This is probably the best fleece I own. I wore it skiing in Colorado and elk hunting in Wyoming as a base layer and it really did a great job. I also wear it a lot on those chilly mornings on the way to work excellent quality.

I bought this for my husband. He loves this brand. Everything that he has that is Mountain Hardwear holds up for several years. This is definitely worth the money. The jacket is light enough to wear with temperature's ranging from 50-60degrees but will also be a great additional layering piece for when we go skiing.

The best softshell/fleece hybrid jacket on the market. This outperforms the only other brand of outerwear I've tested in the mountains, Arc'teryx...and that is saying something. This thing blocks the wind, looks incredible, feels incredible, has enough pockets to hold basic essentials, and fits perfectly. I am 6'1", 180lbs and the large is stuning, not tight, but not baggy. Enough room for a layer, enough cut for a t-shirt. One star docked for cost, but if you search long enough they will go on sale. Please do yourself a favor, throw away every light jacket you own and buy this. It's such a treat to only need one jacket for all but the coldest and wettest conditions.
I'd also recommend: Arc'teryx, Patagonia, Marmot

I purchased this last Christmas for my teenaged son to wear hiking and backpacking and for everyday use. It is the perfect weight for our region (southeast US). It looks great on his slender athletic frame, nicer than a big puffy fleece, and it is great alone or as a layer. I bought a size large (because he's still growing) and so it's a little roomy on him, but it looks and wears very well. Has been through our washer and dryer several times and still looks brand new. Definitely worth the investment. I'm back to by one for my husband for this Christmas (he's been green with envy since last year!)

This is a great jacket, so much a relative of mine left his at a bar, his fault, nonetheless, as it was a gift from me! After whining and complaining how he loved the warmth and movability, not too mention how cool it looked on him, I broke down and bought him a second one! The third will be on him! Great jacket.
