The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their father´s death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today.
Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots.
When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justin´s patented J-Flex® Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the ¨Standard Of The West Since 1879¨.

These fit too big otherwise I loved them! No rubbing on my ankles, comfy insole. Very cute, but I'll have to wait for a smaller size. Much better fit than Ariat, though.

Love this boot! Just got them today, but they look exactly how I expected. I was told by a shoe saleswoman to get a half size smaller so I did, and they fit perfectly. I have wide feet, but these fit quite well. Snug around the widest part of my foot, but I imagine the shoes will stretch there once they are broke in. Minimal arch support, but I prefer it that way. So far, loving them. I hope they last a long, long time!
I'd also recommend: Ariat

Being around horses is one of my joys. In order to maintain my joy level, I prefer not to be stepped on. However, if that does happen, these steel toed boots help protect my feet. Another benefit is that they are waterproof as well. The boot is well made. Without boot socks it feels a bit large and a bit wide. With boot socks, or any other heavy type sock, it fits me well.

I'm required to wear steel toe boots for work and these are great. They're cute, comfortable, and meet all safety requirements. I am usually an 8.5 or 9 and decided to order the 8.5 based on the reviews. They fit perfectly.

These boots are awesome! I found them comfortable right from the box, although as with most western boots the heel slips a little at first until they are broken in. I like the cute western details and they are made very well with quality materials. I plan to wear these daily for work. While I don't necessarily need the steel toe at my job, it never hurts to have, and the water-proof feature is nice too, as I have ruined countless pairs of boots by wearing them through snow and sidewalk salt! Zappos got these boots to me in less than 24 hours by next day air too, so I couldn't be more happy!
