I will take the graphite color although I wanted a jet black it was not offered and looked at the olive and then changed to the graphite. I will be using this bag to travel and I was wondering if their was a way I could use a lock to lock the bag using a lock that would lock the zippers so that it will be difficult to open the different compartments like a over strap and a lock at the top. Oh well, it's not offered. I would pay extra to see this cause in certain areas people have picked pickpocket forgers taking wallets etc. Overall I know I will be happy with the bag. I was looking for a Samsonite shoulder bag but this bag offers I thing a pocket for my note book and and area for my cell phones.

This bag is a quality product. Just what I was hoping for. Besides room for additional items, it has a padded pocket for my iPad in the main compartment plus a smaller padded compartment in the front for my cell phone. The grab strap is a very convenient feature as well.

This backpack has all the features I want in a work/laptop bag for travel. It is one of very few backpacks that has a luggage pass-through on the back and that pretty much sold it for me. I love the way the bag looks - different from most laptop backpacks. Some might say it doesn't look "professional" but honestly, it's a backpack...what is professional about that? I carry it for work/travel and wear it with a suit. It's very comfortable on the back. The way the shoulder straps are attached at the top with webbing allow them to move/swivel to accommodate different body types. I haven't ever seen backpack straps attached in this way before and you definitely feel a difference. The back is well-padded. Maybe too padded, it's quite thick. The laptop compartment is well-padded and easily fits my 15-inch ThinkPad with extra-capacity battery. I wish the very bottom piece of foam padding was twice as thick, to provide even more protection against drops, but it feels secure enough. The fabric inside the laptop compartment is lined with a thin felt/fleece. Soft and makes it easy to slide things in/out though it feels thin to me and I wouldn't be surprised if it ripped somewhere down the line. A lightly padded slot in front of the laptop compartment, also fleece-lined, is perfect for an iPad or other tablet. In front of that are 2 unpadded slip pockets, a good size to slide in a smartphone and one of those small memo pads. The top of the pack opens in an unusual way (see video) which on the one hand I like for security reasons - it would be very hard for someone to try to pickpocket this bag. The drawback of this is that it requires 2 hands to zip/unzip. The flip-out design actually also makes it harder to access the main compartment. When the top is flipped open, it compresses the opening at the top of the bag and you have to use both hands to hold it open to peer inside while trying to keep the bag upright. The heavier that flip-out compartment, the more cumbersome it is. It's too bad because it was designed to hold computer cables, batteries, etc - stuff that is typically heavier. I prefer to put my cables into a mesh bag and put it down into the main compartment. I use that top compartment for lightweight stuff - pack of tissues, crushable snacks. That works better, but it's not perfect. Also, if you don't zip it before you close the top, stuff will fall out into the main compartment. The thing I most dislike about this bag is that it's extremely front-heavy. I know this is a very challenging thing to address in a backpack, but this one seems worse than most. It's not a very wide pack, which is good because it's compact (it's more long than wide/deep compared to your usual laptop backpack) but it cannot stand up on its own to save its life! I like the fabric. It is different - smooth and soft but still durable. The zippers are good quality, chunky zippers that feel smooth when your run your hands over them. The bag is well-sewn and I expect it to last a long time. The chest clip is nice, easy to adjust, and the elastic "suspension" is a nice touch. The top grab handle is so-so. I have small hands and still don't like it, it's not very comfortable at all but not a deal-breaker since I'll be mainly carrying it on my, well, back. And as I mentioned before the luggage pass-through is perfectly designed and works awesome! So, this bag isn't perfect but has a lot going for it. The rain cover is pretty cool and would come in really useful if you're a bike commuter caught in a shower. Otherwise it stays tucked away. The water bottle pocket could be deeper and larger - the strap around it is set too low so a tall/large bottle may still fall out. But a standard 16-oz bottle works fine. The graphite color is very nice. A definite gray that is on the darker side, with the slightest hint of purple under some light conditions - I like it. If they could come up with a more practical design while still keeping the "cargo pants" feel of this bag, I think it would be much improved.

I bought for a birthday present for my husband and he loves it and has gotten several compliments on it. That being said, his iPad only has a top cover on it and it just fits into the sleeve. My iPad has the full cover on it and it is a tough squeeze to get it in. If the sleeve was 1/2" wider it would be perfect.

I wanted to get my husband a nice messenger bag for his birthday since he is a web designer and rides his bicycle to commute for meetings and usually used a bulky hiking backpack while commuting. I did a lot of research on various bags and decided on this one because of other's reviews, the many pockets, safe compartment for his laptop, and various other features. I was a bit nervous that the band of material on the bottom of the bag looked purple, but it is more of a grey in person. This bag turned out to be perfect for his needs! I was concerned that it would be too bulky, but it isn't at all. He's a tall, lean man and I didn't want his bag to feel too obstructive. It's the perfect size for his needs and I'm so glad I chose to go with the medium size even though his laptop would have fit in the small. We would both highly recommend this product.

This is a great bag for a 13" laptop. I have a MacBook Air and the main pocket protects it really well, with a really soft lining, without bulking out the bag too much. There's room for an iPad/Kindle in a separate soft-lined pocked, and a further deep pocket for power and cables. The smaller front pocket is great for keys, pens, cards and so on, and there's also a handle soft-lined front-flap pocket that I use for sunglasses. Finally, there's even a back pocket which is great for papers. This isn't the absolutely smallest or thinnest bag that you can get for a 13" laptop, but I think it's the best balance of size vs being able to comfortably carry the other items you'll probably regret not having - most notably the laptop charger, which other, smaller bags can sometimes struggle with.

I like the vertical design and the various compartments, easy and quick access. It doesn't look like a purse and it doesn't have the flap, that to me, just gets in the way. In black, brown, or cordovan, it looks masculine. I would prefer it in leather.

Awesome bag! The graphite color works well with anything. The bag itself keeps me super organized and all my digital gear protected. Just recently had a multi-city trip and the Trust was the perfect travel companion. Highly, highly recommend.

Nice bag although the Berry color IS BERRY. Do not be fooled by the picture into thinking it is a hot fire red, it is not - it is a nice rich red. I am returning it not only because I did not want 'berry red' but also because the one I received was clearly used. It had a couple of smudges and came with pencils and pens left in the side pocket! Yikes.

I have had this bag for about 6 months now and absolutely love it. It can fit all my stuff without being too big. Just to give you an idea of how much it fits... I currently am putting my Microsoft Surface with keyboard attached in the laptop pocket, my iPad fits in the sleeve in front of the laptop pocket, I use the zippered compartments that are part of the straps for all my cords, in the bag in itself I put my mouse, pens, binders for USB drives, and my shoes (since it is winter). I could also put my lunch in there but I am afraid of it leaking. It holds all this with room for other stuff as well. The strap is nicely padded so it doesn't cut into my shoulder with all this stuff in it. When I am traveling I just slip it onto the handle of my rolling case and don't even have to carry it. I would highly recommend this bag.

I do love this bag. Works perfectly for my little Dell xps 12, which I've termed a tab-top (i.e. tablet/laptop.) Wish the outside pocket had a slight gusset so the battery charger would be so tight in there.

I just love this bag! It is well made, and has tons of pockets. I was looking to upgrade to more storage room from the tablet bag I was carrying, so I could eliminate the canvas tote I always had to carry with it, and this really fit the bill. I can now carry my Surface, iPad, and all the various and sundry accessories associated with each.

This little bag is perfect for my new MacAir. It's light, the color is pretty, and the adjustable strap makes it easy to carry safely. I really appreciate the videos of your purses and other bags; gives an accurate insight into size, length, appearance. Well done, Zappos!

This bag is well designed and super functional. The laptop sleeve in the back is a great idea. However, I've found that this bag is too big for me to use just as a laptop/iPad. I looked at getting the small, but it's only 1 inch shorter which doesn't really change the size much. I think that the water bottle pockets on the end make it too long so I am returning it. However, if you are a tall guy, I think this would be a great bag.

I really like the form factor of this bag. I actually had another which was very similar, but only held my iPad. I purchased this to accommodate that and my new MacBook Air and it is just as awesome as the previous bag.

This is the ideal bag for me and lived up to my expectations. I wanted a bag which could fit my Macbook Air 13 inch, power cord for iPhone and Mac, and a magazine/book/iPad on the outer pocket. The best part is the bag passes TSA screenings so that you do not need to take the laptop out of the case. It worked for me in the UK and US airports. The only negative is the strap has a slight fray which I experienced on the first week of use. I will likely contact STM. Great product and outstanding value. Very lightweight and built for travel.

Really great bag! My husband loves it. This bag can carry a lot of thing, but when you just put a little items in, its style is still quite good. Very useful, gives his Mac Pro 13" great support! The most different part for this bag, which is also the part we love the most, is the laptop is designed to slip from the side of the bag in a totally separate space. Zappos should put pictures with this great feature! This is so unique and so useful! Definitely worth the price. Great bag. I would recommend it to anyone!
