We have only had these for a few weeks, but so far we love them! My daughter is required to wear hard-bottom slippers in school, so they are worn 6 hours/5 days a week and have stood up to an active 5 year old. She can get them on by herself and loves the girlie style options. They are very soft and not too warm like some slippers can be. We love them and bought an extra pair in the next size to have on hand when she outgrows these. They do run a full size small even without socks, so buy one size up!

These are such a cute and comfortable shoes, but unfortunately they are not a functional. After only eight days of wearing, the soft fabric separated from the sole part of the shoe preventing my daughter from wearing them. She is only 4½ and only wears these in her Montessori class so there is not a lot of crazy activity such as running to cause this problem. Besides, that is what shoes and slippers are for! I saw a few a reviewers mention this very same problem happened to them and I was hoping it was not the norm, but now I am writing to say that it is true. These shoes are horribly made and will not last. Zappos' customer service was exceptional as usual, so no problem there. Look for different slippers and pass these up!

Don't buy these! They fall apart within a few uses. Plus, they have a label sewn right on the inside sole of the slipper that bothers my daughter, so she will only use it with thick socks.

Unfortunately same situation as seen here a few times. Very cute, comfortable, functional but the sole separated from the top after 3 months of wear (at school a couple of hours 3 days/week).
