Lucchese

Gorgeous shoes. They run small. I normally wear a 9.5 or 10 and the 10 was very short. Reordering the 11 and hope it works for me because they are beautiful!

These quickly became my absolute favorite shoe boots -- so stylish and so comfortable! I want to wear them every day! These are my first Lucchese boots -- but they won't be my last!

These are beautiful boots. The color although it is a green hue it surprisingly compliments everything in my wardrobe. Definitely runs big. I am a true 9½ in shoes and had to go down to a 8½ due to the 9 being significantly loose. They were snug but within 10 minutes of wearing they were loosening up. It is a supple leather. They are worth every dollar.

These boots are SO cute! I'm not usually a big fan of cowboy boots because they tend to be stiff and tight on the toes. Not these, they are soft leather and really comfortable, plenty of room in the toes. Can't wait to wear them with jeans, summer dresses and shorts!

I actually did not buy these from Zappos, but my never buy shoes anywhere else. Great fit. Extremely comfortable leather. Super soft. Absolutely love these boots.

These boots rock! I am a pretty solid 7.5 with a high arch and narrow foot and I ordered a 7.5...seems like there's a tad bit more room at the toe box, but I'm just putting an insole in it and calling it pretty much perfect. This boot goes with everything because of the color scheme -- and it has a throwback, retro cool to it that's kind of rocker-ish...like you just stepped out of a 1972 honky tonk where maybe you ran into Keith Richards. I bought a pair of Old Gringos before I came across this Lucchese (I was looking for a cool black boot), and I kind of wish I had found these first because they have slightly better arch support...plus, they were comfortable straight out of the box. Love 'em!

These are my third pair of Lucchese boots in this style. I have tan, brown, and black. Boots should always be ordered in 1/2 size smaller so that they don't slip in the heel and these are no different. The craftsmanship is outstanding. There is no better. I have had one pair resoled 3 times and I still get compliments on them. I wish my daughter wore my size so I can leave them to her in my will!

The darker distressed goat leather shows off the red and lighter contrast design of the stitching without being showy. This is a great everyday look. Unfortunately, my very high instep simply will not slide into it - not even with the wide width to allow extra space. I am not including a rating on fit for this reason, but I fully expect that the length would be correct and the overall fit would run very tight until worn a while so the leather conforms to the owner's feet. I find this true of all Lucchese footwear - as it should be for a superbly crafted quality boot and shoe.

I fell in love with theses boots as soon as I saw them online. I have an upcoming conference in Dallas where one of the nights is themed "cowgirls & bling". I wanted to get some cowboy boots but I didn't want to get anything that I wouldn't be happy to wear again (especially at this price point). When I opened the box and smelled the new leather smell I was also really pleased with the quality of the boots. The design is just amazing and best of all they already look like old friends. I love the extra studs and the color looks like it's going to go with everything. Regarding the fit - I usually wear a 7.5 in most shoes but since I wear an 8 in Frye boots (due mostly to my high instep), I opted to go with an 8 in these boots also and I'm really glad I did. At first, I couldn't even get the boots on my feet. My husband assumed I was having a problem with my calf (which is usually where most boots fail me as being too tight), however it was my instep. I was literally stuck half-way in the boot and couldn't get them off or on completely. Since the boots were still a little cold from being on the UPS truck, I decided to just leave them on my feet and see if the leather would stretch as it warmed up - and it did!! It took a little effort but once I got past that point my foot slid in just fine and they feel great!! Thankfully I invested in a professional boot stretcher so, once I get home, I'm going to put the boots on the stretcher and use some of the leather stretching spray that I have on the instep area and then they should be perfect in a couple of days. One of the reasons that I bought the stretcher is that this is a constant problem for me and rather than having to take them in to get stretched at the shoe repair place, I just do them myself. These are really gorgeous boots and don't feel like they're too Western-styled either. I am looking forward to wearing these for many years to come!

I bought these boots for my Mom to attend a corporate event in Dallas that is Western-themed. At first when she saw them come out of the box she was nervous that they wouldn't fit as they look a bit narrow (size 6.5). When she tried them on however, she said they were a perfect fit and felt as though the foot-bed was custom-made for her feet. The leather quality is outstanding and the design is gorgeous. I don't know about the other reviewer who said they were gaping at the top? My Mom is very petite, 5'1" and has slender calf muscles and they fit her just right - not too big, not too small at the top. Looking forward to our event! I got myself a pair of Lucchese boots also. They're really cool!

Gorgeous boots that will wear gracefully for years. The colors are perfect for a trip to Skyline Drive, antiquing in Vermont or the strolling through Colorado Aspens, a day at the rodeo, or dinner al fresco in San Antonio on the River Walk. I am holding on to hope that Zappos will get a 10W wide because it would fit my wide foot and very high instep better (I ordered the 11M because the boot is too stunning to pass up but I am just keeping it in the box because the toe is too long the fit a bit sloppy. As the leather breaks in, it will stretch and become more so - not a good thing with a boot that should fit close on the instep (this close fit is what keeps your heel in place inside the boot). I will put a gel insert into the boot if all else fails, but still hope for the 10W.

This is the second pair I have purchased for my husband. They fit from the first time he slipped them on! Love them love Zappos!

It's the best looking I've ever owned. The ostrich skin is supple and soft and fit great! This is my first pair of Luchese boots and now swear by them.

These boots were a splurge for me, so glad I took the step up! For the first time, I have footwear that doesn't pinch, rub or leave my arches aching. Can I be dreaming? That's a well made boot! They look amazing in a laid back, chic kind of way. The leather is soft and thin so the toe box shows as does the heel cup. The contrast isn't bothering me, I'm so happy with these. Worn with skinnies, leggings and a skirt, boot cut jeans, they bring a funky twist to anything they're paired with. Bought them to visit Graceland believing Elvis would approve!

Very cute boots! Of the four pairs of Lucchese's that I ordered this was the winner. The size is an 8.5 (my size) and it fit like a glove. I got a dozen compliments on them the first day I wore them to work. The purple in them is very subtle and they look nice with jeans but I will also be wearing them with a grey suit. There was no time needed to break them in, they were comfortable all day the first time I wore them. The heel is just slightly higher than the traditional cowboy boot I've been wearing but still very comfortable and just "girly" enough.

Nice boot but the 8.5 was too small. I have a pair of black buffalo calf Lucchese boots in an 8.5 that I wear all the time. I bought them at a little boot shop and tried on many pairs before picking the size. I thought this pair would fit the same since it is also buffalo but I could not get them on. I have a high arch, which sometimes makes boots tricky, but thought since this pair is made in the US they would work. Sadly, I will return them.

Cutest boots, ever! Not sure what's going on with Lucchese, though. I wear an 8.5 in their boots and I couldn't sqeeze my foot into these boots in an 8.5. Will try the 9. Also, the 8.5 I got had a splotch on the front, so I would have sent them back for poor quality control on the part of Lucchese if they would have fit.

Beautiful boot made in Brazil. I ordered the 8.5 medium and it felt too narrow and squeezed my foot almost painfully, but my toe was where it should be. I ordered the 9 medium and it was too big at the ankle and slipped too much when I walked. I decided that the leather will stretch and will stay with the 8.5. In fact, it has started stretching already and I no longer feel like I want to cry every time I take a step.

If you are looking For a boot with loads of personality that fits like a fine kid soft slipper - and one that you can wear when it is hot outside - this is it! The leather superbly soft and thin, much lighter weight than most Lucchese boots. It feels like a kid skin glove on my surgically sensitized feet. The boot is also much cooler. The down side is that this leather will not take as much hard use - so treat these boots gently - wear them to the office or to concerts - not out to the corral or the barn.
