Smith Optics Reviews
Awesome pair of shades. If you are thinking of buying the unpolarized version of this, cancel that thought as they look way cheaper and flimsy than these. Lots of compliments with this bad boy!
I had the polarized version of this Outlier from Smith optics but misplaced them at the beach. Unfortunately this has happen to me before so I decided to go with the cheaper, unpolarized version of this style. After having them both, I would definitely recommend spending the couple dollars more for the polarized. It looks way better as these frames are cheaper looking. they'll work for me for the time being. Thanks again Zappos for your excellent service!
I own a pair of these, and the smaller V90. I prefer the coverage of the Max for all activities; the regular V90 let's in a small amount of light and breeze through the lower part of the lens. Add to that the frameless design, and you've got a winner for just about any sport. My favorite sport glass since the Briko Sprinter. The smaller v90 might be preferable to those with smaller faces...? Only one minor issue: the combination of sweat, and wearing these under helmets(full face helmets) has led to the earpiece rubber coming loose on one side. Not a major issue, and could be glued, which I haven't yet done... I just have to be a little careful not to lose it when taking the glasses off from under a helmet.
Overall, pretty good glasses. The nose rests get a little sticky and stick to my nose if I wear these longer than 30 minutes. The nose rests could be made of higher quality material. Optics and polarization are pretty good at this price point. Comfort by the ears is good, but these shades are made for active users so they hug your head pretty well and you might have some discomfort. Overall, a good buy.
I bought this helmet for my last snowboarding trip, and it worked great! During my first run down the slope, I had a nasty fall and the helmet protected me 100%. I felt very safe for the rest of the trip. I highly recommend.

Awesome! These glasses are great for driving in the intense California sun. They are lightweight and comfortable for my walking, hiking and gardening. Smith has long been my choice for protecting my sensitive eyes from the sun, the lens seem to make my vision sharper. You can't go wrong with any of the colors/ replacement lens.
These goggles not only fit great, but look sick and don't fog up. Had some trouble swapping the lenses out the first time, but once you get the hang of it, it takes no time at all. Great woman's goggle. And, as usual, Zappos customer service was above and beyond even my high expectations!

These glasses are perfect for athletes! Lightweight, comfortable-never fog up & are excellent for cutting out the glare. If you row/on the water your eyes will thank you for the full coverage protection. After owning many Oakley pairs for running & rowing, always felt like a chump - knew there had to be better. Smith has well made products for a bit less cash money.
My daughter loves this helmet. She thinks it is super cure and has not complained once about having to wear it. I like that it is adjustable.
I bought the pair for outdoors and running. They did the job, however, after some months of use the white soft plastic at the end of arm starts to melt off and breaking apart rendering the pair useless. For this price, better material ought to be used.
I have a bit of a pea head so it is hard finding glasses that fit. These fit perfectly and feel great!
I believe Smith makes some of the best sunglasses on the market, and these are no exception. Extremely well crafted and stylish. Just note that they fit best on a medium or small (narrow) face. If you like this style but have a larger face, go with the Tenet model, which is the same, only larger. These are my driving glasses and I would not use them for outdoor sports because of their weight and the fact that they have glass lenses. As far as glass lenses go, they are lighter than my similar Maui Jim pair. Also note that the lens tint of this model is not real dark and though they are polarized, some may prefer a darker lens tint.
I finally found sunglasses that are not polarized which reduce distortion especially on the golf course, and with the three different lens colors you can change according to the weather make the sunglasses worth the price. I love them. The only drawback is that changing out the lenses is a little difficult, however, the instructions say that after repeated change outs the stiffness of the lens/frames lessens. And, Zappos customer service gets five stars.
Great look & super protection for the eyes in sunny locations. They are a bit dark for less than sunny conditions. These glasses are very light-weight and comfortable. Good for a narrow face.
These are great aviators. For some reason the smaller sized Ray Bans look terrible on my small, long, oval face, but these look good. They are pretty wraparound, which I hadn't gotten from the picture, but I like that.
Digging the black out style and the red lens that comes with it. Nice variety and looks great! The lens change system was super easy and no fog issues to speak of.

These are the only sunglasses I could find to fit my fat head. The frame measurements (from the Smith website) are 61-18-135 with a base curve of 8. The matte black frames are pretty stylish, and the lenses are really great at reducing glare. Plus they turn everything rose colored so your outlook on life improves by at least 5%. That's just science.
These glasses are comfortable and stylish. They come with a darker gray lens (which protects from bright sun quite well), a rose lens, and a clear lens. The lenses are easy to switch out. This is a very smart design with good optics. I wear these glasses at work, on the road, and while cycling. They never seem to fog up. I am very pleased with them.
Awesome shades. Got it today and it fits like a glove. I am a petite female 5'0, 107 lbs, small feature overall. Hard to find sunglasses that fits my face. This one is a winner. Love it!
Great sunglasses. Frame size a little larger than expected. Ignitor Lens is awesome, I got these to wear while river trout fishing and could not believe how well I could see details under the surface of water. I also was really pleased with the polarchromic auto tinting feature, not to dark in the shade then dark enough in full sun. The color I have is the matte tortoise I like it, my wife says it looks like camo. Maybe matte black backdrop frame with same lenses next time. Glad I went with these instead of the costas.
It took me a while to find a suitable all matte frame pair of polarized glasses for a decent price, and so far, I have not been disappointed by the Gibson. The frame is lightweight, such that you barely notice it, but not in a way that you are afraid it will slip off your head during use. The lenses are great, and the style is nice and low-key.
