I kind of hate this jacket. It is the most impractical thing I have ever gotten from M hardware. I thought about sending it back after the first try on - but I thought I would get used to it. I didn't. If you are in shape and are active and workout, this is NOT the jacket for you. It's very restrictive across the chest, shoulders, and armpits. Everywhere is fine. It's like a really big shirt with a zipper. Forget about layering with this jacket. Anything more than a t-shirt underneath and your uncomfortable and restricted in a big way. I will find some use for this - like a short hike in drizzle when its 35-45 degrees...or maybe I won't, because that's crap, just like this jacket.

I was looking for a warm fleece to wear around the house and around the neighborhood. I am not an extreme outdoorsman. Just a guy looking for a comfortable fleece. The Monkey Man 200 is exactly what I was looking for. It is very soft and quite warm. I am 5'10", 170 lbs, 40/41 inch chest, 30/31 inch waist and work out a bit. I have an athletic build but am not a body builder type. The Medium fit me perfect as I have no plans to layer under the Monkey. If I did, I would probably have had to buy a Large. I would certainly recommend this product. Please note that it does have a taper cut - which I like. Another fleece to consider is the Patagonia Better Sweater. Between the two fleeces, the Monkey is softer. Both are warm. The Patagonia is probably more durable though.

Something is wrong with the photos. The model is 1/2" taller than me, but we are exactly the same in chest, waist, and shoe size. Yet the size 4 I bought is so big in the waist, the pants can't stay up. I can use a belt, but that only creates gathers under the belt and looks stupid. I think they have the model's measurements wrong.

This is a majorly soft and dense fleece, very warm and cozy. I'm in love. It's very flattering on and covers the hips, forgiving of a tummy, sleeves are plenty long. Best of all, there is a hidden zipper pocket inside the kangaroo pocket!

I thought this was a little short in the rise. I am 5;2" and ordered the large since I don't like it tight. Was glad I did because -- other than being very long, the fit in the crotch was short and rather tight. Nice comfy waistband, however. Loved the fabric and the fleece was just what I wanted. But I had to return them.

I bought these softshell pants for cool weather hiking. The stretch helps when climbing hills. So far, I've been comfortable at 20 F. The fit is good except the 30" length is more like 33"!

This is a great coat--it's wonderfully warm, especially on the coldest days. I am 5'2 and 110, and I ordered a small in this coat. It's a little roomy, but I like it that way so I can wear bulky sweaters underneath. The fabric is somewhat shiny, giving it a lux appearance. I didn't think I was a faux-fur person, but the coat actually looks awesome with the fur attached to the hood. (The hood and the fur are detachable) I've heard this coat is the best value for down puffers, and I'll believe it. The only downside to this coat is that the shoulders are a little bulky on me. I'm okay with that, though. Overall it's an awesome purchase!

Just a note to the tall slim guys out there - the XL fits me well as a 6'8" individual, long enough in the sleeves (normally a 37" sleeve) and body and slim through the body.

Great glove. I love the goat skin on the palms for a better grip than others. Soft on the inside and easy to get on. I'm 5'10, 180 and wear a Large with almost everything, but these gloves in Medium were best fit. Great for mild winter 20-30F but I doubt these will provide the warmth when it gets in the single digits. A bit pricey but hopefully long lasting.

This coat has a lot to recommend it, but none of its good features outweigh its impossible zipper. Even my husband, who can manipulate and fix almost anything, couldn't work the zipper. I tried three of these coats; alas, the zipper was the same on all.

I love Mountain Hardwear coats and still find the one I got years ago is warmer than any other. I was looking for a change from black and this would have been it but for the bright red lining that shows when the neck is open. Plus the zip seemed a bit hard to operate. So unfortunately it's going back.

This is a great fleece jacket. I'm so excited to wear it this winter. It's fitted, flattering, and a lot warmer than most fleece hoodies, and I know it'll work for the cold. Nice colors too! I got the red and it's beautiful.

I wear this coat all of the time! It is just enough of an outer layer, but not too bulky that I mind wearing in/out of stores, etc. The only thing that bugs me a bit is the tightness around the armholes. My watch and/or bracelets get stuck but again, just a minor complaint!

The fabric of these pants is very nice - a good weight but stretchy so very comfortable and warm. Probably too warm to use as yoga pants but perfect for lounging and casual wear. I am 5'1" and 107 lbs and the XS fits me well. Too long in the leg but I am used to having to hem most pants. I expect to wear these a lot this winter.

This shirt is great! I returned it in favor of another color but the fabric was lightweight and soft. The best part, I think, is the flattering cut. The side seams have just enough shaping so that the shirt is sporty and functional, but actually acknowledges that women like to look like women! The buttons also didn't gap along my bust, like so many button-down shirts. I am 5'11", 170 lbs, 34DD and the 12 fit great.

I'm 5' 11", 145 lbs, and I think these are great. The 34" inseam covers my ankle. It can be hard to find pants that are long enough for me, so I'm glad they offer the 34" inseam! They've got the right amount of curve to them, so they're a little bit stylish, but they still look and perform appropriate for serious camping. I've worn them rock climbing on a surprisingly warm late September day, and was still comfortable in the low 80s. I've worn them to stand and cheer as a marathon spectator in high 40s, lots of wind, and was pretty comfortable. I need more excuses to get out and wear these!

I just got these in and already I love them. I am primarily using them for backpacking. I cannot stand the feel of fabric not moving with you or restricting you when you take a big steps. This fabric is going to allow for all kinds of movement. The shark (gray) color is really nice too. I am definitely going to be ordering another pair!

I love this jacket! Only complaint, I am 5'10" and the thumb hole does begin to hurt after awhile because of my long arms. But this jacket is cute and fits well and decently warm!

Excellent quality, and of course utility. Took it on a 4-day hike in high heat and humidity in the Georgia hills, and it was outstanding. Got a few "looks" of course, but I think more guys would wear one were it not for ego or some such superfluous reason.

This is a lightweight, stylish parka that fit me perfectly (I'm 5' 6" and slender) and felt really good on. It looked just like the picture, and I really wanted to keep it, but I don't think it would keep me warm enough. It has only polyester fill, not down. I get cold really easily -- I am layering up and wearing a hat when other women are still comfy in just a sweater or a light jacket -- and winters here in New England are very, very cold and snowy. So I opted for a down parka instead. It's not as stylish as this one, but I have more confidence that it will keep me warm and dry when the inevitable winter storms hit, and that's my top priority. I think this jacket would be a good choice for someone who "runs hot" and doesn't feel the cold the way I do, or someone who lives in a climate where the winters aren't as harsh as they are up here in New England. It would also be a good alternative to a heavier parka if you wanted to own two winter parkas and wear this one on warmer days. But at this price, I can't afford that luxury, so, with regret, I'm returning it.

I am a fleece fanatic and I love the looks of this jacket. Much more stylish than most fleece. However, it is not heavy enough for the Montana winters and is not really close fitting enough for layering under another jacket. I am returning it and will try other makes and styles.
