I have had these boots when they were under the Carhartt badge. They are the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn and the sole is extremely long lasting. I am 6'4", 240 pounds and on my feet all day. The arch support is awesome, there is no need for orthotics. I am so glad that I found these boots again.

I've been wearing these for 3 months now and have found them to be a quality product. I'm on my feet for 8 hours a day, five days a week and these boots put up with all I throw at them. There was little to no break-in time and durability is also not an issue. I work in the receiving department of a home improvement store so my boots take a beating from pallets, building materials, and so forth.

Overall, a pretty nice pair of boots. Weatherproof, nice materials, good for the Minnesota winter. That being said, be prepared to have a struggle to break these boots in - they will fight you back. Good things: - nice material - well made - will probably last forever - good boots for bad weather - comfortable. Not good things: - laces untie relatively easily - moderate arch support (where it should be superb, for a work style boot) - footbed is, for lack of a better word, hard; a bit of a surprise when I was expecting soft and cushy.
I'd also recommend: Timberland Pro Series
