This was a brand new style to me and I loved this shoe. I found it to be comfortable and true to size, but my mother needed to go down a half size.

I have been looking for oxfords and saw these. I love them. True to size. I have a narrow foot & wear size 7.5. They look great with jeans. Thank you Zappos.

I've been wearing this boot for a half a year now. I purchased them late last winter to protect my feet while looking stylish in the city. I do a lot of walking on poorly paved streets and sidewalks in a relatively humid city. The boots look absolutely amazing with all outfits, and overall they have gotten me through sludge and grime. Here are a few things I think should be noted. The leather: Very good quality. They molded to me feet after a few weeks and have held up through (southern)snow. The insoles: Are very hard and offer little to no arch support. I have extremely high arches and have lower back pain. However, inserting high dollar orthopedics fixed the arches and hardness. The soles: Sadly, they are unacceptable. They are made of a thin foam rubber (which is illustrated in the photos) and the heels themselves are a thin later of cork over plastic. I had to have heel taps installed roughly 12 weeks in and had the entire sole replaced after 20 weeks. Granted, I over-supinate (walk on the outsides of my feet) and thus wear down soles unevenly, but these didn't last nearly long enough. If you anticipate waling as much as I do, have plastic taps installed on the toes and heels immediately by a cobbler.

They are cute. I would need to wear big socks with them. They have too much room around the foot so feet slide. Ribbon doesn't allow you to pull tight. The ribbon is cheap so if you did use them I suspect they would tear and fray.

The 13E was exactly my size. I am normally a 12D in Sebago shoes. The shoe is everything I wanted. A great handstitched loafer with a durable non leather bottom. It's the perfect wedding shoe. Sit comfortably at the ceremony then dance at the reception.

These are not remotely wide calf boots, even though they did pop up when I searched for wide calf boots. My calves are slightly under 14in around, and these boots were so tight that there were red lines on my skin after wearing them for about a minute. They were also very stiff and uncomfortable from top to bottom, with no flexibility whatsoever. Not worth the money.

I have high maintenance feet - bunions, low arches. (And a bad back). I am really pleased with the fit and quality of these boots. They are nicely made. They have a softer leather, so to prevent early scuffing, I treated them with a weather guard. Quality and fit remind me of the early Joan and David boots. Low heel, every day and stylish! The ribbon laces are fabulous. I am really happy with this purchase! And I am picky!

These shoes look really sharp. They are beautiful and attract a lot of attention. I have the burgundy. They are also great because they have a comfortable sole that grips nicely and is quiet, so I don't make a lot of noise clicking down the echoey halls at work. That being said, I wish they were a tiny bit more comfortable. I can't tell if the size is a bit wrong for my foot or if the fit is strange, but they don't feel great on my arches, which are neither especially high nor low. Regardless, I still love them, wear them often and highly recommend them.

These are the most comfortable oxfords I own. The fit is true to size, the toe box allows just the right amount of extra space. I'm in my work clothes for about eleven hours a day and never had a twinge of discomfort in these shoes.

These fit perfectly. They are very comfortable. Sebago looks and feels better than other brands that I have worn (e.g., Uggs and Topsiders). The size and color were accurate. Speedy delivery made the order and fulfillment perfect.

As an older woman with bad bunions, I have realized that I have to spend more money to be comfortable. I tried this brand on at a store years ago - knew then they were comfortable shoes. These were a little big and I have to return them but I will definitely be ordering this brand.

I just got a pair of these to try out against Frye's Erin and Veronica Oxfords...the Sebago Claremont Brogue won hands down. I am 5'2" and wear an 8.5. These are true to size and the detailing breaks up the front so it doesn't look quite as long in appearance as the Frye's did to me. At first, I wasn't a fan of the ribbon laces (I received leather laces to exchange with the shoes), but the more I wear them, the more I like them. The quality of the leather is on par with the Frye's mentioned previously. I got the Mahogany Brown...and now I wish they were available in more colors in my size because I'd buy more! Comfortable, although I haven't worn them much more than 1/2 an hour at a time thus far. I ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I have narrow feet and I could see how these may be snug on people with wider feet. I'd recommend them! Great everyday loafer/oxford to wear around with skinnies.

This is an absolutely beautiful shoe! Runs very very narrow, though. I have a narrow foot, and it was tight with orthotics. The insert was glued in, so couldn't try the shoe without that and the orthotic, may have worked. I really wanted it to work! I will try a larger size, if Zappos gets them back in stock.

Nice and sturdy but there seems to be something wrong with the inside of the heel. It protrudes and bothers me even through my orthotics.

These are the best shoes that I have found for comfort and wear ability for the price. I have worn them for years, but the local stores no longer stock them in my size. As a M/M Officer, I am on my feet 10 - 12 hours a day.

Appears to be a very first class shoe by Sebago. I ordered my std size and will have to order down at least 1/2 (but think that should do it.) The quality of leather is rich. The entire shoe seems to be done first class. I can't wait to get my proper size. Great job Sebago and Zappos your service never ceases to amaze me! Thank you.

So I returned these, which is a shame because I really like the Brogue style. But the leather was horribly stiff and uncomfortable (I tried the Black Brush Off). Also, they are really narrow and pointy. If they had more of a rounded toe, I would have liked them better. The ribbon laces were also funny looking, I think they're fine with regular laces.

I wanted a rugged, wing-tip brogue and these are perfect. The leather is gorgeous. But I have narrow feet. I ordered them hoping that, because they were oxfords, I could tie them tight enough to fit but, alas, no. Pretty close, though. If you're an A- or B+ width, you might be OK with these.

Well-made, comfortable shoe. This is my first time trying a Sebago and I am impressed. You may need to break it in a little bit with some anti-friction product like Gold Bond or Dr. Scholls, but once its fit to your foot, the shoe is great and goes with a lot of outfits!

I have wide feet, and I bought this shoe to be extra wide. I think the recommendation to get a little wider than you normally would is true. I've had the shoes for a few weeks now, and they wear in really nicely. I gave comfort only 4 stars, because the shoes had little places where the thread & glue made a point that was poking the back of my foot. I used a nail clipper to take out these spots, and it worked fine. The shoes are really comfortable now.
