Samsonite

I got this for my mom and she loved the color online, but not at all in person. She said it was a really dull pink. So we're sending it back. Otherwise, I have this suitcase in blue and love it! It is really good at standing up even when stuffed and extended and the four roller wheels are fantastic. So far I've always been able to fit it into the overhead bin when flying.

This has not held up well at all. I am missing three zipper pulls and the top handle is broken (the plastic piece inside broke which held the screws to the suitcase).

Best luggage I ever had. So light! I had mine for years now and all still good to go. I traveled to 26 countries over last few years. My bags do get around. Got few little scratches. I will not be buying a different brand. I love it.

Some of the zippers needed waxing to go smoothly but the spinner function rocks - this replaced a much more expensive Tumi I bought in '09 that lasted 3 years that broke (handle) after 2.5 years of usage...and you have to track down a Tumi store or mail it in for repairs, which you fund...for that price, no thanks. Price is right on this!

I received this piece. It is a very pretty piece however it is definitely larger than I thought. I typically fly United and they only allow 45 cubic inches and this measures to be about 46 cubic inches. I think you can totally get away with this hard shell piece on most airlines (even United) however I just did not want to deal with the off chance they make me check it at the airport. For the price, I just could not swallow the chance I may not be able to use it on a day to day travel basis so I will be returning it. The storage size of this piece is definitely good for a four day trip or a week long trip if you pack light. I love the fact that it does not have zippers and the combination lock is very easy to customize. On top of my concerns about the size for a carry on, my piece also came scratched/scuffed. Granted there was a plastic sticker over the main portions of the hard-shell to protect it from scuffs and most of the scratches were on that film. The scratch that I was most irritated about was a 2" scratch on one of the lock latches. It looked as if someone took a knife to it.

We purchased two sizes of this bag. Within the first leg of the larger sized bag's first trip (the only one we checked) the Samsonite tag ripped completely off. Otherwise the bag held up, some scuffs but no other major destruction. It handles nicely with the 4 spinner wheels, which we loved, but the center-style opening takes some getting used to (can't say I'm a huge fan so far). Let's see how it fares with future travels.

If you need a sweet mobile office and this case is for you. Purchased this bag for my wife. She's working away from her main office a lot and this bag comes in very handy. Very well made, excellent smooth-rolling wheels, very protected. Lots of pockets and space for organization. Pricey, yes. But worth the investment in Samsonsite quality.

I ordered this for my husband to use for work. This bag holds all his papers neatly and keeps them off my table which is always good. I did have to exchange it because it had a manufacturer defect but Zappos was amazing and they sent me a new one next business day even before I sent the original back. Props to Zappos on their amazing costumer service.

Love the spinner bags from Samsonite. This bag is large enough to hold a suit, dress shirts, a dress and light jacket in the hanging space. There is a small compartment on the bottom of the bag large enough for my husband's shoes and a few small items. We typically have to take a second small bag for our other items but overall this is a fantastic garment bag.

Excellent luggage. Great name, great brand. The description doesn't say it, but they ARE expandable. We were prepared for the older version that's not expandable and were pleasantly surprised when the luggage arrived. We are very happy with it and very happy with Zappos for shipping to APO such a large item. Thank you! Thank you! Thank You! We are about to move back the US and had to have new luggage, but couldn't get anyone else to ship to us, not even Samsonite themselves!

I always use two of these for international travel, which is often. Both still look new and have surprising capacity. I have them in black.

I just received my 20" spinner; it is beautiful. I purchased the rose color and it's kind of purple. Love it! Can't wait to use it in the coming months. I'm going to purchase another one.

As a business traveler making frequent 1 to 2 day trips this bag is perfect. It's well made, very functional and fits perfectly in the overhead bins so I don't ever have to check anything. I would highly recommend it.

This boarding bag was perfect for my recent trip to Italy. I was able to carry my purse, a book, camera and my travel documents in one bag that fit perfectly under the seat of the airplane!

The lock on this suitcase is TSA. I have the largest size, which when full usually exceeds airline weight limits. Also, I have broken a wheel on this after only a few uses. I would suggest not getting the largest size.

I absolutely love this suitcase. I have never had a nice piece of luggage before. Every time, I buy a cheap suitcase that starts falling apart during the first trip I take it on. I flew to Seattle a month or so ago, and while I was there, found this suitcase. Fell in love (it's Pink!), bought it, left my old suitcase there, and have never looked back. It rolls so smoothly, even when overly full with super heavy stuff (textbooks, laptop, etc). Took it to Detroit, Portland, Yosemite since then. Still perfect and new. Best investment ever. Love it!

I love the Samsonite brand and this is no exception. The iconic pink is a great color. It's not too bright. It is also light and functional. I would definitely recommend it.

This is the best suitcase I have ever had. It moves easily in all directions, the zippers work flawlessly and you can load it up with tons of stuff.

I have been traveling with two of these carry-ons. They are great! The wheels are smooth but only on smooth surfaces - if you walk through the cobble stone streets of EU, you will understand. It fits perfectly in the overhead compartment of the airplane. And it fits a lot of stuff.

This suitcase is awesome, and very sturdy. I bought it in Ion Pink, which is a gorgeous deep raspberry red color. This is the first spinner suitcase I've owned, and the spinner wheels really do make a difference. It's so easy to maneuver, and the color makes it very easy to spot on the baggage carousel.
