I really can't comment as I purchased these for my son serving in Afganistan. I did however think that the seemed rather small even though I ordered Large. I thought of re ordering XL . Perhaps I should but they are rather expensive . A Military discount would be nice. I would, however like to say that shopping at Zappos is a dependable and speedy experience.
Best socks my husband and I have ever bought. They have thickness only where you need it. They wash extremely well and dry quickly. Pricey but worth it.

Zappos continues to be fast and efficient. The socks are very nice, but a little thicker than desired since my shoes now feel snug. Nicely made item.

These are the best socks known to man. They are quality and stand up to hot water washes and lots of wear and tear. The padding is substantial and they hug your arches quite nicely. I don't normally pay this much money for socks but these socks are worth it.
I really like Thorlo socks and I thought that these would perfectly address the only concern I've had in the past...the thickness of Thorlos and how they don't fit under my running shoes comfortably. Well they certainly are much thinner so my foot is not longer crowded in the shoe, but I find that they tend to slip off my heel. I think that this issue is related to the unisex sizing. Woman's feet are not just a smaller version of a man's foot. They are generally more narrow, so even going with the recommended size based on shoe size they are still not snug enough. I would try going down to the size XS, but it is probably going to be too short in length. Great sock, they just need to make a woman's version like they do in some of their other socks.
1. Super cushion. So if you need a closer fitting sock, this isn't it. 2. Extra padded in the toe box and heel. 3. In the end I couldn't run with these, but I do snuggle up with them around the house.
These are fantastic socks. Fit great, and perfect for summer with the lighter material on top and more cushion on the bottom. My one issue with them is they don't work well with Superfeet inserts for running - the Superfeet is too smooth and my feet slide a tiny bit with each running stride, so I wind up getting more sore toes than with other socks. If you don't use Superfeet, these are perfect. I still wear mine all the time for rowing workouts, as well as casual. I love the look of the blue.

I am very particular about athletic socks...these are wonderful! Not too thick or thin. Feel fabulous!

These are my favorite everyday socks! Love the thorlo brand on the sock, since there are other black socks easy to match.

Our son needed socks for a hiking trip in Costa Rica. These have always been our "go to" socks, but it was nice to find them in a 3-pack at a good price that would be shipped right to our door quickly.

I've been using Thorlos brand socks for going on 30 years, with excellent results. You just can't beat the quality. This style continues with that tradition.
Have loved these socks for tennis for at least 30 years. They are nicely cushioned in the right places and last a long time. Worth the price.
I have been searching for this sock for years and years! Bought 8 pair over 17 years ago and am still wearing them! Getting a little thin now -- so it is time to replace them.

Great sock (so far!), but expensive. The real test will come when I see how long the elastic lasts.
I do a lot of walking around Manhattan and these socks are awesome! Usually my socks wear out quickly, especially wearing dress shoes. The only downside and it really isn't that big of deal is that they are bulky. If you are looking for extremely comfortable commute/dress socks, these are the ones!

Thick and cushioning in just the right places on the sole. Significant shrinkage. I ordered the Large 9.5 - 11.5. I wear a size 12 shoe. The socks were too short. Even if I wore an 11 shoe, the socks would be too short. If you want Mediums, order Larges. I did keep them. I gave them to my daughter. Expensive socks for an 11 year old! 3 stars because the sizing is disappointing. Typically, socks run big.
These were a gift for my niece. She is on her feet all day, as a bartender. She says that these "massage" her feet all day!
I bought these socks in pink for my daughter. They are very thick, warm, and comfortable. She wears a size 13 youth shoe. The medium size works but is a little big.

I live in the mountains of CO and love these socks for hiking. They have some cushioning and hold up well.
My husband says he loves these. We have had a hard time finding brown socks with thickly cushioned soles. I came across these and so we tried them. They are nice and thick in the sole and the elastic is holding them up well.

These socks are soft and comfortable. They fit well at the top, even on someone with a wider calf, and they don't sag. They are great for exercise walking, but also nice for casual walking. I like them so much that I got them in navy and black, too. Expensive but worth it.

Long before Thorlos® socks were even an idea, the foundation was being put in place. In 1953, Lewis Thorneburg, driven by a philosophy that a worthwhile life is, "...to be the best at something," began fostering that same desire in his son, Jim. In 1970, Jim became determined to build the best worldwide sock brand ever. His idea was to, "...listen to customers in order to find their real needs," and then develop solutions to their problems. The result was the Thorlos socks you see today.
