I can't walk without these in my shoes, they are better than the custom made insoles from my doctor. I use them they way they come, without heating them to form to my feet. LOVE THEM!
I'd also recommend: I also have bought and liked other versions of sole insoles

Not as soft, cushiony, or thin as I had hoped -- but still a really nice insole. Being a "Softec" line of insoles, I expected that the insole would be a bit more flexible and, well, soft. But the core part of the arch support wasn't soft at all -- it was hard. Not quite as rigid as a Superfeet insole, but still pretty hard. And while I didn't expect a ton of cushioning, I had hoped for more than these had. Finally, they were too thick to fit into my boots that I had bought these for -- forcing me to put them into another pair of shoes. So...does that mean they're not so good? Not at all! They're great in the shoes I have them in -- shoes with a removable insole and the extra room for them and shoes that have a more cushiony outsole. In those shoes these insoles work great. But in a dress shoe with a leather-type outsole and no removable foot bed? You'll want something thinner.
