Zappos.com is great! The Marmot Precip Jacket I ordered was a gift. It arrived exactly when Zappos said it would, was a perfect fit, and my niece loves it. Having purchased from zappos.com many times in the past I knew Zappos would pay the return postage if the jacket didn't fit or she didn't like it. Talk about great service. Zappos isn't paying me to say this, but, frankly, if they have it, why shop anywhere else? At least, that's what I do.

This coat arrived yesterday and I am extremely happy with my purchase. It is gorgeous and very well made. I chose the Platinum color which is a lovely neutral that will go with everything. I have been wearing a North Face Metropolis Parka the past few years - as soon as I slipped this one on I immediately felt the difference in terms of warmth, materials and fit. This coat is much more feminine and will allow for easy transition from business to casual. Unlike the other reviewer, I didn't have a problem with size. I'm not a small woman (I usually wear a L or size 12). I went with the XL to allow for layering. I was a little worried it was going to be huge, but I wore it over a sweater to work this morning and the fit was perfect. This is my first Marmot coat but I have a feeling this won't be my last. Very impressed.

Bought this in anticipation of a rainy Bears game yesterday, and it definitely surpassed my expectations. The rain did not penetrate but beaded up as promised. No moisture or wind whatsoever made it through. Wore it walking to and from hotel, tailgating, stadium and back again. Went a size up (large) to accommodate layering; northface fleece, Nike thermal top and t shirt worn under and was still comfortable. I'm 5'6, 160 pounds, busty, athletic build. My husband was extremely upset, his northface version soaked right through within 10 min of the rain, a constant drizzle mind you not a downpour. Worth the investment. Wish I would've purchased it in a fun color, instead of black.

These pants do not ride up as advertised. Material is durable yet soft & lightweight. Wish I could select my inseam size, came pretty long so I have to cuff.

Very lightweight shirt with mesh running up the sides. This shirt keeps me cool & dry on hot sunny days. A nice looking athletic polo for many occasions.

Very comfy shirt! Keeps me warm & dry on any given fall weekend. I will buy another color to have two on hand.

These gloves do not work with a smart phone. They are not technology gloves. They have rubber on three of the figures but it does not operate a smartphone. Not sure how they were tested.

Bought these to wear for working long hours outside in the cold weather. With these + some long underwear, I was perfectly toasty. Fabric is nice and soft straight out of the box and they're well made. I am 5'1 and 112 lbs, a bit curvy in hips, and the 4 fit nicely. They are about 3" too long, but I'm going to wash them to see if they shrink up and then re-hem. The grey color was slightly lighter than I expected, but that's not a big deal. Love them!

This purchase was so disappointing. I bought it hoping it would be warm enough for the windchill sweeping Chicago this thanksgiving. I wore it today with a long underwear top and sweater. I was very cold which surprised me since the reviews were so positive. It is -2 today and I just ordered an Arcteryx Patera Parka. It keep out the wind and has down. More money but I'll do anything to be warm.

I love this coat! Was so excited about it arriving just in time for the cold weather down South. But it's too small through the chest. I know many of the "Athletic" ski brands run small but I was holding out hope. Anyway...I am sad. It is awesome! Order up if you are normal sized and above! Admittedly, I am not a small girl and am particularly broad through the chest and shoulders. I would say the XXL is a 14-16.

Love this sweater. I ordered it in the aqua color and it adds a splash of color to my mostly black, white, and denim wardrobe. The small fits perfectly. I'm 5'4" and 105lbs. Great buttons. Pricey but well made. I want it in white too!

I really like my Marmot Ana jacket. I was looking for something that was warm enough to wear out and about without the bulk of a heavy winter jacket. The Ana fit the bill. I am 5'9" around 200lbs and bought a XL. I have really long arms so finding a jacket that fits in all the right places is a task. The arms were PERFECT! I only gave it a 4 because I would have liked a hood on the jacket. I don't always remember to put on a hat so having a backup hood is a plus. I have the black color and it washes up really nice. I would have preferred the cranberry color they had out last year but they were sold out in XL. If you are looking for a warm, stylish, not to bulky winter jacket....the Marmot Ana is your ticket!

I own several Marmot Crystal long sleeve baselayers. They are very comfortable and slide easily under a sweater or fleece. The light aqua shirt and darker aqua design are very pretty.

Used this for a late fall trip to Iceland and Norway and it became my go-to pullover. It is nice and warm and the style goes with most everything (jeans, skirt and tights, etc.). It had a nice length - falls just below the the hips - and for someone with long arms, the arm length was very good.

I was looking for a stylish rain coat, more suited for work rather than play. This one almost fit the bill. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite long enough for me. Just barely covered my bum (I'm 5' 7"). I like that is fitted, but it was almost too snug across shoulders/bust (I'm 40C, Sleeve length is long enough to allow plenty of reach, though. It has a zipper, but it isn't 2-way - always a requirement for me. Also, I didn't care for the button/snap setup for closing the zipper flap. I ended up going with the Marmot High Street: Longer length, still stylish fit, 2-way zipper, magnet flap closure - nice!, removable hood, zip-close slash pockets. I had to get it directly from Marmot, though - the High Street is one popular style!

I love it! So soft and warm. I am usually a 6 or an 8 and debated between the small or medium. Decided to go small since I take small in The North Face. The small is trim but I like the fit. The only small gripe I have that I didn't notice in the photo is the pocket zippers when pulled up, dangle kind of...funny off you. A small quibble. Soft fleece inner lining, really warm, looks nice. Also doesn't pick up lint as badly as my North Face Denali.

Sizing:I'm 6'3, 175 with a long torso/arms and wound up keeping size medium. It is close fitting but very stretchy and still big enough to wear a sweater underneath. Definitely long enough in back. Sleeves are just right, although they pull up slightly when reaching. Looks good/feels good. warmth: The jacket is thin and uninsulated, so you need additional layers underneath if colder than 50 degrees. It blocks the wind and resists moisture pretty well, but it will be outgunned on cold winter days. function:The high collar is nice for extra protection as well as fashion. The zippers are all high quality. The two internal chest pockets are very handy - especially like the phone pocket. Besides the great fit and appearance the six well placed/well sized pockets might be the best feature. style:The cut and polish of this jacket make it a style upgrade over fleece and most other softshells. I have the gray, which is slightly heathered as another review states. Very nice color. I don't like the huge "Marmot" on the front and the emblem on the back of the shoulder. I wish they had found a more subtle way to communicate brand. That is why 4/5 stars for style.

Great jacket. I love that it is long and looks great with professional clothing such as my suits. This coat does breathe, is moderately warm, certainly waterproof and a great coat for the fall and winter, depending on your climate.
