Excellent Boot for rain, snow & style. This is my second pair of Mt. Washington Chelsea boots and I hope that Timberland does not discontinue them. The update is great, as the heel is all rubber now instead of glued strips of leather that tended to fall off. The boots are a bit heavy at 21 oz and a bit tight at the outset due to the raised footbed, but that soon gives way to long term comfort. They look great with chinos or jeans, and can go to work on the farm without fail. They're very comfortable and waterproof -- I walked everywhere for three weeks in them and never had a sore day. Well worth the investment.

The shoe is very comfortable and looks good, but mine wore out very quickly. After about 30 days some of the stitching was coming undone, and they lost all of their "weatherproof" qualities. If you're looking for a shoe that'll last, I'd say to keep looking unless you like having wet socks every time you step in a puddle.

This is a great looking, timeless style, casual boot. I have seen many variations of it over the years and I have purchased some of them. While I enjoyed the other variations, the Timberland version is the cleanest and best designed. Not too dressy, not too casual, and not something that belongs in the Outback of Australia.

These boots are very nice if you're looking for a simple boot. They have very good arch support and appear to be very well made.

These are great boots. I've owned two pairs that held up and taken a beating. They're excellent for everyday wear from fall through mud season in New England. In summer I tend to wear other shoes because my feet get a bit hot in them when the outside temperature gets into the 80s.
I'd also recommend: Hush Puppies, Florsheim
