I LOVE these boots. I was actually shopping for a more casual boot for everyday use and site visits for my landscape design/build work. I wasn't really needing a work boot. But I liked the style of these. Overall, it's easily the most comfortable work boot I've ever owned. They're super solid, unbelievably lightweight, and they add about 1" to my height - which is an added bonus. I feel stronger and super duper masculine wearing these, even when I'm just at my desk typing an email. I love em!

As with any Magnum product the quality is fair to good. These are a purpose use dress shoe and not exactly meant for everyday long term use. However, for their purpose they are crisp and sharp and the size is right on par with more comfortable shoes (I bought a 9.5).

Absolutely comfortable! Can take a hell of a beating and don't make my feet feel overly sweaty at all. Definitely rain proof! Think I'll buy another pair as insurance!

I bought these boots for the primary purpose of riding my Suzuki DRZ 400 Dual Sport motorcycle. My main concerns for my boot were: to find something very sturdy around the ankle, sole, and toe, yet comfortable enough to work and walk around in when i wasn't riding and also a side zipper for easy on and off in a hurry. I have had these boots for about 2 months. I am very happy with my purchase so far, no complaints. A little early to comment on long term durability, but flawless as of now. I wear a 13 and the fit was accurate and correct for my size. The sole of the shoe is very sturdy and feels good on the foot peg of my bike. I feel very comfortable going off road in these boots on very rough terrain. Boots are also a good fit for working and walking around in town, at the store, ect. Side zipper with pull tag works great and is a smooth pull up and down. Good amount of room to get your foot in and out of the boot, yet still zips up with a firm fit. Very solid toe construction and a supported feel around the ankle. Yet easy to maneuver your foot to shift/brake and whatever else. I haven't had these boots long enough to say they will last forever but so far so good. I wear these for riding my Yamaha ttr125 as well as my dual sport. Nothing but expected bumps and scratches around the toe. Comfortable for wearing all day working, hiking, fishing also. As of now, I would definitely buy again.

I received this boots a couple of weeks ago. So far they look very good. I have yet to test them in a ruck march. I intend to do so next week. I may update my input then. Appearance is good, comfort level is ok. They do not feel as snug as my Danner's when they were new. But they feel almost as light as my Vibram, and that is a plus. The sole appears to be more protective than the Vibram, so I expect more comfort from this Magnums. This are cold weather boots, but I don't like the worming about using the boots in a hot environment.

These boots have been through every possible scenario to destroy them and they have held up amazingly. I work in a shipping warehouse. I'm on my feet 9 hours a day and I have used these boots for a year. Through snow, sun, water, oil, sharp objects falling on them, heavy objects falling on them and more. I had a 600lb drive unit fall on my foot and only had a scuff on the toe to show for it. They were the most comfortable boots I've ever had on my feet and they are as comfortable as the day I put them on. For about a week the right heel would rub but a set of insoles fixed the problem. I would say it was a problem with my foot, not the boots. The top, back has a low point which makes it easier to put these taller boots on even with a high instep (the top part of your foot that meets your leg. A pull tab would make putting them on easier but it isn't difficult. I normally wear a size 13 and the 13 - regular/medium width (D) fit perfectly. The sole and the leather have held up nicely but I have noticed about half way up the back where the leather attaches to the nylon it has separated from being pulled on. Thank you for an amazing pair of boots. I'm now a customer for life and I recommend these to anyone in a setting where they need steel toe boots and they are on their feet all day.

These are my second pair and I still were my old one's which I bought 3 years ago. I drive a gasoline tanker and wear these all year round no need for heavy winter boots these do it all and the gas don't eat them up all I can say is great boot very comfortable and no break in period great right out of the box.

I've lived in these boots for a little over a year now, 5 days a week, 8-12 hours a day through the salt, snow, rain, mud, you name it. They have held up great. They do scuff and scratch but a little bit of boot polish goes a long way if you need them to look good for duty use. I would recommend replacing the laces with some 550 paracord because the laces that come with the boot suck. Comfortable, breathable but warm, nice quiet soft grippy sole. Most comfortable steel toe boot I've worn. When this pair is destroyed I'm going to buy another, they are worth it.

Awesome Work Boots/ Looks good in the Field and Office setting. Light comfortable easy to clean up. Pricey but it's money well spent.

These shoes are awesome! Remarkably comfortable, and the order arrived very quickly. I will buy from this company again!

These shoes do what they are supposed to and can handle a lot of abuse. My husband works on the tarmac at the airport and normal shoes last about 2 or 3 months (if that) but these last a little more than a year.

I am so glad that I got these boots! I work as an engineer on a grave yard shift and often work a double into day shift (that is 16 hours in my boots). I used to have a pair of Magnums that eventually got old. After that I got a pair of Wolverines that were ok at first, but eventually got worse. Magnums break in so easily and your feet do not slosh around like in other safety toe boots. They fit nice and snug. And as always, Zappos prices are great and ship free. My feet are happy again.

These are the best work boots I've ever owned. I've put six months of 40-48 hours a week of shipyard work into these boots, and they have had zero issues. Prior to trying Magnums, I had 3 pairs of Timberland Pros. They all lasted well, but were so heavy that I needed to try something different. The lightness of these boots is amazing. They do not tire my legs like my Timb's did. They do have a bit of a cheap look to them...to be honest, I saved the box b/c I thought I may have to take Magnum up on their 60 day return policy if/when I destroyed them at work. But this was not the case; they have worn quite well. My ONLY complaint is that, although they have good arch support, they seem a bit shallow. I wear a thin sock, and they did not tighten against the top of my foot well. So I purchased a pair of Dr. Schol's insoles, and put them in the boots on top of the Magnum insoles. If I wore thick socks I wouldn't have had to do this. Although these are the only Magnums I have had, you really can't go wrong with these boots. I just wish they made some more traditional, less tactical looking styles.

I work on my feet for a living. These boots felt true to size and have been very comfortable to wear. I would recommend these for anyone who works on their feet outdoors.

Excellent boots...sturdy, comfortable, durable and a good fit. I used them for 5 days straight in the desert and they were great in the heat of the day and the cold of the night. Buy them now!

This boot is very comfortable, lightweight. I work in the track field. A lot of walking on rocks, concrete and gravel. Don't know how durable the boot is, hoping for a least a 6 months of wear. Shoe laces are weak will need replacing soon. Overall good price and stylish. True to size, insole not the best - will need to be replaced.

Pros: light, fairly well made, water-repellent. Cons: plastic lacing hardware, stiff upper material, stiff foot-bed. Result: Returned.

I use these boots for riding my motorcycle. I love these boots. They are so comfortable and lightweight. The soles are oil and slip resistant which is exactly what I want and need for riding. I highly recommend these boots.

I have worn these steadily for about three weeks now. They are nice and light, with very good construction. They are attractive looking. I ordered 8½ and they are loose fitting (it is OK for me because I change the insole with aftermarket quality ones that tighten it up) so keep that in mind. That would be my complaint though, the insole they provide is a bit weak and thin, no cushion whatsoever. Also you need to really loosen all of the laces to get the shoes on an off, they do not have the speed tabs on the top of the shoe. Overall with the new inserts, I like the shoes.

I purchased these shoes to wear with my Air Force Auxiliary uniform. They are not made of a soft leather on the outside. I knew this. This is a specialty shoe and they are perfect for my purpose.
