Scarpa Reviews
First, this is not technical footwear unless to you approach means light trails. It is however one of the most comfortable urban and light trail boots I have come across. They look great on and not like anything else. They are not waterproof, so do not expect puddle stomping without some consequences. If you recognize what the boot is designed for, which essentially functional fashion then you will be happy. I think they are great.
I've had these for a couple of weeks now and really love the comfort and style of the shoe/sneaker. I'd recommend them for anyone, hope this helps!
These sneakers felt like an old friend the second I trapped them on my feet. They were instantly perfect. I ordered a size 9 and they seem pretty rue, if anything a hair smaller than 9 which is perfect for me because I am somewhere in between a 8.5 and a 9. I bought them primarily as a mountain bike shoe because I am not going to use clip ins. The feel flexible, light and sturdy. I look forward to many years of use!
These are great walking/hiking shoes. I bought them for a ten day trip through Tuscany (lots of walking) and they were super comfy. Great support as well. I highly recommend.
Love the style and the fit. But the quality seems a little shabby. I've had them about 2 months, I maybe wear them twice a week and they look like I've had them a year. Around the rubber toe there is some strange creasing. The Vibram soles are a nice touch.
I love these. VERY comfortable. They've quickly become my everyday shoes. Stylish enough for going out on the town, but not too hipsteresque that you can't wear them to work as well. Big fan. They fit pretty true to size. I'm a 10.5 in almost everything and that fit just right. They did take about 2-3 wears to get broken in...the leather in the toe bed was a little stiff at first.
Elegant casual shoes! I got the shoes as a gift for my brother, who has a very particular taste, and he just loves them! They look very classy both with jeans and casual pants.
I wear a 9 to 9.5 in mens and have wide-ish feet and the 9.5 (42.5 euro) fit me great. Traction is almost over the top. I expect to slide and they grip. It took some getting used to. Only about 50 miles in them so far and love them. I'm a bigger guy and they support me just right on the trails, I don't run on roads.
WOW! what a great shoe. Fit and feel is excellent they look great. These Italians sure know how to design stylish and comfortable sneaks! Best pair I ever own. Buying one more. YOU get what you pay for.
I just love these shoes! They are very comfortable truly from day one. Beautiful color and pretty cool look. Seems to me, that it is going to be the kind of shoe that can only get even better use after use.
This is a great skate-style shoe for walking. I got this shoe for a vacation on which I would be walking around a large city and doing some light trail hiking as well. The shoe was comfortable and appropriate at all times. Scarpa is a top backpacking / mountaineering boot company, and it shows in these shoes. It looks fine with blue jeans and khakis, and is not too dressy, but being brown suede is dressy enough for casual daytime wear. The only thing to know is that you need to order 1/2 to 3/4 of a size up for US sizes. I am an 11 US and I needed an 11.5.
Super comfy and get alot of comments on how cool they look. Bought them for moderate hiking but found them too be kind of a go-to for a night out too.
Great fit if you pay attention to euro size. Would recommend going larger if you are debating. Good looking and very comfortable. Expecting great durability too based on other Scarpa experience.
These shoes are partially recycled (see Scarpa website for details). First got the blue/grey version in a size 12, but did not like. Returned for a brown version in size 12.5 -- fit perfectly and looked great. Comfortable and stylish.
Finally! Shoes that can handle a disc golfer! Firm sole and the very best toe protection ever. Awesome shoe for stumpy terrain. Every disc golfer who is tired of paying top dollar for shoes only to find the toe piece separating after a month should own a pair.
Great package. Sketchy lacing support material is the only thing holding this baby back from the top ten percent. I'd love to see you guys using the material LaSportiva's Fireblade employed. Outside Saucony's instep catching ProLock design, an Italian work of art.
THE most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought these for some light hiking and use them for everyday use. I really like the style and the quality is top notch. If you have a job where you are on your feet or walk all day. Try these shoes. Trust me you will love them.
This is a great shoe! The fit is perfect, lots of support, really solid feel, yet super light. I don't generally like to use a heavy hiking shoe or or light boot for day-hiking. I've often used trail running shoes for hiking, preferring the lightweight & decent support, but I've found that they don't hold up for too long. The Epic feels more solid than a typical trail runner, yet just as light & flexible, and is holding up really well. The build quality is excellent, a high quality shoe with tons of support. Outstanding hiking shoe, best shoe buy I've made in a long time.
Very comfortable because you can infinitely adjust the width via the lacing. Just make sure to pull the tongue to take up any slack at the toe, otherwise you'll feel it as you walk. Also, as other reviewers note, order 1/2 size larger. The length was almost correct for me but the width was too tight. 1/2 size larger was perfect.
Love this shoe! Once I got the right size, it fit perfectly. I usually wear a 10 but found that the 9.5 was much better. The Scarpa Crux is great for wearing around town or on the trail, especially when bouldering around on rocks. I have been wearing them all winter and they keep my feet warm and dry.
These are very attractive shoes among hiking shoes. The sole is very stiff, and it turned out to have great traction in snow and ice. Like the other reviewers, I found that these shoes press down on the tops of my toes. I nearly returned them for that reason, but they turn out to be comfortable enough. Size 41.5 fits my feet that need size 10 with orthotics. (I knew that from past Scarpa shoes.)
