Rachel Roy Reviews
I had coveted this shoe for months but was debating due to price. Finally I ordered them. I placed the order at 7pm and the package arrived before noon the next day! When I tried the shoes on they were a bit loose in the straps (I consider myself to be a average 7, not overly narrow or wide). You can adjust them but I didn't like how it looked. Then when I stood up I found them rather uncomfortable. They are a high shoe, although sometimes with expensive ones they feel more comfortable than imaginable. But I felt like they pinched my pinky toes and felt a bit unstable due to the height. I am used to wearing between 3.5-4.5 inch shoes but I would not want to walk a night on the town with these things. The shoe is beautiful though and very well made. I will sadly be returning them.
Love these shoes! I wore them all night with no problem! They were comfortable and I received tons of compliments.
Love these, but they seemed to run small. Returning for a half size larger. Will re-review for comfort once I get the right size!
I love these shoes. I ordered the 9.5 and they were just too big so I sent them back for the 9. This fit is much better. The red is not quite a bright as it is pictured here, it is a much more subtle and natural shade of red. I've worn them with everything and find them to be quite neutral and go with many different outfits- dressy and casual. A perfect summer shoe!

Beutiful shoe and fantastic, unusual fabrication and colors. However, be aware that tan/camel toe and heel are actually patent leather, not smooth, and that naural/ivory portion is a linen fabric, only leather underneath. Not bad in either case, just not as I expected. Sadly thoughth, this shoe is coming back for two reasons. Most importantly the fir is extremely wide through the mid-foot even with lacing more than fully closed and the heel slips right off, while the toe area is cramped enough that I moght have considered sizing up otherwise. Also, the workmanship where the patent leather of the heel joins the snakeskin is puckered, not smoothly sewn, and even reveals a small black spot at the top of one of the heels. Overall , not the quality or fit I expect in a shoe at this price-point. What a shame in a pair this beautiful.
Great style, but the lace-up/snake part would be great for a person with high arches but gaps on me. Although the rest of the shoe fits well for 8.5, the extra "tenting" at the lacing makes the snake part of the shoe gap all around on foot so it slides up and down with walking. I may try the size 8 but this will probably be too small in the rest of the shoe.
Cooler grey color that is less taupe in real life. Painful seam location on both sides of ball of foot, one right on bunion. In my size 11 this heel is over 4.75" high - impossible to wear with jeans or trousers since I already own the longest ones I can find and only my Mother Denims are long enough to wear with these boots. Finally, they are made in China, same as the far less expensive boots I ordered at same time. So why is price 3x higher?
Beautiful shoe. However, I couldn't even walk a step without feeling the start of a blister at the inner aspect near the ball of the foot. It seems like the inner side/material should be a half inch wider. I hate to see them go back, but unless I plan to stand like a statue all night, they are impossible to keep.
Love these! They are so sophisticated in person and really very chic. I'm consistently an 8.5 and this was no exception!
