I ordered 5 pairs of shoes for my almost 3-years-old son to try on. He needed a second pair of sneakers in case his other pair got wet or needed cleaning. When I pulled these out of the box, he gasped and said, how beautiful! He wanted to put them on right away. He wouldn't even consider any of the other shoes I ordered. So we kept them. The sole is very flexible. The top of the shoe is a little loose on his foot, like it's made for kids with wide dinner roll feet. He has big feet for his age (he's wearing a 9.5) but his width is normal. But the strap across the top keeps them securely on his feet. I figured better a little big than a little small. They must be comfortable, because they are the first thing he asked for when he woke up in the mornings following their arrival. Now he won't wear his other pair of sneakers. Very cute style. The colors coordinate with most of his clothes. My husband likes them too. They've gotten dirty but the white toe cap cleans up nicely.

My son loves these! Very stylish. The elastic band (colorful part) secures the shoe on the foot, which is good, but it does make it a bit tricky to put on. Perfect for my son who has narrow, skinny feet, but not for chubby feet with high arches.
I'd also recommend: Stride Rite, Merrell Kids (better for wide feet)

My son loved the green version when he saw it but we decided to send it back. The tongue is very soft canvas and kept folding under when he put his shoe on. He just isn't coordinated enough at 3 1/2 to get it out. The shoe is nice and wide. You could probably order up a 1/2 size because the shoe comes with an extra padded insert that can be removed. Very nice and would potentially let your child wear this shoe for a longer peroid.

Pediped, we love you! Our son is 2 1/2 years old and he has been in Pedipeds since he started walking. He is picky about shoes, and I can't blame him because his foot is wide and his arches are high so many brands/types of shoes don't fit his feet. He just graduated out of the Pediped Grip n' go shoes sizes and is into the Flex shoe sizes. These shoes are adorable, receive compliments, are durable, and comfortable. The inserts that can be placed in the shoe to make the shoe a 1/2 size smaller (come with the shoes for free) are wonderful. He will stay in one pair of shoes for over 6 months even with growing feet. I wish they had well made, cute, comfy shoes like this when I was a kid! The price is great too for the high quality of materials, workmanship, and attention taken to keeping these shoes safe for growing feet.

I love these shoes. My son said they are really comfortable and they are obviously really cute. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them, too. They do scuff up easily, but I just wipe them down with a baby wipe and they look great. Like most 3 year old boys, my son is certainly not pristine, but they have held up nicely despite being worn almost daily.
