These are good, comfortable shoes for the business casual environment. They are very light.

I suppose these Gus model is OK if you have VERY FAT feet, because the size medium are quite wide and are quite high in the area above the front of the shoe, i.e., above the toes. If you have normal feet, your feet will be sliding around inside these big, unattractive, boot-like, work shoe-like shoes. Another thing I don't like is that the tongue of the shoes and the rear wall (heel) of the shoes are way too high, which is uncumfortable when walking. I will be returning these shoes for these reasons. The soles are comfortable and the shoes are flexible and are nice and light. Hush Puppies makes good,comfortable shoes, except for this particular model.

I am writing this review for my grandpa. He has always worn Hush Puppies shoes and he could no longer find them in stores. He had to order out of a catalog. I recommended Zappos.com to him and after finding the shoe he wanted, I ordered them for him! They fit wonderfully, as they always have. He is very pleased with them. Very comfortable shoe and they fit great!

I sell cars and am on my feet a lot. Very lightweight and comfortable shoes. Highly recommend them and Zappos.

Comfy and well worth the money. They look a little dressier in person, so my husband can get away with wearing them with a suit.
