials used in these shoes - quality leather and real rubber. The toe is slightly narrow for a sharp look but potentially a too-tight fit. The flat outsole is nice for a naturally smooth step. There is a ton of leather-squeaking noise while walking; I assume the suede version, however, is silent. There is zero arch support.

I love the design of these boots and they're even more beautiful in person. The quality is to be expected. They are a narrow shoe overall. Which works for me.

For the past two years I have worn this shoe by New York Wayne. I wore it so much that I would like to be a spokesperson for this shoe. And I cannot wait to get my next pair.

An excellent captoe-style oxford. And this is actually an oxford. This is the second pair of TBNY shoes I have owned; I have a pair of TBNY's "Brandon's" in brown, too. The Aidan has very soft leather (the Brandon, in contrast, has a slightly stiffer type of leather). I've only worn the shoes about a half dozen times and they feel pretty much broken in. I think the sizing is pretty much spot on. I have a pair of English oxfords which are pricier and Goodyear-welted but the Aidan stands up pretty well.

Great shoe and perfect modern European style penny loafer. The shoe is comfortable which I have found with all of To Boot Shoes. The construction is of good quality, but at full retail it's pushing because I feel there are much high end shoes for that price. If you can get them on sale, then it's a no brainer if you are looking for great looking shoe. I picked up a pair in black and they are exactly what I was looking for. The work well in Business Casual setting or with a suit. They do run a full size large so order a full size smaller than what you usually order.

Delivered as expected. Been wearing them weekdays through my 3 hour commute and 9 hour workday - they are forming to my feet and feel like slippers. Great shoes!

I have 13.5 to 14 size feet, normal width, but high arches which make finding good fitting boot tough. Initially I tried a 14, but could not easily get one of my feet into the boot because of a high arch, but I was able to purchase a 15 which fit perfectly. Feels like a perfect fit. Very comfortable.

These oxfords run too long by at least a half size. Also, the textured rubber soles look cheap in comparison to the top grain leather upper. You can get higher quality looking black oxfords at this same price point from Cole Haan and Johnston & Murphy.

Love the shoe. Go 1/2 size smaller. One note of caution: Do not cross your feet while sitting. The buckles will eat up the leather.

Just got them and love them. I like the blue stitching. But if you don't, the older version of this shoe, the Zach, had tan stitching. The Harper seems to be the leather version of this shoe. So far, this Ashton is well made and comfortable. Can't wait to show them off. To Boot New York may be a little more expensive than say a Cole Haan, but I think they're more stylish. Spending more for that is up to you. Allen Edmonds is another one of my favorites with a bit more style than Cole Haan. But I definitely have Cole Haan shoes as well.

I have purchased TBNY shoes in the past and haven't had a problem with sizing. While this shoe has stylish looks, the sizing is way off. Tight instep and overall smallish sizing made these shoes too uncomfortable to wear.

My husband bought these and is in love. He says they are very comfortable and look very stylish. The only drawback is that the toes scuff easily (like any good leather shoe) but they have some slight ombre coloring that, if scuffed cannot be fixed with traditional polish/buffing. The cobbler charged us about $50 to get them looking like they did before.

Nice looking dress boots - first pair that I've purchased and very pleased. Agree with another reviewer, there was no break in time required. As the Item Information states, these boots run large. I generally wear 7.5 EE. When wide sizes are not available, I usually go up to an 8. Purchased these boots in 7 and they fit wonderfully! I've not had an issue with product quality. A bit pricey, but a great product. I'd consider purchasing these again.

These are beautiful shoes. Truly well-made and stylish. However, I gave them 3 stars because they look absolutely nothing like they do in the Zappos pictures. The pictures suggest that the shoe has a single dark-brown coloration throughout. In reality, the shoe is much, much lighter than pictured, and there is a different coloration on the toe of the shoe. It starts out with a darker brown color on the toe and gets lighter as you go back. If you want to see what the color of the To Boot New York Felix actually looks like, check out the pictures of the Magnanni Colo. All of that being said, Zappos has been fantastic. I was able to return the shoes very easily with free return shipping, and my money was refunded to my account within a week. I will definitely buy from Zappos again.

I have now tried this boot on 3 times on my carpeted floor and am going to return them. The outside edge of the insole feels like it is much higher than the center, causing a very uncomfortable pressure on the outside edges of my foot. In time they might "wear in" but I don't want to take the chance of that not happening nor do I want to go through the discomfort to get to that stage.

Nice looking shoes! On the narrow/long side, but not ultra-modern clown shoe long. Leather color/finish is awesome, not the softest I own. Expensive - in this price range I expect dream shoes/near perfection - misses the mark there.

Color is not what is pictured. They are not even near brown. They are mushroom/grey colored.
