Great bag. Love it. I've used it every day since I've gotten it. It is small, but it is perfect for me. I can fit a MacBook Air, iPad, paperback book, Nook, planner, papers, chargers, pencils, post-its, trinkets, headphones, and I'm sure much, much more. This is just what I carry on a daily basis and I assure you, it still feels like a small bag. I don't even use the shoulder strap because it is such a little thing. However, if I'm riding my motorcycle the strap works great. it keeps it tight against my back and it is totally comfortable. This is the best bag purchase I've made in years.
The elastic band on this wallet broke within two days of use. By broke I mean that the individual elastic pieces that comprise the band started to break. This didn't bother me as I planned to cut it off anyway. I removed 1 star because of this issue with quality. Aside from that, I really love this wallet. It is nice and wide and doesn't put as much pressure on my rear end when I sit on it. I'm happy with this purchase.
This is made from wonderfully durable fabric including extra durable stuff on the base. It is a good size, has comfortable straps, and I love the lighter interior and the pockets. I also love the way the bag is sturdy so that it almost stands& on its own once filled. It will be interesting to see how well it fits everything for my travel but I think I will be able to find a good use for it regardless.
Nice little computer bag. I have the black bag and it's stylish. Wish that there was a zipper that closes the main opening. All your small items can easily fall out if upside down.

Great bag! Use it as my daily work bag. Carries a MacBook, iPad and assorted papers as well as lunch. Tons of interior pockets, still finding new ones almost 8 months later! Use it when I bike to work as well! No complaints.

This bag is amazing, it holds everything you need without being bulky. Well made, great material. Perfect for my needs when walking the dog, holds my keys safe on the little key holder, cell phone, credit cards and money and of course the obligatory poopy bags - recommend this bag to everyone!

I had an earlier version of this same bag and can say that this is a huge upgrade! Tumbuk2 has made the pockets more functional and added a lot of nice little refinements to the construction. This is my favorite bag as it is extremely versatile, functional, and stylish.

Love this messenger bag for my daily commute. I have plenty of room for a lunch bag, 20 oz. thermos, Kindle, notepad, charging cable, iPod. There are numerous pockets for organizing various little miscellaneous items I carry: lip balm, ibuprofen, allergy meds, pens, swiss army knife, sunglasses.
I was looking for a messenger bag for my surface pro tablet. I remembered the brand Timbuk2, because years ago a bike messenger friend of mine had one when we were in school in DC together. I can't be any happier with this bag. I want something that I could take with me that wouldn't be too cumbersome to lug around. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this bag comes in 3 different sizes. I Chose the smallest of the 3. Now, fair warning this is just big enough to house the 11 inch tablet in sleeve, power cords and any other small items you need. I.e. pens, cell phone, keys. I've had the Timbuk2 for about 3 months now and it has not let me down yet. If you are in the market for a constructed, versatile messenger, look no further. This one is a winner.

The service was great I ordered on Saturday and got it Monday at work. Price was right, the only thing was that I think it comes with a strap that goes around your waist, I didn't get it but didn't think it was a big deal. Thank you Zappos.
This looked very appealing online - seemed a good size, and Timbuk2 makes good products. But when it arrived, it was enormous. Most 28" bags are around 10" x 14" in width and depth, but this is about 14"-15" square - that makes it extremely roomy. Some folks will find this a wonderful aspect to the bag, but it is way too big for me. I wasn't sure how many stars to give, as it turned out to be not what I was looking for. I tried to give only 3 stars for "style", but couldn't change. If you want a very, very large bag, you might give this a try.

I love this bag. It is slim enough to fit easily into the overhead bins on planes. It is versatile enough to switch easily between carrying modes -- using the shoulder strap for lighter loads and the backpack straps for heavier loads or longer distances, or handles for a briefcase style carry. The handles are very handy for picking it up to place it in overhead bins. The pockets are convenient for stashing books, tickets etc. It is comfortable to carry and nice looking. It is lightweight and so does not add to the carrying weight. It has enough room for minimum clothes for a weekend or a week.
I was already familiar with the Timbuk2 product. It is only slightly different than the 2007 model. I liked the older style a little better because I don't use the elastic to close the wallet and the end where the logo is had a section that runs perpendicular to the other strips that gave the strap a place to neatly ride. Zappos was super. I had a wifi issue trying to order and the people on the phone were more than helpful. Once I did get online to order, it seemed like I had just submitted the order when UPS knocked. Zappos is just about as cool and sweet as ice cream.

This is a great little bag for carrying just about anything. It is very comfortable to wear cross-body and has a separate section where I carry my Nook. Works well for everyday use.
This is exactly what I was searching for. It's not too big, but will hold my 1st gen iPad, plus a newspaper, plus, plus. It looks professional, yet is quite comfortable. Good pockets and I love the key fob.

Nice, functional bag. The material used makes you feel like you have a suit case strapped to your body. It wasn't my favorite purchase. But it will work for travel.

I just got into road cycling and needed something to carry my flat accessories. I love Timbuk2, their styling and quality is great, and this little bag looked great in that sense. But, when I opened the box and saw how small it was...I doubt I could fit my multi tool and patch kit in it together and definitely not a tube. The product description on this says "medium" and I've looked at the same product on other sites, and I'm just not sure what I received was a medium. If it was, I'd hate to see the small! With that said, if you're a leisurely rider that isn't going too far, then this would be big enough. If you ride long enough rides to need to carry a tube, then this just isn't it. I love Zappos though, they are by far the best online retailer I've dealt with!

I loved this bag but sent it back because the size is too big for what I need. The Zappos listing is confusing - says "Small/Medium" but I actually think that Timbuk2 has both sizes but you can't make a choice on Zappos. Anyhow, I am going to track down the right size. The orange color is adorable but pretty bright.
I needed a bag for a laptop (15" MacBook Pro), iPad, chargers, notebooks, etc... to carry to and from work. I wanted something professional looking but also functional. I'm 5'1" and messenger bags don't work for me because I'm too short and the strap never adjusts quite right, plus the weight of a bag on one shoulder is not ideal for daily use. I wanted a bag large enough for all of my stuff and still small enough to fit me. I love this bag. I use it every day and have had several compliments from other petite people looking for the same thing. It fits me great and it's super durable even when going in and out of it several times a day. I am also planning to use it for travel/flying. Definitely recommend!
