These shoes are FABULOUS! Especially for summer wear, they are breathable and the elastic allows for any swelling of my feet in the humidity. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! More colors please!

Almost perfect walking shoe: Thick sole so cold/wet pavement does not penetrate. High toe box, firm sole...too bad not too much arch support. Strap makes shoe serviceable for a narrow foot.

I love this boot! The fit is fabulous, the height is perfect, and the material is wonderful! A very comfortable boot that looks great on!

Felt loose and larger than the size stated and there is no way to adjust the larger size.

These lightweight boots got me through my first winter in Utah. They are cozy warm with good traction. They look like they are snug on your foot and leg but my jeans tucked in and thanks to the elastic on the boot, my pants legs staying tucked in the boot.

These boots were very comfortable, almost like wearing slippers. I had to buy them for a trip to Alaska at the end of March. It was very cold and these held up pretty well. My feet did get cold after spending too much time in the snow, but the tempertature was below zero. I think these would work great if you are looking for warmth with the temperature in the teens or warmer. These don't seem to have any arch support. My feet are flat, so that worked out perfectly for me. I didn't need to break them in, they were wonderful to walk in all day. Actually, these were the only shoes I wore in Alaska. They got a bit warm in doors, but I dealt with that okay. I have to admit, these are not the cutest boots, but they are much better in person than the picture on the website. I live in a warm climate, so I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to wear them again, but I really wish I could, they are that comfortable! If you like walking in comfy slippers and need some cold weather boots, definitely give these a try.

I got these to replace my slip on Pumas. They are cute and comfortable but, because of the design, make my foot look bigger than my pumas. Not a huge issue since I'm a 7-7.5 but might be an issue for some. A little stiff but probably just an issue of being broken in. True to size in every way. I got a 7.5 but could probably go down to a 7.

I am returning this shoe. I think it is cute but the problem was it just didn't fit well. I wear a straight size 9 medium and the shoe was loose and felt big. My heel would slip so much I could hardly keep my foot in it. Not good.

I really want to keep these shoes but I don't feel secure in them, both heels come out with every step. I'm a size 10 but my feet don't look big in these. The fit and cut on the front of the shoe looks really nice. Even with thick socks my heels keep coming out. I love the weave and considered going down a half size but the fit in front works great as is so I'll try to find a heel guard instead. If not, I'm afraid it will have to go back.

When buying boots I usually buy a 9.5 (I am a size 9) but because of the reviews here I ordered a 9. They fit perfectly, even with thick socks. I would highly recommend them. I only hope the white stays white.

Cute looking boot and comfortable too. I disagree with the other opinions, as if we are talking about different boots. I bought them in lime color but they are too bright not like on the picture, so I have to exchange for a different color. Very stylish, soft, warm. I hope they will work well for my Colorado trip.

I have no idea how comfortable they are because they felt a whole size too small. I couldn't get the size 11 on my size 11 right foot; didn't even try the left foot. Very disappointing, and it seems to be happening with a lot of brands these days.

Very comfy and true to size. A perfect, simple black shoe that I can wear to work and be on my feet all day.

The toe box squishes my toes at the top, yet the heel is too large, and my foot slips out easily. The shoes are cute and the soles provide great cushion, but they are proportionally out of whack to the shape of my foot.

Very cute and warm boot. Easy on and off. The tie comes undone at times. Little to no support. My foot is average width and they felt loose. Great for wearing back and forth to work. I would not walk a great distance in them.

I have wide feet and bunions and need a high toe box in order for my feet to feel comfortable. Shopping for shoes and boots--even sandals--can be a nightmare, but these boots are perfect for me. My foot measures 8W so I bought an 8.5. The first time I wore them I put on medium-weight wool socks and the boots felt a bit too roomy. Next time I switched to heavyweight socks (I recommend Thorlos, available on Zappos) and then they felt perfect. The innersole is so cushiony, it makes these boots feel like slippers. The style is updated but, as one reviewer mentioned, the tie might become problematic as time passes. I'm not going to worry about that now. I'm just going to enjoy wearing these great Mountrek boots.

Bought these for Wifey... She was skeptical of the width of these, wouldn't take my word that these types of boots are made wider than usual. After trying them on, she was later heard saying These boots feel like heaven! I win! Thanks, Zappos!

Great boots. I wanted to buy a pair of boots I can wear in the cold wintery NYC weather that was cuter than UGGS boots. I bought these pair in black. They arrived just in time for tne blizzard that arrived a day later. They are just as comfortable as my UGGS and even though the boots are made of suede-like material, they seem to hold up well in the snow (I did spray them w suede and leather protectant prior to wearing them though). I didn't find any problems with the toe are or arch support. Bottom line, if you find UGGS comfortable, you will find these as well (and they're cheaper and more stylish!)

Love the boot so I am trying it again in a bigger size. It runs very small. Ordered a size 9 because normal shoe size is 8-8.5. I am trying again. This time ordering a 10.

Nice appearance. Pretty comfortable & warm once they're on, but they are a little difficult to pull on. I could never wear them with thick and/or more than one pair of socks.
