Love this sandal. But my son was irritated by the strap over the ankle. It's strong, which I loved but he felt uncomfortable. He stated that it hurt him to walk/bend at the ankle. So, they are going back.

Really cute shoe. I got my son a 13. He is a 12 and I thought I should size up as I did with my daughter's pair. Hers fits well. But they are too big on my son. Both of my kids complain that the back rubs. I had to stick some bandages on the back to keep them from rubbing. I would not buy these again.

These sandals look even better than they did last year! The open heel strap looks like it will be more comfortable. One of my children had occasional issues with the more protective heel strap on last year's model. I found the sizing to be the same as last year's model. I purchased a size up for both my kids. I love the protective toe cap and light weight of this sandal. My kids originally tried on Keen sandals and Toachi. Both said this was more comfortable and fit better. I highly recommend.

My son has wide feet and these fit him perfectly. I love the enclosed toe for protection but also very breathable and comfortable. Easy for a 3-4 year old to put on themselves.

My son has been wearing Toachi for years. This time, I ordered Toachi 2 in the next size and he was swimming in them. They feel more like two sizes up. Toachi 2 is obviously a different fit from the original Toachi.

I really wanted to love these. My 5 year old son has very wide feet. He's worn Tevas before so I thought we'd have no problem. I didn't realize that the forward strap is basically decorative since you can't open and widen that part of the shoe. It was too tight across his foot and I had to return them.
