Great shoes to protect your dog's feet. I got these for an upcoming backpacking trip. TIP: test these out before any lengthy activity. I found that the first and second time I took him for a short run they twisted around. This was fixed by tightening the strap. This is key...tighten the strap and they'll stay put!
I have an all black lab mix that cannot handle the hot humid Atlanta summers. Taking her for runs would have been impossible without this jacket! If you have a black dog, this is a must have to keep the sun of their back! And Zappos as always is fast and efficient, the best company online to buy from by far.
Really quality harness. Great for climbing, canyoneering, etc. Others mentioned the inconvenience of the buckles but this is intended as a climbing harness and quickclips would not be practical for safety reasons. We altered ours without compromising the integrity of the harness (so as not to have to buy two different harnesses). By adding a small piece of flat webbing threaded through the buckle side with 1/2 of a quick clip and threading the other 1/2 of the quick clip through the existing webbing on the harness, we were able to rig it for quick on/off use but can easily remove our modifications for actual climbing purposes.

Love the look of this collar and that it comes in 1" for my dog...most collars that fit her are 3/4". Love the separate tag holder etc. BUT...inevitably it tears. I've gone through quite a few of these because I have the matching leash which holds up way better than the collar. Not sure if my dog is scratching at it or if she rubbed it on something but it's not very durable.
Read the sizing chart and you won't have any problems. A well-made shoe, water-resistant with Vibram soles. These shoes were for our 95lb. Golden...have your video cam rolling when you first put them on your dog-it's hilarious! 2 drawbacks: they tend to get twisted around on the paw when hiking, and if they run full-tilt, get used to hunting for them. Other than that, they are fine for hiking, hot pavement, and recovering from a paw wound. All in all, I'd recommend these for the 3 above uses.
Our labs LOVE LOVE LOVE these frisbees. Very easy on their mouth & even easier for the amateur frisbee thrower! We do not use them just in the water- because the dogs love to be thrown to anywhere! I would recommend buying the RED color over the yellow. I have ordered several of both- but the RED always throws better. Ruffwear does not acknowledge any difference, & I have not ever read it in another review- so I finally just bought enough to prove it to ourselves. You & your dog will have HOURS OF FUN & GOOD EXCERCISE!!
LOVE this leash. It is so handy with the clasp at the handle. You can easily secure the dog for hand free "moments." When I say moments, I mean, do not leave the dog unsupervised as my dog chewed through the leash once. But I loved it so much that I bought another one. There's also a nice loop at the base of the leash for those times when you need a tight rein.

This jacket is perfect for wet, chilly weather. It is rain-repellant and comfortably warm, and looks quite fetching (pun intended) on my Jack Russell mix, who, at 33 pounds, wears a small. It's easy to get on and off and doesn't seem to attract or collect dirt or hair. A useful, good-looking, and apparently well-made product.
Love this collar. Very lightweight for my little jack, since I did not want a heavy collar for him. Fits very well and looks comfy and soft. Love the metal D ring too. Got it in blue but now getting it in black.
My 13 pound ratchi (rat terrier chihuahua mix) has chewed through every harness we bought plus she wiggled out of them. Ruffwear Web Master has given me the ability to relax when I take the dog out. Its easy to put on and it STAYS on. I highly recommend it!
We've been using this pack for many years - I might have an older version than the one here. It is very durable & secure, plus it seems super comfortable even when packed full. My dog isn't a puller, so I haven't had the leash attachment issues that other reviewers have. After all the use (we haven't been gentle) and washings, I haven't had any issues at all. There is tons of room, more than you would need for dog stuff alone while on backpack adventures. The adjustable straps make the pack work for a wide range of doggy sizes. My dog and his friends who have borrowed the pack adjusted almost instantly. Totally worth the money.
I was so disappointed to have to return this item. I have a 30# dog who fits the measurements for the small of this pack. I love the removable packs and the harness fits like a dream. But the bags are way too big for my dog to carry around. They take up about 3/4 of his body! I'm going to try the Approach, but I'm not going to like it nearly as much without the extra features like the removable pack and cinch straps.

This is a great dog collar! The reflection is great and it fits well. The rubber tag that goes between the metal dog tags muffles the clinking sound. The hook for the leash is also strong. Easy to adjust. Comfortable for the dog.
We have had this cooler vest for the past two years and it has made summers in Washington, DC bearable. It gets pretty hot down here and way humid. Without the vest, our dog usually cannot even make it around the block with out stopping to cool off. A few times we've had to carry all 65lbs of him home. Now we can go for normal length walks and he can even play at the dog park without overheating. Before a walk, I hold it under the faucet, get it thoroughly wet and then put it on him. I also carry a Nalgene and pour water on the vest to keep it wet - which is where it gets its cooling capability. At the end of a long walk, I will often put my hand under the vest and his back is always surprisingly cool. The water keeps him cool by evaporating from the vest much the same way sweat evaporates from a person's skin. It's really pretty neat. This past summer a bunch of people at our dog park purchased a vest after they saw how lively our dog was compared to all the other dogs just lounging around. No one wants to take their dog to the park only to have him return to the house with tons of energy because he was too hot to play. Anyway, the only problem really is the strange looks you get for putting a coat on your dog in 98 degree weather. Sometimes I feel a little self-conscious about it, but nobody's called animal control on us yet!
Most jackets for dogs aren't really meant to be functional. They are meant to look cute. Usually the coats don't even cover the dog's chest, only the back. We know that it is important for humans to keep their chest and core warm in cold conditions, so why would it be different for our canine friends. If you follow the sizing chart, this lower stretchy fleece portion should fit snuggly around the dog's chest (like in the image above). The top is a rip-water-wind resistant durable fabric. Our dog has been snowshoeing, xc skiing, etc. for the past five winters in this coat and it is still in excellent condition. He's a boxer-pit mix and pretty hairless on his stomach and legs. This coat makes it possible for us to take longer treks with him. Also, I think he looks pretty slick in his super high-tech coat. Last thing, the sizing chart is spot on. Medium sized dogs - 50-65lbs (you know, the dogs that little dog people think are the biggest dogs in the world) actually wear a size medium with RuffWear - not an XL as they would with a costume dog coat at a chain pet-store.

We bought this overcoat for our dalmatian for our daily walks in the rain. He loves it, and now gets excited to put it on because he knows we are going for a walk. I like the way it is designed to cover his chest and back with a snug fit. There are two adjustable straps with elastic that help with the fit. The buckles are neatly enclosed in two side panels that prevent the buckles from rubbing his fur. The neckline is low enough not to interfere with his choke chain and collar. The material is very high tech and repels the rain. Follow the sizing instructions. I measured Spot's chest. He was 1/2 inch from the maximum of the large. I ordered the XL thinking it would fit better. It was way too big. So I re-ordered the size they recommended based on his chest measurement and it fits perfectly. I am very pleased with the quality and design of this product. It also appears to be very durable. I would highly recommend.
This has an elastic bungee and a hand handle close to the neck when need to pull your dog close. The width is too narrow, such that if your dog pulls very hard, it puts more pressure on your waist. In my case my chow chow pulls so hard the waist actually hurt my lower back. The plastic buckle broke after about six months of use. I was able to return it with Zappos' generous return policy.
I love this collar! It is lightweight, but sturdy. It dries really quickly after my pup takes a plunge and seems to be wearing really well. We've had it about two months and it looks just like new. The lotus flower looks a bit like a watermelon from afar, good for girl dogs in spring. Probably not a good boy dog choice.
Awesome leash! We bought a 10mm for our older dog about five years ago and just bought a small for our little 10 lb Brussels Griffon. They're rugged, durable, and stylish. The reflective quality is very handy, particularly on dark winter nights. The locking carabiners provide confidence that they won't open accidentally. The bag loop is very convenient. I'm a rock climber, so I know the 10mm rope is strong enough to hold a small car, so it will definitely hold a large dog. I'm sure the 7mm will hold any size dog as well.

High quality leash with which I am completely satisfied. Zappos web site is among the best, almost as good as Amazon's.
First, the color is much prettier than in the photo! It's a bright rich green. The photo here looks like Ruff Wears older version of this collar (which has release clip). There is a design flaw, in my opinion, which is why I sent it back. There is no way to clip the collar on/off. You can only loosen it, slip it over the dog's head, then tighten it. I like to take my dogs' collars off to swim and to use slip leads. Ugh, couldn't imagine having to go through trying to resize this each time, let alone put the dog through that. However, if you are the type to leave the same collar on a dog, this is awesome and worth every penny!

Ruff Wear. In the summer of 1992, while mountain biking in the Los Padres National Forest with friends and their dog, Ruff Wear founder and president Patrick Kruse met with a challenge that sparked a series of innovations in gear for dogs on the go.
