These are the BEST GO TO shoes for my elderly Mom. As her caretaker, I got sick of tying and un-tying her shoes and so did she. These slip right on, are sooo comfortable and have great grip so there is no sliding on floors or surfaces. Easy to wipe clean. The blue detailing keeps them from looking "too geriatric" and gives them a sporty flair.

I bought these shoes for work because I needed something more supportive. I work a job where I'm on my feet for about 8-9 hours. These shoes are comfortable, but tend to rub the bone on the side of my ankle a little weird. I've gotten used to it, but it's still a downside.

Water repellent, the wide width was big enough for my wide feet. The only problem was the lack of any arch support. Fortunately the insole is removable. With the addition of a department store insole this is a nice comfortable winter boot. I wore the new boots all day every day during a week-long trip to Asia. Lots of walking; no problems.

I really wish they didn't label this thing as a "diabetic shoe." I'm still trying to get used to the fact I have Type II diabetes and am not at all sure how this shoe relates to the illness. What I do know about the shoe is that it is comfortable and wide. I am normally a EEE width but I think I should have ordered a narrower shoe. That said, the shoe is very comfortable albeit a bit wide for my foot. I walk several miles each day in these shoes and have no trouble at all. They are even reasonably waterproof for the deep puddles I occasionally encounter. The all black color is a bit utilitarian and institutional looking but the price was right. If you are a fashion person, pay the money and get the two tone version.

Honestly, the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I have a wide foot, and when they say wide, they mean it. I figured it would be easy on-easy off, and a good looking casual shoe, but the comfort was a wonderful surprise!

These shoes are cute and light as a feather. Unfortunately the AA is still too wide for my narrow foot, so back they go! Thanks Zappos for making it so easy.

Love these sneakers! This is the 3d identical pair I've owned over several years. The lace-less entry makes it the perfect shoe for every day casual wear.

Not comfortable at all. No support or padding in the insole. Cute to look at and that's all. Felt cheap. Back they go!

After seeing so many positive reviews, I expected to love these. They are very lightweight and true to size and width and the price is better than many comparison models. Unfortunately, there is little arch or mid-foot support and my toes feel slightly compressed, although I'm not sure why...they seem to have wiggle room. Not terrible, but not good.

I have neuropathy in my feet and I tried to find a shoe but couldn't. Since my condition often appears in diabetic patients, I looked for diabetic shoes even though I don't have diabetes. I found these Village Walkers and decided to try them. It was a good choice. They are comfortable. They didn't cure my neuropathy but they sure make my feet rejoice.

Great support shoe, didn’t notice the smell people mentioned, great looks too. I wish I could be happy here, but I’m not. I’ll bet this is the best three season shoe Zappos sells, flat out amazing, what is not amazing it walking in snow or ice. It’s like walking on rollerblades, perfect show for everything else.

Lightweight, perfect heel, fit my orthotics and the narrow fit pretty good - one shoe does feel tighter than the other, but I wear a thin sock in that one. I don't really care for the zippers in the back, though. Makes it harder to get the boots on and off. I have another pair of Propet that are a little more comfortable, but these do have Scotchguard to keep them clean, so that sort of balances it out.

I love this shoes the moment I put it on. So lightweight and comfortable. Size is perfect. I'm buying another one for my sister.

I normally wear a 7 to 7.5 wide. I ordered 7-1/2 W and it feels like a whole size small, and not really that wide either. Sending back.

I was very pleased with these boots. I have a hard time findings ones that fit because I need a little extra room in the front and these were fine.

Much larger than required. The sides need to somewhat rigid. I put them on and they fall off for my feet. Very good for most people with swollen feet.

Love these booties! I live in a the CO mountains and needed something that was waterproof, comfortable and not heavy or clunky - these fit the bill perfectly! Ordered up 1/2 size because of my wide foot - then a perfect fit.

Great shoes. Bought for elderly aunt who has edema on one foot and leg. Her other shoes were getting tight and I was afraid she wouldn't be able to wear them much longer. These shoes fit great and there is a lot of growing room in case swelling gets worse. And she loves the look of them. And says they are real comfortable.

I've only wore them around the house on the carpet, as a test, but so far they seem to be very comfortable, feel and fit great.

I have NEVER reviewed anything on-line, but I have to say this shoe is the most comfortable walking shoe (from the time I first put them on) and I have tried many, that I just had to let others know. I have difficult feet to fit & these are wonderful!!

These shoes were wonderfully comfortable, but too loose around the top. If they were a bit tighter around the top I would certainly have kept them. My feet have very high arches, are very wide, and fairly short. Also have issues with my big toe's largest joint. These shoes ALMOST made the cut. Darn!
