Orthaheel Reviews

I really loved the style, wanted these to work so bad, but the strap over the foot was too wide and they couldn't be adjusted. Love the foot support in these. I've tried others but Zappo Orthaheels are the best.
Amazing! I have been having issues with my arch support and feet aching, etc. Have tried several types of shoes & various brands. These have improved my foot problems tremendously. I wore for an hour or two for the first few days and gradually increased the time and now I wear all the time. I have also tried the Orthaheel house slippers and love them as well. I am about to order a pair of the Orthaheel Flip-flops for my husband.
I'm a size 9 and ordered a 9 and it fits fine. Arch support is outstanding. (I have very high arches.) Width seems good, but hard to tell because no matter what, I can adjust the upper straps. I ordered these instead of the mule type slippers because of that reason. I go up and down stairs a lot and wanted the slippers firmly attached to my feet. Loose slippers could send me flying. Zappos was great. I received the slippers in a brief amount of time. I will continue to use Zappos in the future. This seems like a good, well made product. It is the second pair of Orthaheel shoes I've bought and I am very pleased with their quality and comfort. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs good arch support.

I love the concept behind Orthaheel. However, they need to improve the quality control of their product. The footbeds vary wildly between styles, as do the sizes of the styles. I have ordered many, many pairs of them from Zappos, only to have kept one. Inconsistent sizing and poor quality.

Have a high instep and the shoes were recommended by my Physical Therapist. Also purchased insoles for my other shoes. They are great! Shoes run a little large so I suggest 1/2 size down.
Love these super comfortable slippers! The arch support is fantastic. I especially love that they are cruelty-free, made without wool.
These shoes are perfect. They eliminate my metatarsal and plantar fasciitis pain. I wear them non-stop (when appropriate) and plan to buy more Orthaheel shoes.
As usual these sandals are comfortable and stylish. I walk all over town and have had no problems. Love the color and have receive many compliments on them. They didn't have my size so I took a chance and went up a size and they worked out fine. Have not regretted purchasing them.
My husband says this is the most comfortable shoe he has ever worn! Before finding this brand, he would only wear Kalso Earth shoes. He says the Orthaheel provide more arch support and stabilizes his heel and foot better. I just wish they would make more styles...especially dress shoes.
Do not order these shoes! I should have listened to the reviews and not ordered these shoes. I ordered them and I regretted it. I have plantars fasciitis and arthritis in my big toe. I cannot wear my custom orthotics with these shoes. My heel pops out when I walk. Because finding shoes for work has been the bane of my existence, I tried these shoes without the orthotic and used the insole that came with them. It is all right, moderate arch support - not great though. However, then the shoes pinched across the front of my foot (pinky toe to big toe). I asked my podiatrist about this and she said it is because these shoes do not bend naturally at the toes, but rather at the middle of the foot. I tried to return them to Zappos but cannot because they are worn.
My first high arch support slipper! The fabric is very soft yet this construction is super supportive to my arch. Immediately, I believe there is some relief to my low back pain, but time will tell after making this my new house slipper. I followed other reviewers' suggestions to order a smaller size than usual. The length for me is perfect but the width is crowding out my little toes which are of course in a very softly covered space. Hoping it will give a little with wear. There is a velcro adjustment for the width but not making a difference to the somewhat narrow platform on which my little toes rest.
Wow, what a great minimslist sandal. The arch support can't be beat and the look while very minimal yet fairly supportive and comfortable. The design of the thong that goes between the toes is smooth and well made, although the shoe as a whole caused my feet to push forward too much causing me to feel very uneasy about my toes. I felt the sensative that my foot would split open the first moment I slipped or stumbled. I'm not really a flip flop lover, but any person who lives, loves flip flops has to give this a try for its arch support.
Very cute, comfortable mule. My only problem with it was the flip flop smacking sound as I walked which makes this a non-option for work.
This is the best sandal! So comfortable & with great arch support. Never required any break in time, comfy right away. I have an older pair of orthaheel sandals with a fake cork looking bottom, and the material they used for the sole is so hard compared to these. They are softer but still have good support. I have lots of foot problems including plantar fasciitis and haven't been able to wear sandals (except for Chacos) in a long time. The Mia is a cute causal/dressy sandal. I bought the bronze and pewter colors.

These shoes have a hard cork sole. I am still wearing them for short periods in my house hoping that I will be able to keep them. The jury is still out right now. I love the way they look! I'm hoping as my feet improve from wearing my other Orthaheels, that I will be able to wear these.
I love this shoe, but unfortunately I can't wear it! The first pair I ordered was a size 8, my normal size in Orthaheel shoes. It was way too big. I could stick my whole finger behind the heel. I ordered a 7.5 and it fit great except for the strap. For people whose feet swell during the day, the strap is no long enough. I can barely get the strap across my foot in the morning and by the afternoon, it starts popping off! Have to send these back. So sad!
I say this is a great way to get arch support! I received them right away thanks to Zappos quick ship, and mi put them in my shoes that didn't have a very good arch support and right away relief. I'm a Hairdresser and stand on my feet all day so I highly recommend them!
Very comfy slippers that feel great on my feet. They are not the best looking slippers and my feet get really hot in them, but they are great and definitely worth the money!

I have worn these in the house a couple of times...won't stay on my feet so I will be returning. Plan on trying another style in the same brand as I like the support of the shoe. I have very short narrow feet and have a difficult time getting a good fit as this brand doesn't offer narrow widths.

I love these sandals, the straps adjust for my wide foot and they have a great arch support for my high arch along with looking cute, and no rubbing, and super comfortable for long walks.
I have one other pair of Orthaheel sandals (with the same kind of toe strap) and I love the fabulous support. Unfortunately, this pair was uncomfortable at the toe - it rubbed and irritated me. I did not find the footbed to be overly narrow like some other reviews found. In fact, it was exactly the same as some Clarks and Merrells that I have. Super cute. Too bad they were irritating.

Developed by Australian podiatrist Phillip Vasyli, Orthaheel® footwear is designed to help restore the natural foot function and well-being with every step. Our feet were designed to walk on soft, natural surfaces like soil and sand. Yet today we spend most of our time standing, walking and running on unnatural, hard surfaces. Unnatural surfaces force the feet to roll over to gain contact with the ground, which flattens the arches. The flattening of the arch can disrupt normal knee function and hip alignment.
