Rebecca Minkoff Reviews
These are absolutely beautiful sandals! Vibrant colors and excellent quality, however I found the straps across the toes to be a tad narrow and the sandals were half a size too small. Thanks to Zappos' wonderful customer service I was able to exchange them for a larger size with no problems! I am thrilled!
This bag is adorable. I was looking for a gray handbag (gray is my black) with a structured shape that can stand up so I don't have to lie it down. The satchel style with short handles is perfect because I've stopped carrying bags on my shoulder (it hurts my spine and the strap gets caught in my long hair). The size is perfect, and the metal studs and zipper add an edge to this elegant and classy style. The leather is fine and soft. I will not be using the optional shoulder straps, but it is nice to have. I never heard of this designer, and will be looking for her other designs in the future. It is important for me to have unique accessories, and with this handbag, I will not look like a clone of other women in this town.
These Rebecca Minkoff sandals are gorgeous and perfectly minimalist (a little decadence with the rose-gold patent leather doesn't hurt) and fit true to size. In my experience wearing them over the past month, I've found that the wraparound ankle strap tends to rub against my ankle bone. The friction requires that I wear band-aids on both ankles to avoid direct contact with the buckle. Sizing down isn't an option for me; however, my feet are true size 5's and the ankle strap may rest higher on my ankle than it does for most people.
I really like this bag, it is small but holds a lot. It has inside compartments for a phone and another one that I have used for a camera. My only complaint is that my hair gets caught in the studs on the strap and it pulls out a lot of my hair! Every time I wear it I have to pull a bunch of hair out of the studs. That is kind of gross I am sure for other people to see a purse with a bunch of hair caught on it.
Love these shoes, cute and comfy. Very durable, wore them outside at a music festival and they were easy to clean afterwards. Cheaper shoes probably would have been destroyed.
I bought the NAVY limited edition version of the MiniMac. It is cute, small, but pretty roomy. I have enough space to fit in my iphone, small wallet, ipod, among other things inside with no problem. The only issue I have with this particular color (it hadn't done it with my other), is that the NAVY metallic seems to rub off pretty easily, leaving these ugly silver spots on the bag. I've only used this specific color a few times, and it's already coming off.
Just got the bag not only 10 seconds ago. Was on sale which makes it more beautiful. The magenta/purple color is bright, brilliant and exciting. It's a color that goes all year long and can give any "all black outfit" a color blast. The other colors are at full price and if you are in love with a certain color, buy it, you won't go wrong with the beautiful leather of the bag. I don't pay full price for anything but if I could only find the bag at full price, it's one of those "investment purchases."
These are very cute shoes and I think they are well made. I found that the stitching on the toe strap is very painful and the leather is stiff. The shoe feels about a half size larger than marked. The elastic band makes getting the shoe on and off a breeze but they are not the ones for me. I'm still looking for the perfect summer sandal.
Cute sandal but tried them on at home and they were TOO slippery, the leather sole felt dangerous! Really great sandal but would need Togo to shoe repair BEFORE wearing for some rubber.
Got the periwinkle one in the mail today and I love it! It matches with pretty much anything. And service from Zappos was great as usual. Got it in less than 24 hours! I am 5'9 and do wish the strap was just 2 inches longer as a cross body, but I still love and and know I will get good use out of it!
I am amazed with Zappos. I placed my order less than 24 hours ago, and my bag has already arrived! The Large Affair is a gorgeous bag. I purchased the one in Charcoal with the diamond quilting and studs. It is indeed large, and can hold quite a bit of stuff, but the bag itself is quite heavy so you may want to be selective with the items you choose to put in there. I don't think the bag looks good stuffed, anyway. For this same reason, I don't see myself wearing the bag crossbody, but it is very nice to have that option.
I really like this bag. The size and shape make it a perfect beach bag. The color is great for summer and it is true to the picture. It is a canvas bag so I do think it is a bit over priced. There is also only one inner pocket and no way to zip or button the bag shut, so things can shift around and fall out. But it is just such a cute bag that I cannot help but love it!
I actually love the bag I just don't like any of the colors. I'll buy it when a new round of colors comes in.
After extensively looking for a particular color leather bag, this was my final decision. The reviews were definitely helpful, but I disagree that the bag fits 'tons of stuff.' Everyone is different and has their own opinions, taste & size (I'm 5'9" & 150lbs), so I like & prefer a large bag. The style is definitely unique & I, too, have received a nice amount of compliments. I just wish it were a tiny little bit larger. Regarding the chain, I don't find it to be heavy at all, in fact, its the nicest part of this bag & does not slip off my shoulder - ever! I'm definitely keeping it, but its probably one of the smallest 'daytime' bags I've carried in years (so I've been carrying an extra tote with me daily). Overall, I think this is a beautiful Spring into Summer leather handbag.
These are absolutely gorgeous shoes. They look and feel expensive (which is good because they are) and luxurious. They look very delicate and feminine. The persimmon color (nude and orange) is colorful enough to add a pop of color to a black outfit but is also neutral enough to go with more colorful outfits. I haven't worn them outside yet but cannot wait to wear them for real! I've never bought this brand before but I'm sold. I'm a 30-something professional that lives in Chicago. I'm normally a 7.5-8 and needed the 8.5 in these as my toes were actually hanging off the foot bed in the 8 so definitely size up. The 8.5 fits well but is definitely not too big.
Needed a new tote that was a decent size but not a fortune, so ordered this one in black. Compared to other ones I've looked at, it's nice. Pros - Well structured, good quality leather, roomy pockets and interior, plus love the lining. Cons - straps are too short for ease of getting over shoulder quickly and I'm a tiny framed women. Definitely not making life-on-the-go easy, but it's the best I've found for the price so it's a keeper.
Love the bag. It's sturdy and nice looking. Holds plenty of stuff. Don't mind the chain-while it is sturdy, I don't mind the weight (and I have some neck and upper trapezius muscle issues). I have carried it both ways; double strap and as a cross body for extended periods of time. It is a good quality leather and is supposed to scratch some. I find the leather tassle/fringes to be somewhat annoying as they get caught up in the strap when you switch it around from long to short and vice/versa but it is a signature for many of her (RM) bags.
I love this bag! It is absolutely beautiful, functional, and practical. Zappos impressed me with their wonderful customer service, replacing the original bag I ordered immediately (since it had been returned defective by another customer). Rebecca Minkoff handbags are great for professional women. I like the price point and the quality. This is my second RM bag and I am certain that I will remain loyal to the brand. Highly recommended.
These are very pretty shoes and, after wearing them for almost a week straight on vacation, they seem to be pretty good quality as well. Unfortunately, they are just not very comfortable. The first time I wore them, the stiff leather had me bleeding. They slowly become more comfortable with the help of band aids and a little breaking in, but I haven't gone back to wearing them since I got home. Hopefully they will get better and softer as I break them in.
I have the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac Clutch in a limited edition print, snakeskin blue with silver hardware. I'm literally obsessed with it. It is perfect to either dress up or down with. It is a fantastic bag because it is convertible; it can be either a cross body or shoulder bag. I am a college student, and whenever I take my bag out I always get compliments on it. It's fantastic!
The shiny metallic colors are more suited to the smaller and/or mini Affair size (for dining and dancing). Would love to see more matte color choices for every day use. I think this Large Affair quilted style could become a classic if they produced it in both neutral and vibrant matte colors. A twist-lock would keep the flap from popping open.
