The sole is fabulous. I would have needed a size up for comfortable fit on my outer toe box. This Naot sole with the Alegria toebox shape and an 11" shaft would be the winner for life. Anyone listening? Had to return the Tellin.

As is usual for most Naot shoes, these were comfortable and wearable right out of the box. Sizing is excellent with very good arch support. The red is an excellent color that goes with just about everything. My only caveat is that the shoe has a wide band of elastic underneath the criss-cross design that is not adjustable, but is sewn in. I have a high instep and do notice that by the end of a full day I'm ready to get the shoe off as the elastic starts to get just a little tight. If you have a normal foot, you won't have any trouble with it. Overall I'm very happy with both the style and the color.

These shoes sat in my closet collecting dust for over a year before I wore them. Shame on me. Having never worn them before I took them with me recently to Istanbul for 9 days, what a great decision that was! I alternated between these and a pair of Clarks Wave. This shoe is so comfortable, even when it was hot outside, I never had issues with shoe rub. Just comfort through and through and they were great for navigating uneven, cobble stone streets. I received a lot of compliments on them which was a nice bonus. Sorry I didn't wear them sooner but better late than never. One of THE most comfortable walking shoes I've ever had the pleasure of wearing and by the looks of things, after walking miles and miles, they should last a good long time.

Nice, comfortable, strappy sandal that fits well & provides an additional bit of height with its approx. 2" chunky heel & proportionate platform. I've worn this sandal w/jeans, capris. Even danced in them! Easy to put on & take off using either of two Velcro straps. The only negative for me is that the ankle strap is rather long. I wear a size 10 but my ankles are somewhat thin. I find I have to pull the straps tightly around my ankles to get a secure fit. Then, there is a bit of extra ankle-strap protruding. I just tuck it in. Not a big enough problem to cause concern or keep me from wearing them. In fact, as soon as I finish this review, I'm going to put them on again & run some errands.

These sandals are great! The design and workmanship are very nice. The footbed has good arch support and is removable. This is good for me as I have to make a slight adjustment to the pressure points because of a foot problem. I just remove the footbed and adhere orthotic felt pads to the bottom of the sole.

I really like the way these look on, love the color as it makes my legs look longer since they nearly match my skin. That's what I was looking for. However this style fits strangely, I had to take them to a shoe repair and have an entire inch taken out of the ankle strap, and they are still not tight enough. I always buy 38's in Naot and I bought the correct size. They loosened up by using "shoe stretch" spray the first few wearings, with a coat of bandaid blister block under that. No blisters. But the back strap sits lower on the foot than other similar styles, and the silver piece on the back strap turns sideways making the strap even longer. I wish they'd make more styles in this color and maybe refine the fit of this particular shoe. I have a new pair of Kayla's that are also going to have to have some length taken out of the back strap. Is something new going on here? Hmm. That said I'm still wearing these but they feel like they're going to slip off.

I can see how this shoe would not be comfortable for everyone. It has a dramatic curvature at the toe that would not fit every foot. With that said, I found this shoe to be comfortable enough to wear all day at work. It has a cute diagonal strap and some nice fabric detailing. The first time I wore them they were a little tight around the opening, but seemed to stretch out fine after just one wearing. I love Naot shoes and these have the great support I've come to expect from their shoes.

Had one of the shoes not started squeaking a week into wearing them, I too would be raving about them. They provided the comfort and room I needed to heal from a sprained ankle. When the shoe started to squeak I just wanted to fix the problem to continue wearing them. I called Naot customer service (the store manager said she'd heard this before but it was out of her hands) and their rep confirmed that it wasn't an uncommon problem. He advised I remove the inside sole lining and pour talcum powder or, alternatively, put layers of paper under the lining as the squeaking was caused by air pockets between the sole and the lining. I tried both and neither worked. I called back and was told "Well, it might go away". It hasn't, and so they were a total waste to buy.

I love this shoe. It provides good support, is VERY attractive and comfortable. I'm trying to buy more in different colors but Zappos seems to out of stock in my size. I'm looking forward to email notifications when the shoes will be back in stock!

With my problem feet (hallux limitus, bunions, and R.A.) I was ready for a pair of shoes that were more fashionable than my other "so ugly their cute" shoes. These can be cute with work slacks in the summer and boot cute jeans on date night. Unfortunately, they do have two major downfalls for me: 1. When I wear them for extended periods, they can sometimes leave me with a deep ache in my knees. This could just be my back bones, but I think it has something to do with the angle of the heels and the platform. 2. I try to be extra mindful when I were these because of the platform... fearful I will sprain an ankle. I have had several times when I rolled my foot in these. The last time seemed really minor and 1 hour later I was in crazy pain. The next day I was in a boot for two weeks with with a small fracture to a small bone in the top outside of my foot. I will wear them again because I need the style. They will just be my careful/3 hour shoes.

Love these shoes but unfortunately the quality is not good. Elastic stretched out in the back and the shiny black decoration is coming off. I wish I had bought these through Zappos but I found them at a store when I was on vacation. Way too expensive for the shabby quality. This is my third pair of Naot shoes and the second pair that I have had quality issues with. Might be my last pair of Naot shoes. Prices keep going up but quality is going down

I already had this shoe in the copper/bronze color size 39, but this new pair in black fits tighter on the toes. I wore them for about an hour and had to take them off. Please let me try them in the next size larger, sure do hate to have to send them back. They are my favorite and MOST comfortable shoes.

After having problems getting the correct shoe, and by the way Zappos customer service was great to work on it three times, I got this originally ordered shoe and I left on my Ireland trip three days later! I wore it on the planes, walking cement streets and hills on the tour. It was very comfortable, and nice looking! Several compliments too. For me , my orthotics fit in, the toe box was roomy, strap adjustable so even though it was wide for my narrow foot it was comfortable and the heel did not slip. I also have the metallic strap heel pair and they are a favorite. I wear a size 8 and ordered a 39.

I normally wear a size 8 (39) but also ordered the 38 because Naot advises this style runs large and recommends sizing down. Glad I did because the 38 was too short. I've never worn Naots because they're pricey but really wanted something comfortable since I waste so much money giving away my less expensive shoes (and some expensive!) because of one fit issue or another. I will wear them around the house to make sure but so far, so (really) good. Amazing arch support! I don't understand the person who said there was NO support--maybe she reviewed the wrong shoe.

The footbed on this boot is great, wide toe box but the ankle leather rubs into my leg. It is too high in the front - would be nice if it had an angle. I love this shell style and am keeping the SEA. Thank you.

These are very comfortable and relatively stylish. I plan to wear them instead of sneakers or more "orthopedic" looking shoes when traveling where a lot of walking is involved. Plenty of foot support. The silver color is a great neutral and a good alternative to black. Worth the investment.

This is my third pair in this style. They are fabulous. Fits like a glove right out of the box, just feels right on my feet, organic. I have a well worn pair from last year in the black/gray combo that I can walk in all day in the streets of NYC with no fatigue. Once they soften up and break in, they are very comfortable to wear barefoot, with no rubbing at all (because of the smooth leather lining). This new pair is in the Volcano Red, which is perfect for the fall and will look great with jeans.

I got these in black to wear on a European vacation where I needed to give a presentation and then also walk around a city for hours on end. These were perfect. They are fabulously comfortable, and the heel height is perfect -- not too high. Occasionally I have to adjust the Velcro, but it's not a problem. I was able to wear them for hours on end for days at a time in total comfort. I'm not sure about the little leaf decoration thingy; they don't really slide off, but if you want a plain Mary Jane, you could cut them off. I wear a 9-1/2 and the 39 fits perfectly. I wear them with sock liners. Highly recommended!

I wanted to like these shoes but they were just too wide in the toe area (and I don't have a narrow foot) so it looked like my feet were huge. In the picture I thought the style was so cute but they definitely looked clunky. I think other Naot or Keen shoes would be more flattering.

Love these shoes! I purchased in both the black and grey to compare colors and I'm going to keep the black - the grey was just too shiny for me and made my feet look fat. My feet feel like they are walking on little pillows when I have these shoes on. They might not be the most fashionable oxfords, but the comfort definitely makes up for it and they are cuter in person than online.

These shoes are sooo cute in person - I purchased the 'volcanic read leather' and just loved how they looked and that they were extremely light weight. However - they are very narrow - I have an average width foot and could not wear these around the house without definite pinching in the toes. If you have a narrow foot and want some super cute, yet extremely supportive and comfortable shoes then go for these.
