These are great shoes! I was really uncomfortable with those expensive inflexible shoes that I was wearing before. You guys have the best service of anyone. When we telephone, you let us talk to a real person - one who is pleasant and willing to do whatever it takes. It is wonderful! My wife and I both love Zappos!

Thank you for allowing me to write the review. This is the first time I purchased a shoe through Zappos and I am totally satisfied with both the shoe and service. They arrived in a short time and the shoes look and feel great. Totally pleased with this experience and may never step foot in a shoe store again.

These shoes arrived promptly, fit properly, and were just what I wanted and expected. I had been unable to find them in any local store I visited.

I have a narrow long foot. It is nearly impossible for me to find shoes that truly fit in any store. These shoes come in narrow (B) which is great. They are not very dressy but are perfect with jeans or khakis. As another poster says, the toe is a bit clunky but fine for casual wear. I also have low arches and find that these shoes accommodate a narrow Birkenstock arch support insert under the stock foot bed quite well. The fit and finish on these shoes is as good as it gets for not too expensive shoes. I would recommend these to anyone else who needs good casual shoes.

Choosing shoes used to be easy. Back in the the day, Rockport offered just a few styles, all good looking and comfy. Styles have proliferated in recent years, and the search for a basic, classy dress shoe has become much more complicated. As dress shoes go, this is a bit on the "clunky" side, not as refined-looking as some. Maybe it's that squared off toe. I would have preferred something a bit rounder, but not too elongated, but I couldn't find that particular needle in the haystack. And these don't seem quite as supple as my last pair of Rockports. Overall: falls a bit short on both styling and comfort, but perfectly okay.

Comfortable shoe but stains very easily. also absorbs dampness through the sole. I would not buy it again.

I already had a pair of Rockports in black, for several years now and I still use them regularly. I've had them resoled once, and I've probably put over a hundred miles through them and weeks of dancing in total. So it's safe to say this pair had a preceding reputation to maintain: and they did not disappoint. I spent an evening or two wearing them around the house to break them in before taking them for a night swing dancing. They felt (and still feel) as comfortable as a pair of tennis shoes. The only irritation I felt was at the back: some chafing on my Achilles Tendon. This area was broken in by the second night I wore them. Putting a preemptive bandage or piece of athletic tape there would eliminate to only negative experience I've had with this shoe. This is a great shoe for business, formal, and casual. Simple, not gaudy. Professional. Conservative. Highly recommended.

These are very nice, solid work shoes for the office. I wear them with Dockers and they work great. I am in manufacturing so I have a lot of time on my feet. They are comfortable and worked perfectly just out of the box. They are solid shoes.

Very comfortable and workable for the office or every day wear. I wear them up to 18 hours per day.

Comfortable shoe, goes well with Dockers. I would not wear these with wool slacks, though. Toe comes to a 90 degree angle almost. Not fancy, but very nice. Comfortable shoe, nice look, average price.

I've always wanted a pair of Rockports, and now I am very glad I finally have a pair. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I would most definitely recommend these to friends and family.

In addition to looking sharp, this is a very comfortable shoe. With it, you can dress up or dress down.

The product was exactly was what was pictured and what was stated. Very comfortable, light weight. I'm satisfied.

I bought these shoes for my husband, who would never write a review. I can tell you that he wore them to work the next day and came home telling me how comfortable they were. There was no break-in time for wear.

Good looking shoe. Ages nicely - no major creases so far. Also quite comfortable and light. Pleased with my purchase.

Roomy toe box. Seems durable. I like very much...although it is rather plain in design which is not an issue if that's what you are looking for. Good shoe!

I could not be more satisfied with these shoes. They arrived on time and feel wonderful. I had them shipped directly to my work and tried them on as soon as they arrived. Right out of the box they were so much more comfortable than my other shoes. I have an odd shoe size, so it is a bit difficult to find shoes that fit properly. These shoes not only fit properly, they do not even have to be broken in. This is the only place that I will be purchasing my shoes in the future.

Shoe looks nice, comes in wide widths, feels good at first wearing although wore a small sore spot on one heel after a whole day of wearing. Consistent Rockport quality.

Nice shoe. Fits well. The pair will last a long time. Only complaint was that I could only wear them a half day the first day to break them in. Also, the shoe laces do not stay tied. Oh well, I can replace them.

These shoes are very nice for the price! Much more comfortable than I thought they would be. They broke in after only a couple days, and are now my favorite shoes to wear to the office.

I am very happy with these shoes, especially the EE size. I have had a similar style for several years and they have looked good and been comfortable. I am ordering a second pair right now!

Great shoes and they look really nice. But they do run a little narrow. Arch support could be better.

Rockports have the width I need (8.5 4E) but look much more dressy than casual running shoes. I am not embarrassed to extend my legs on the dentist's chair and silently show them off. Ditto for meetings with other professionals.

As I wear a size 11B I have always had difficulty in finding shoes that fit. Rockport fills that gap. This order was to replace the same Rockports that I had and the only reason I replaced them was because their soles are not replaceable. But since I got four + years from the last pairs, not a concern. In short, they fit, they are comfortable, waterproof and they wear hard. Good shoes for the money.

This is the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever worn. They are true to size. I walk all day in these and my feet are not sore at the end of the day.
