The material is soft and comfortable but it is only two layers of nylon, so it is not very warm. This is great if you are looking for a light cool layer. It's a stylish look but not very fitted or feminine. The back (fabric above the banded waist) does poof out a bit more than the photos show. Overall it's an awesome jacket; I was just looking for something a little more tailored. Also, I usually wear an XS and the S I ordered fit well. The arm length and the waist band snugness were a perfect fit. But again, the torso was a bit baggy in the back.
This is a super cute jacket in style and color but the sizing is ridiculous--made about three sizes smaller than I would normally wear. It's probably closer to Junior sizes. I wish I'd read a review of this jacket before I ordered it. I plan to return it tomorrow without even going a size up as I don't think it will make enough of a difference. Sad!
I got this jacket for nostalgic reasons - I had a lavender Members Only jacket when I was a kid. This jacket is nylon with a duffel-bag type texture, instead of the cotton-y type material. I got the S, which fits me fine - 5'1", 32D. It's totally '80s gloriousness, but the black is basic enough to go with a lot of stuff.
