I've had these Huntress boots now for several years. I live on a farm and wear them hard every day spring/summer/fall (they are just not warm enough for winter here in Ohio, but I didn't expect them to be). So far they are holding up extremely well, much better than any other rubber boot I've had. The Hunter label has worn off (I walk through a lot of brush daily) and I added gel pad insoles for more comfort, but otherwise they are still in great condition. I highly recommend these boots...they may seem expensive at first, but they last way longer than cheaper brands.

Where do I start? Love! That's where I'll start. I love Zappos and I love my shortie hunters! It took me a couple tries to get the exact hunters that I wanted and Zappos was so accommodating every step of the way. They went above and beyond I make me, the consumer, happy. I have recommended them so many times and search them first for any future purchase. Okay, now the nitty gritty! I am a true 7.5 size. I originally ordered the hunter tall gloss in graphite 1, beautiful! Because of all the reviews I ordered a size 7. Perfect fit! You need skinny calves to swear them with jeans. However, I felt my legs would get hot in them so I exchanged for the shorties in size 7. But they were small, I had to heave them on. So I then exchanged again for a size larger. Size 8. They fit great. Size 7.5 would be perfect in the shorties but the 8 is nice so there is enough wiggle room and room for fluffy socks. And they don't look big! I hate going up a size cause then my feet look bigger, silly I know, but these 8 look just as small as the 7. Yay. I live in a mountain town so I also felt that the tall pair looked to "city" and if I lived back in the city I would've kept them probably. The shorties I feel look more like you want to get down and dirty and do some puddle jumping while looking awesome! Love my shorties so much that I have to display them so I can peek at them often. Gorgeous. Just do it. They will last for years!
