Keds Reviews

Good, very classic casual shoe. Light and airy which is great for the summer and goes with everything. However, it takes a bit of breaking in due to the material, and I highly recommend wearing socks so your heel doesn't get the skin rubbed off during the breaking in period!
Keds has updated this shoe from what I remember in the past. Not good. The pair I just received are very narrow and there is about an inch of useless room at the end of the toe. If I had sized down, they would have been too small. I feel like my foot should be shaped like a wedge of cheesecake to have these shoes fit properly. Perhaps I could use the odd space at the end of my toes to keep spare change? The toes look pointy and capable of inflicting pain on someone. Also, they don't lace up as far on the top of the foot as they used to, they would be better fitting if there were one more eyelet to lace up. As they are, the short top makes the heels slip up and down, the way some skimmer type shoes do. All in all, the classic Keds look isn't quite there anymore, this style now looks sort of odd, narrow and longgggg and pointy, and more of an off-white color that is noticeable because the laces are a true white and the shoes are not. If not the for giant KEDS logo screaming from the back and sides (yes, part of the new look), I would think that these were just a generic pair of white sneakers.

I have had narrow feet all of my life, and apparently this has become more and more rare, because most local stores do not sell narrow shoes. But Keds still continues to make them, and their quality is consistent, so I feel safe ordering them. I needed new casual shoes for a June business trip, i.e. for the evenings when walking is your transportation here and there. These are cute, classic, and look like summer. They are easy to put on and take off in airports, and have enough support and flexibility, right out of the box, to be comfortable throughout a day of travel. The navy canvas looks very good with denim capris or jeans. For activities and exercise, I use a Reebok shoe (the only brand I have found that runs narrow enough to not slide on my foot), but I always keep a pair of basic Keds for picnics, scouting events, school events, shopping, or any occasion where I want to be a little more stylish, but still wear comfortable shoes. Basic Keds don't disappoint. I only wish there more colors in narrow/slender.
I love these. The blue looked black at first but it's a dark navy. I ordered the extra extra wide and probably could have done with the wides and been fine too. The XXW just leaves more room to be comfy when you wear them without socks and your feet swell. I want them in red and tan!

Would you like your feet to return to your magical childhood? Take a gander at these babies. They make you move just like the lassie in dirty dancing right before the Swayze lifts her off her little Keds wearing feet.

Very flat, do what other buyers advised and buy 1/2 size smaller than you usually do. I did, and they fit fine. Like every other Keds, they are very flat. Comfortable, but not the shoe if you are looking for arch support.
These shoes fit very nicely on a foot that is hard to fit. I did order another pair in a different color so I'm all set for summer.
Love Zappos and love Keds. They are classics. Wipe clean. So cute. Perfect summer shoe. New Keds every summer since I was a kid in the 1950s.

This champion Seasonal brand of Keds fit me perfect. I frequently need an 11.5. I love them and bought a pair in every color they are great and a fun shoe for summer.
These shoes are extremely comfortable and look great. I thought I would only wear them sometimes a few times in order to keep them clean, but they are surprisingly stain proof. In fact, I recently wore them to the lake where I was stepping in the water and mud and only got a few easily removable stains. I love these shoes. My only regret is I didn't buy more colors but that can be easily resolved.
I love these versatile and comfortable shoes. Even though they are basic looking online they do have a little style to them and I actually got compliments on them. They fit true to size and have nice cushion. I made the mistake of washing them in warm water in the washing machine so they shrunk a little bit. Luckily they look good with and without socks so I can still wear them. The only reason they don't get five stars is because they get dirty easily. When these wear out I will get another pair.
I purchased 2 pair of these shoes for my mother's 89 year-old friend with horrible, and wide, feet. She absolutely loves them! She wears a triple wide and can not find shoes anywhere but Zappos. She doesn't use the computer so I order them for her. This is the 3rd pair of shoes I've found for her on Zappos. It's so convenient because I can tke my laptop to her, show her the shoes, and take them right to her when they arrive. She isn't very mobile so the fact that I can return them free if they don't fit is wonderful. The staff at Zappos is awesome. They are the happiest, kindest people I've ever dealt with. I get my shoes through them too.
These are the classic white Keds, which I have always loved. I have wide feet so the wide ones are much more comfortable for me than the medium width. However, I find that I have to go down at least 1/2 size or they are too roomy.
These shoes are not worth the price. The bow frays. Once they are washed they fall apart. I wouldn't pay $10 for them.
Classic Keds. I wore them with a blue Jean shirt and blue Jean skinny pants and rolled the pant leg up...classic. Posted it on instagram and got several likes from random people. Love Keds.

Zappos has it when you want it! I wanted the khaki Ked and couldn't find it anywhere. It arrived speedily and fit perfectly. Just what I wanted. Thanks Zappos.
Wonderful Summer shoe...comfortable and is true to size...can be used for dress and casual. Hard to find a nice shoe like this in Navy.

I usually wear a 6.5 and my feet are a little wide. Based on the reviews, I ordered a 6 wide. They are too big. I think I will go with a size 5.5 wide.

Looks like an espadrille, feels like those ever-so-comfy slip-on Keds you remember from your childhood. I had ordered Footsmart's version of a very similar shoe; only because Zappos did not carry that line (Aerosoles), and it was available in a wide. Footsmart: backordered twice, and by the time I got them, their fit was no wider than these Keds, and had no arch support at all. End result: 12.99 to return the ill-fitting Footsmart espadrilles and zero shipping to keep the Keds (or, zero shipping if I had wanted to return them!). No more shopping with Footsmart...on to the shoes: they are absolutely adorable, and the medium fits my wide feet just fine. I am looking forward to seeing what else Keds offers in slip-on sneaks, etc. for the summer. BTW, these are not huge on arch support, but were surprisingly way better than the Footsmart Aerosole alternative.
They are the most uncomfortable shoes I have in my closet and I wear them only when I'm absolutely desperate and ready to have sore feet, especially toes, all day. The discomfort could stem from the tapered toe area or the fact that the shoe is smaller than the normal size. Whatever the reason, beware. Yes, they're classic, cute and retro but they're simply not worth the pain.

In 1916, Keds created the original sneaker -- or as they like to say, the first ever “feel-like-everyday's-a-Saturday” shoe. But that was a bit of a mouthful... so instead they called it the Champion.
