An eager businessman of his time, he established a wholesale dry goods business simply dubbed 'Levi Strauss & Co.' Levis 501's are the only jeans worth wearing! All those other models are okay, but 501's are the originals. Great fit, great look. The only others worth considering are 505's - if you can't deal with the button fly. (Opinionated, aren't I?) Unique to Zappos is the inseam measurement of 31". I have checked 20 or 30 sites, and all have inseams either 30 or 32. 30 is just barely okay for me, and 32 bags up too much over my shoe. 31 is perfect, just enough break over the shoe. Only Zappos has 31 inseam - not even Levis site has that length. (For the paranoid among us, I did extensive reading about signs of counterfeits. None of the signs, obvious and subtle, show up on Zappos Levis. These are the genuine article.) So, if you want the real deal, in more size choices than anywhere else - this is the place to get 501's. The only jeans to have (in my humble opinion)!

The new 501 jeans are phony. I recently purchased three pair of 501 Levi's via the internet from Penney's trusting that the jeans I was familiar with, and trusted name would be of high quality denim, and brass buttons. I am sorry to say that the dye is uneven, no brass buttons, and thin cotton, not denim. These are not the 501 jeans I love these are the same quality jeans one would pay ten dollars for at a discount store. In other words they are trash.

I had always bought my Levi's in brick and mortar stores in the past. When I saw the price had increased so much, I thought there had to be a better price somewhere. I found Zappos! The price was better than in the stores, plus free shipping and no sales tax. That was a great combination. The Levi's arrived within two days of placing the order. I am sold!

I only wear these type of jeans because they are perfect. Zappos delivered for free when JC Penney and Macys, even Sears, wanted at least 7 bucks. They came faster than promised and had no problems. I will purchase from them again.
I'd also recommend: levis are the only brand
