After switching styles and sizes 5 times I ended up with this boot. Having a pair of red wings I figured the sizing was similar, it was not. I would say these run .5 size long and wide. I also tried the Wingshooter by Irish Setter which had a different fit altogether. The first long walks in these were painful. The leather is quite stiff at first, but after breaking them in they are great. The leather really conformed to my foot making it really comfortable even after 10+ hrs. I ride the train in Chicago so I'm walking and climbing stairs and these boots have been soft and cushioned every time. Yeah, so, if you are OK with a stiff break in, go for it.

I have purchased Irish Setter Shoes in the past so I am aware of the fine quality. I am always on my feet and need an exceptional shoe. These are comfortable and well made shoes, you will not be disapointed.
I'd also recommend: Redwing

Great boots, two flaws I like eye hooks at the top of my boots and the waxed laces don't seem to stay tied very well, but aside from those two minor problems they are great boots.
