This is such a beautiful shoe! However, the ankle area is poorly constructed. The bow area should have been made to be adjustable. Unfortunately it isn't adjustable and there was almost 2 inches around my ankle that made the fit look horrible! Makes me sad to return these! I so wanted them to fit and keep!
Beautiful shoe but the heel was a bit to high for my 5'9" frame. I had to take them to a wonderful shoemaker and he added a little front platform ...a 1/2 inch makes a big differenc; anything more than the 1/2" would have unbalanced the shoe and have me tilting backwards. The padding is great but the ribbon should have been adjustable as my ankles have a lot of room and I by no means have small ankles, but they are not of the "cankle" variety either. Get a nice pedi and enjoy!
