Most comfortable boots I have ever owned! Lets just see if they are as tough as they are good looking though. Definitely a half size larger than maked though...

Best shoe I've ever owned - I saw someone wearing these on the street and asked about them. He said "I got them across the street. You'll never want to take them off!" He was right. Two years later--after wearing them almost every day--They're still serving me well. Dirty but still comfortable.

The reviews are right! I read the reviews on these boots and was impressed that most were very complimentary about the comfort of the Active Alaska. They were right! From the moment I put them on they felt great. They are a little hot on my feet, but as they break in that seems to be better. You will love them!

This is the third pair we have purchased, not because the other two wore out, but we are afraid they will change the design and this one will disappear. This is the best boot for walking and working comfort that I have ever had no matter what the cost.

I have always been wary of trademark products, but out of interest I tried this boot. To my astonishment, it felt like a glove. Beautifully soft and supple. I bought a pair and am I glad I did. They are the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. You almost forget you are wearing them; they are so comfortable, they feel like slippers. I have walked 50 miles in a day and my feet have been as comfortable at the end as the beginning. I have had to use a waterproofing wax, as the leather is so soft, but otherwise they have presented no problems at all. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Great everyday boots and low-level walkers, but sole not quite stiff enough for approach walking. Get a pair, you will not regret it!

I have owned six pairs of Cats and will keep buying them. I have flat feet and most shoes/boots do not give me enough medial support. Usually I have to use an insert or orthotic for my footware. With Cats I do not have to, and this boot is no exception. I have owned two pairs of boots, sandals, and shoes. They all lasted more than twice as long as similarly priced footware. This boot fits like a glove, if that makes any sense. Actually it fits like a high end cross-country or back-country boot. It is very supportive, yet comfortable and I suspect the aggressive treds makes it very functional. If you order these or any other Cats keep in mind they run a SOLID half size larger. I have already ordered another pair, so order while this model is still available.

Wow, these are fine boots - Stylish casual / mountain / street fashion style boot, with great build quality (double-rivited eyelets, Goodyear soul etc..). I had a pair of Colarado's which lasted 5 years of daily wear, so I knew I was in good company when pulling these from their black and yellow box. These are good for climbing as they have an aggressive tread, and they also look darn fine!

Good Sneaker/Boot Hybrid - First Caterpillar shoe I ever bought. I have since bought another pair of Cat's, their "Mortar Boot" Quality consctruction and relatively comftorable. I honestly really liked them. Cat has since become my favorite brand for boots. Beware though, their sizes run a little large. I'm a 13 in Nike, 12 in New Balance, and a 11 in Cat's boots. Really wish the industry would get its act together with the sizes.

Very comfy, durable warm shoes. Caterpillar makes best machines and engines. You got to walk up to your truck and excavator with great shoes too. Dirt and mud.

Had these boots for a week now and I have to say they are comfortable. If ordering a pair, make sure to order at least a half size smaller. Hoping they stay comfortable and if so over the next six months I will order another pair.

Received these on August 10 of 2012, and wow, this has got to be the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. Now it is November and half the heel of the boot is gone. 4 months of wear, really. But hey, they're still comfy.

These felt very cheaply made, compared to an equally priced pair of Merrell boots. Usually boot laces are way too long and you have to cut them to size and reapply aglets, but these were far too short to tie a decent knot even when strung up as tight as I could get them. On that note, these must have been placed by a blind person who was born without feet. The eyelets were grouped too closed on the top of the foot with a huge gap between the ankle support. This makes the tongue have a large loose portion in the middle, with no adequate support bridge to the ankle hooks. These are bad boots, they are just really poorly designed all around.
