These are very comfortable shoes. I have to wear safety toe shoes at work and when I first put these on I honestly thought to myself, "I think I'm going to enjoy work so much better now" because I do a lot of walking. The one complaint is that these are waterproof and therefor do not breathe very well. I work in a power plant and I find myself wanting to take them off when I have a break to cool off my feet. My fault for not reading the specs very closely. Overall good steel toe shoes if you want something lighter than clunky boots.

I must have ordered 25 pairs of shoes to find these. My feet were literally in agony from spending 12 hours a day on cement. I ordered a bit large, and added a gel insert under the Keen insole. Voilà. Perfect. I am going to order more just in case the style gets discontinued or changed.

I have very discriminating feet, and can only wear a few select brands without issues, one of which is Keen, and the new pair of Detroit work shoes, are exceptionally comfortable right out of the box. In fact, I have never worn more comfortable work shoes.

I've had a least 10 pair of Keen shoes and was interested when I saw they offered a steel toed light hiker. I use these for yard work with power equipment and in the shop when working on my old cars. They are a little heavier than regular shoes but neither you nor your friends will realize they have steel toes. They are comfortable, look good, and provide excellent protection. These run large unless you wear really thick socks.

I work for a water utility and am required to where steel toed/or composite toe shoes. I am always looking for good name brand shoes that I wear outside of work. When I found Keen had safety shoes available through Zappos I ordered them. They are the most comfortable work shoes I've owned in 25 years. The customer service rep that I spoke to about ordering was very helpful also. Kudos to Zappos for the great job and the great products you serve to customers. Thanks for the great job.
