Keen work shoes are the best work shoes that I have found. This is my second pair of Keens. I have own the Detroit and now I am wearing the Albany. I like the shoe comfort and Keen seems to make the best quality work shoe. I am in the freight business so I walk a lot on concrete, pavement, and construction sites. Climbing in and out of the truck and trailer, they work for me.

These are by far my favorite and best safety toe shows I have gotten. I have been a Timberland guy for about 6 years now and transitioned from the Mudsill (Steel) to the Wildcard having bought 2 pairs of each before switching. If it works, why change it? I ordered all off Zappos until recently. I was on Amazon and purchased my most recent Wilcard in the exact style, etc.. When I tried them on at home I realized they were too small and I couldn't stretch them. I returned them at my cost and found that the retailer had taken $10 on the other end out for their shipping. $22 out of my pocket and no boots to show. Never again. I bought the Albany from Keen and wished I had done so years ago. They feel as good as the Newport sandals from Keen. Good sized composite toe box, anti slip sole and comfortable, albeit a little wide, stance. I have not had to put an aftermarket insole in these. They appear to be ultra durable and stylish to boot. Pun intended. Absolutely worth the money and if they weren't, Zappos pays shipping both ways. I like these enough that I will be getting a pair of hikers for after hour's use.

Excellent safety shoe. If you have a wider foot, get the wider shoe! I originally purchased the normal width and the composite toe cut into the side of my foot. I then purchased the wide size and it fits and feels great. Great traction on slippery surfaces and the trademark Keen toe bumper provides a durable surface to extend the life of the shoe.

Very good shoe, absolutely no rubbing, lots of toe room. I wear a 12 in most shoes, but I feel a 11.5 would have been perfect. First time wearing them, I could push my foot all the way forward and fit a finger behind my heal with ease. Something I can do with all my shoes, but once they're broken in, so I'd say a half size smaller will be how to go. Haven't tested out the waterproof material yet, but all my friends swear by these shoes.

I have been wearing safety shoes for over 25 years. Most of them have been Red Wings. They are not what they used to be, so I switched to other brands a few years ago. I wore Keen Atlanta Cool for a year and have now worn the Albany for a month. These are the best safety shoes by far that I have ever worn. Just add the Timberland Pro inserts and they are super comfortable. I have the wide EE.

The shoes are good looking, the sizing correct but most of all the service: I barely placed the order and the shoes were delivered.

I have only worn Keens for 7.5 years. I have the fastest paced job and I'm running all day in and out of my delivery truck. My new job requires a safety toe shoe so I ordered these before I start. I've had them on my feet for 4 hours and they feel like I've been wearing them for months. Keen is my shoe again!

The Zappos experience was great. It's difficult finding WIDE 12's at local stores so I turned to Zappos for my first shoe shopping experience. I bought two pairs of shoes: Running sneakers and hiking sneakers. They arrived so quickly that I was surprised and very pleased. The running sneakers (Avia A5679M) were well priced and fit very comfortably. The hiking sneakers (Keen Utility Albany pictured) are steel tipped, which I missed in the description, and fit relatively comfortable. There is a slight snugness around the perimeter of the steel cowl(?), but it is not painful. Overall I had a great experience.

I am on my feet all day in a automotive shop so support and comfort are important to me in a shoe. I found these shoe offer both. I would definitely buy another pair. Also they are made very well.

Replaced my well worn 10 year old work shoes. I have other Keen boots and shoes and love the design. These shoes are roomy, the composite cap is wide, comfy footbed. These feel great right out of the box and I expect another decade of use.

Solid work shoe. Only small imperfection I found was the 'S' shape rubber detail on the sole peeled off both shoes within the first month. Otherwise, the shoe lasted a good 8 months of daily use outdoors.

Nice shoe. Heavy duty - it's more heavy duty than it appears in the picture. It's comfortable (although my keen sandals are a bit more comfortable. They run a little (but not hugely) large. The arch support is good, but not as much as I'd hoped.

These shoes are great. I work in pretty hazardous conditions and am on my feet all day. The shoe is comfortable all day long, my feet do not fatigue as easily. They are very good at withstanding abuse and have had various chemicals such as skydrol on them. The only reason I am giving an overall rating of 4 stars is they are a bit pricey and have not yet made it to the lasting mark yet, I hope to get about 7-8 months out of them. On that note though, they have lasted 5 months so far and show that they will last quite a bit longer. I am very hard on my shoes and they only thing aside from normal wear which has happened has been a couple of blown stitches, but I chalk that up to get caught on sharp objects. Even after beating them up for 5 months they still look good and the sole has plenty of life. They also make you feel that your foot is protected, and it is! They have saved me a good toe smashing a few times. Overall a great shoe which I would recommend to anyone needing a comfortable, light weight, safety shoe.

Well constructed shoe. Definitely a work shoe and not a casual shoe. They're pretty bulky and should be classified as a short boot. If you're looking for a shoe for on the job site, this is it.

I love Keen shoes because of their durability and comfort. It does not hold true with these. Perhaps the cushion could not be as good because of the safety or electrical ratings, but this shoe is lacking in the normal cushion.

I got these for free through my works shoe program. I work in a warehouse that requires steel toes and these things are TERRIBLE! They rub against your ankle and rub your skin raw even with good socks on. Do your feet a favor and stay away from these!

After prolonged usage of this shoe I noticed increased foot pain and even some nail deformation. I wish I'd noticed it sooner, but unfortunately they were already worn in a bit or I would definitely have returned them. Buyer beware.

I have had these for just over 6 months.the sides ripped in both shoes.when I called they said it was beyond 6 months so there was nothing they could do.But the lady did ask if I would like to order another pair.why would I do that,i never had this happen to any shoes before.I bought the composite toe because I'm an Electrian.I'm not happy that the answer I got, probly won't order from here or buy jeans again.

I can't remember, I may have left a review, but please consider this one thing: it finally rained and they are not waterproof! In fact, I think they soak up water faster than my socks! They fit a half size larger than regular shoes, so if you're a 12, you'll need a 11.5. So overall, if they were labeled as not waterproof, I would give them a 4.5-5 based on the gigantic toes. Because they are labeled as waterproof, I give them a 1. Wet feet overall suck at a 1, comfort goes out the window when they're wet, so that makes it a 1, and style, well, it's hard to look stylish when you're frowning all da.. Oh, and the toes are gigantic. So I give the style a 1 also. I will be giving Zappos an email.

Nice comfortable shoe, but started to come apart after one week, the stitching gave way at the front flex point.
