Stride Rite

Because my son has a wide foot, I get the Stride Rite shoes that come in W, as a lot of the other brands don't offer W width. I've always been satisfied with them, until now. This particular style was horrible ! The leather rubbed on the top of my son's foot and left him with red friction marks. I even tried using moleskin and it still left marks. The tongue of the fisherman sandal was unforgiving and stiff. It had no give and laid right on top of the foot where the foot and leg meet (ankle). Every time my son would walk, he'd wince in pain.

This is a cute shoe for a toddler. Like the other reviewer said, the Velcro straps fray. But we are keeping these shoes since they are easy to get on and off for my three year old. The straps actually came frayed,, but as a mom with a kid who needed shoes that fit right away, we kept them. Zappos should do a big discount due to this poor quality of the Velcro straps. Otherwise this is a good shoe. Too bad about the straps.

Wow! Stride Rite never disappoints, and neither does Zappos! I ordered the wrong size at first. My son's old Stride Rite shoes were a size 4M. Stride offers a great leather insole that measures your child's feet. You simply take this out, and it will be marked with an imprint of his toes. I ordered a size 4.5 M. The shoes arrived the next day! The shoes were however too small, and narrow. Not to worry as Zappos offers free returns. I ordered a size 5W. Those fit perfect. My son loves his Artie's... Stride Rite names all of their shoes. They are so easy to get on and off. They match with nearly everything and are perfect for summer. I would recommend sizing up a half size and going wide on this particular shoe. I kept the shoes that were too small, we gifted them to my nephew. His Mama, & Daddy loved them! Just to let you know Zappos has the cheapest price. Nordstrom had them for more. Stride Rite brand is recommended, too by American Pediatrics for little feet. Great shoes! Your little guy will have happy feet!

Cute, versatile summer shoe; easy to clean, dresses up or down. Velcro strap is easy for a toddler to manage, but "invisible" enough that he forgets about it once it's on (so no taking the shoes off in the car!).

We love these shoes. Durable and much easier for my nearly 2 year old son to walk in than flat bottomed shoes.

These shoe are just what I was looking for for my daughter. She loves purple and I wanted something without a white sole. I am tempted to buy the next size up for her. Super Comfy as well.

I bought these for my grandson, they are awesome! not only are they well made, but they light up with each step. A big hit in his kindergarten class. Zappos also was great. Received shoes within 3 days.

Had to return these. My daughter who is three years old really liked them so I happily threw away the box. I then came to realize that she never wore them. She liked the look so much that she didn't want to tell me that they were tight on her feet. They run narrow and the bungee cord on top is too tight. (I had seen the reviews but my daughter has very small and dainty feet.) Thankfully I bought them from Zappos and could return them despite it being a couple of months post purchase and not having the packaging!

Bought these for my 2 year old who wanted sneakers that light up (like her sister's). I really like the look of these - they go with everything. The lights are bright. She loved them as soon as she saw them and is always excited to wear them.

Stride Rite fits the bill for my 8 year old daughter's wide foot. These sandals are comfortable and have just enough pizzazz to wear with sundresses and for church. We have tried wides in Jumping Jack but they don't seem to be as comfortable. We'd like to see more colors and designs made available in wide by Stride Rite.

My son refuses to wear any other shoes but these because of their comfort and fit and simple design. He wore them through primary school and is now in middle school! He goes through about 3-4 pairs a year because of growth and simple wear and tear, but it's totally worth it because the sizing is always consistent and it's easy. Through the years the quality seems to have gone down a bit, because I notice that the rubber soling seems to peel away from the shoe itself at the front. Still, for what you pay and the ease of purchasing at Zappos, I think it's worth the money.

These shoes are amazing. They fit great, comfortable, and cute. They are so easy to put on because of the pull tab at the back. My daughter has worn them quite a lot and they still look brand new! The fact that they are washing machine safe is the best. I highly, highly recommend these shoes! The colors seem to work with almost every outfit too.

This shoe was exactly what I was looking for. It's sturdy, comfortable and very cute. My six year old loves them and wears them every day. They are adjustable at the toes too, so good for narrow or wide feet.

Bought these shoes for my 4 1/2 yr old daughter and they have been great. I wanted her to have a good pair for camp and the colors are pretty, too. They seem to fit well and she's happy.

This is an excellent and nice looking dress shoe for girls. They are comfortable, lightweight and go with basic dresses and even dressier dresses for girls. They have a nice bottom to the shoe and are not slippery like some dress shoes. My daughter likes them. She did need a wide width. Her feet are not really that wide, but she usually has to wear a wide width in this brand of shoes.

This is my 2nd year coming back for these shoes! They are a very cute style. Cute enough to wear with a dress, but rugged enough for the playground. My daughter is 2 years old now and Id say she has a pretty average foot, neither very chubby nor very slim and these shoes fit her great! I only wish they made more colors!

My daughter loves her rainbow shoes! They are comfortable and easy for her to put on. We get compliments everywhere we go!

These are super cool! My son loves these and they do not hurt his feet! They are soft and light weight. I am very happy to find a good pair of flip-flops to last the summer.

My nephew adores his Jedi to Sith sneakers with the different lighted designs that show up in daylight and in darker lighting. However, his little sister is disappointed that Stride Rite is not "representing for the ladies" with Star Wars-themed sneakers. She wants to see Princess Leia for girls that have neat colors and designs that change in daylight and in darkness.

My son who is 5 loved the color on these shoes and i liked the fact thet they are very light but can handle a beating since the bottom is really thick and it doesn't waste fast like in other brands.The velcro is also very good and it lasts.
