Spanx

I was looking for a full slip to create a smooth look under a jersey knit dress. This was not the shape-wear for me. Two major problems, there's a built in panty not sure why it's a slip so I could see the panty lines through the slip and my dress. Second problem the straps were set too far out on my shoulders and dug into my underarm. Poor design.

This bodysuit shaper was what I was looking for to wear under a jersey knit dress to a wedding. I need something that was one piece so I would have a smooth look in the back of the dress. I'm 5'3" about 128lbs and ordered the small. The back fit up over my bra strap creating that smooth look. Like I said it was everything I was looking for except for the straps. On me they gaped slightly in the front which I figured I would get over as long as it wasn't noticeable under the dress. The problem was the straps are very far out on your shoulders so they were visible outside of my sleeveless dress. Also, even though the gaped in the front, were digging into my underarm. I could not image trying to wear it all night. Sorry Spanx the straps are the downfall of this product, have to return.

I am normally a size 4 in clothing and got these in a medium in hopes that they would be more opaque since they wouldn't stretch as much. Also I tried on a Spanx bodysuit in the past in my size and it was a circus act trying to get out of it. So I thought the medium might be better. These feel fine but they are very see through! I bent over and you could see my underwear and even the pattern on them. Yikes. I definitely can't wear these out in public and would return them but unfortunately I threw away the cardboard packaging when I got them. I was sure I was going to love them so I didn't bother saving the packaging and now I'm stuck with these. They would be fine if they weren't so see through. As they are, they are nothing special and there are much better options out there.

These literally fall apart after one use. They are a good idea in concept. Very confortable and easy to wear. After wearing them to one event I came home to find strings coming off the garment. After the second wear they were just falling apart at the seams. I would not reccomend spending the money on something you aren't going to wear more than a couple times.

Super comfortable. I worried that the front clip might dig into my skin, but that hasn't been a problem at all. Looks great under clothes and doesn't create weird lines at all.

If ZERO stars were possible, that is what this garment would get. The very first time it was worn, the seam started to go. After 3 washes, it has come undone in so many areas that it had to be thrown away. In addition to the very poor quality of the garment, it was very light and provided little support. Very disappointed in Spanx quality, had previous set that lasted many years.

This Spanx string bodysuit is definitely pricey, but I put it on and it is amazing! Very lightweight, holds your tummy together and is perfect under a fitted dress: no bumps, lumps or panty lines. It was worth the money!

I recently purchased Spanx In-Power Line Super Higher Power and finally got to wear them this weekend. I am very disappointed in the quality of this purchase. I wore it to a party, so a total of about 5 hours and one of the seams has already torn. I am a medium size woman, with some baby weight to control, which this didn't do a good job on the tummy area and it does roll at the top.

These are great to smooth out your tummy area and probably nest suited to those who do not require the compression of other Spanx products or want to wear a shorter dress/skirt. They are very soft and comfortable, I do not have any issues with runs although that said I do have my nails short and manicured at all times so no chance for snagging on a sharp corner. On top of the other positives, my man finds them just a little bit sexy, too. I agree with the previous reviewer, please release these tights in a sheer or nude! I would also like to see a hipster version!

I bought this and now I'm stuck with it. I went by their size charts and it still doesn't fit. I'll not buy from Spanx again!

The sizing is off. I have worn an 8/10 for years. I could not get the medium on at all. I would say purchase one size larger than you think you should...plus the panty thing looked like it was going to be a drawback.

Great purchase. I've ordered Spanx and off brand Spanx in the past that roll down at the waist but these stay up great. Very comfortable - I wear them with every dress I own.

This is my first pair of Spanx and I definitely plan to buy more, but I was disappointed when they started to tear at the seams after first wear.

It is nice. It covers the flaws. Yet it is too long, at least for me. I am 5'3. I have a short and tight dress. You could see the leggings under the dress. Also, the straps. Straps are set widely apart. Not comfortable. They fell off my shoulder. It went back!

"Bra-llelujah!" is right! The girls have never been happier! Fit, comfort, wear is excellent. So comfortable you don't know you have it on. Finally, finally! Search no more. This is it.

I had high hopes for this when I tried it on. It fit fine, was comfortable and smoothed out that little "cupcake" bulge. But, once I sat down, it rolled up at the bottom and I was tugging on it all day as I sat down and got up again. If you have narrow hips and a small rear, perhaps it will work better for you. It need clips of some sort to hold it down.

I'm really surprised that no one else has mentioned that this makes a chaffing sound when you move (like corderoy pants). I think the fact that it has built in shorts so that it doesn't ride up is a great idea, but the noise it makes when you move is anything but subtle. The shorts should have been made from a different (less noisy) fabric. And, by the way, I also have several Spanx shorts style of control garments and they don't do this. Have to send this one back.

I don't understand the negative reviews! Like for realz, this is the best ever! It's comfortable. Lightweight and is a greater shaper! I wear a size 44d. The next bra I plan on purchasing is the full figure bra that eliminates side fat!

Works well for smoothing out stomach and back, but tends to ride up a bit.
