Two years ago, I bought seven pairs of these pants. I loved them and wear them everyday to my physical job and on weekends. Needing new ones, I recently purchased four pairs. All four pairs are sized much larger than the previous pairs of the same marked size. I love the construction, materials, and design of these pants. It is really too bad that Kuhl seems to be cutting them larger now. They no longer fit my body type and are uncomfortable to work in as a result. I recommend you try a pair. If they do not fit, send them back. If they do fit, you will love these pants. They are really great quality, dry quickly, and are a very cute, yet functional design.

This is a very flattering top; it covers nicely any figure flaws like less than a smooth tummy. The fit for me (Medium) was perfect. I am 5' 4", about 160 lbs...38C/32/38. The sleeves are long on me; stretched out, they cover the tips of my fingers. My arms are on the shorter side. There are 3 buttons at the end of each sleeve, and they can be undone. I would say considering the thickness of the fabric, this top is more for Fall, or a cool Summer day/evening. My only problem with this top is the color. It is not at all as shown. What I have in hand, I would not call "aqua." It is more of a green tone . . . Jade green . . . MUCH darker. Some colors are tough to nail on these sites unless it's Black/White. I've checked other sites and all display a brighter, true aqua color. I am not totally thrilled with the color, but love the fit, so still undecided on keeping it.

I bought these for a trip to Iceland and they were perfect. They were comfortable and I loved the extra pockets and the quick-dry material. It rained frequently plus we were hiking through streams, and these pants would dry in the car. Very pleased with this purchase.

My husband is obsessed with these pants. Literally. He will wear them day after day. This is his second pair. I am so happy he has found them because usually he will buy new pants and then complain about how ill-fitting they are. Not anymore!

Love these pants, but I'm 5' 10" and they were too short for me. There was a good inch, or inch and a half of leg showing above my ankle. I usually like pants to touch the top of my foot. Sadly returning these! I wish they offered a 34" inseam. Incidentally, I have the Kuhl Durango Knicker shorts, which are the same exact style. Love those!

Excellent all around pants. Great for hiking or to replace jeans when around town. Very comfortable and rugged.

I almost never like this sort of short, but I was looking for a good hiking short, one that didn't look bulky and unattractive like most of them out there seem to be, and this one caught my eye in REI one day because it looked so stylish. These shorts are surprisingly nice looking on, very slimming in fact, and just an overall attractive design. Very comfortable, nice material that is fairly lightweight, and the sage green is a great color. They seem quite well made. My only reservation is the front snap...it's different and kind of odd and I haven't seen one like this before. I hope it doesn't get too loose over time and not stay snapped. Also, if the shorts fit at all tight in the waist, the snap probably will not stay snapped due to its design. Size reference: I'm 5'7" and the length is to a point just at my knee, pretty much exactly like in the model photo above. Weight is 140, hips about 37", waist 34", and the 10 fit perfectly. It's worth noting that in a lot of other manufacturers my pants size is 6 or 8, so I think these must run a bit small, hence the size 10. I'm guessing most people would have to size up one size.

Light, comfortable, and seemingly durable fabric. I'm 6'2" and the 34" inseams seems just a tad short for my liking (maybe by .5" or 1"). I also wish the shorts were convertible to a longer inseam, the shorts have a 9" inseam and I'd prefer 11".

I ordered the Kontra & Vala size 2, the Kendra pants size 4,the Splash pants in size 4, the Splash 11 inch shorts in size 2. The features, fabric and pockets on the Splash styles are much better than any of the others. The Kontra only has 4 pockets. The front pockets are too shallow to be useful and the back pockets and roll-up tabs button, which is a pain. The Splash has 8, all snap except the front hand pockets, which is much more functional for hiking. Both the size 2 & 4 in Splash fit me, while the 2s in the Kontra & Vala were way too snug. And the Kendra was too plain-featured for the price. Sent all those back, kept the Splash pants & shorts. I'm 5'2", 107, slim hips, shorter torso.

I ordered my first Kuhl Splash roll-up pants a few weeks ago, sage size 4. Had just ordered the same style shorts size 2 in carbon & khaki. The shorts felt a little snug, so thought I'd try the pants in a 4, based on many comments about sizing issues. The pants fit about the same as the shorts. I measured the waist and the size 4 was only about 1/4" inch bigger than the size 2s. Seems to be a common theme among reviews - that Kuhl sizing is inconsistent. However, they do stretch out a little as you wear them. So I kept the shorts and can wear the 4s, but I'm waiting on the size 2 khaki pants to come back in stock. Love the fabric, style, roll-up option, pockets and over all fit. I'm 5'2", 107, pretty slim with slim hips, and a shorter torso, so this style really fits my body type very well. The 32" length is a little long on me, but it's okay with my hiking boots. I noticed on Kuhl's website that they offer several other styles of pants in a 30" inseam, but not the Splash pant, which is strange since it seems to be a best-seller. As a side note, I also tried the Kontra, Kendra and Vala pants in size 2 and could barely get them zipped & snapped. Plus, I didn't like the styles or fabrics. I'll stick with the Splash.

Fantastic pants! My son loves these shorts, too. Great for hiking. Dry quickly after those stream crossing Zappos us the best place to buy. My son wears a 31 waist but the outdoors stores like EMI only carry even sizes.

Very comfy pants and not restrictive at all. I like that their are draw strings on the bottom of the legs so that I can shorten the length which helps prevent the pants from dragging on the floor because of my short 5'2'' stature. Just one thing I am confused about, in the description is says their is a "hidden cell phone pocket", but I can't find it?

What I love: tough fabric that is smooth, soft & quiet; non-binding cut in the knees that means less fabric gapping behind the knee; true sizing in waist (34" in-seam on mine is a 33 and a half); top pocket so stuff doesn't fall out; the side pocket can hold a rolled up Wall Street Journal; belt loops that are really solidly stitched; hint of dark green that gives the carbon color a bit of life. What I don't like: I wouldn't trust the change pocket to hold a key since it's not deep enough; the side pocket doesn't close and so it's not suited for a cell phone.

Great pants! I am 6'1", 185 pounds and the 33/32 fit perfect. Washed them per instructions inside out then dry on cool and the patina was perfect. Look forward to seeing how light they will wash out to. Comfortable and good looking enough to wear out as well as hike. Great product wish for more colors!

This quickly became my favorite pair of shorts, in fact I bought 5 of them! Comfortable, cool, stretchy, and attractive. What's not to like? Moreover, what is not seen from the picture is there's an additional elastic tie inside to help keep them secure. Get these!

I was really excited to get these Kuhl convertible pants for a 734 km hike. They fit PERFECTLY. I bought the size 4/30. I'm 5'6", and 120 #. The material is beautifully comfortable, with a slight 4 way stretch, but not overly stretchy. It would hold it's shape. It fit on my hips, where I like to wear my pants. The cons: ALL the pockets were too small to be functional. I could barely get my hands into them, let alone fit anything into them. Too small for a cell phone, definitely too small for a wallet or passport. Maybe if you liked to carry your gear in your jacket or vest or backpack this could work for you. I like my cargo pants to be functional. These aren't. The slim cargo pockets were SO slim (very cute) that IF I could fit my iphone in there (debateable), I'd never get it out! lol VERY CUTE, but I have enough cute pants; I need some serious gear pants, so I'd headed to check out the TNF Paramount Peak II.

Great Board Shorts. I found sizing to be right on. Shorts look great and the stretch panels make them very comfortable.

More or less love these pants. They are extremely comfortable, lightweight and get the sweat off your skin. Size might run a liiiiitttle large, but I'll probably gain weight, so who cares. My only beef is that the waist button fell off after a single wearing! I sewed it back on, but what the heck?

I was looking for light weight, quick drying jeans. These are similar to denim jeans in construction and stitching. Be aware that the stitching is high contrast against dark colors. The Revolvr style is similar but with less contrast. Wish they came in a denim color like traditional jeans.

These are the closest I've found to traditional denim jeans with light weight and quick drying for Mississippi summer work. The fabric and stitching seems to be durable enough to last. I wish they came in a denim color.
