Hobo

I am a big fan of Hobo purses but unfortuantely, the quality of this one did not measure up to their usual standards. The purse is studded with these little white dots and within a week of carrying it, a lot of them had fallen off. Now the purse is about two months old and there are so many missing that it looks very worn. I loved the size and number of pockets and I wish I had bought it in a solid leather option instead.

I was so excited to get this wallet. I ordered it in pink & to my surprise it looks nothing like the pink in the picture. the color is more of a fuchsia in the light but in a low light setting it looks red. Not what I expected. But I will say I do love the style of wallet therefore I may be keeping this around.

Highest quality leather and a darling bag, but I should have read dimensions. It is teeny-tiny, smaller than a wallet.

I found the leather too floppy to function effectively. The latch also did not function smoothly like my previous Hobo clutch (which was amazing!)

I don't know why but I imagined this purse to look bigger in person, even though they give you the dimensions. Anyway, it's too small. It's beautiful but simply not that useful. It's a wallet with a handle. And not a useful wallet at that (there are no card slots, just a pocket and zippered pocket), making it's even less appealing for the price point. This is a $40- 50 small pouch.

After my Target version of this style clutch/wallet lost a magnet and started ripping in a few places after a few years of use, I decided it was time to get a new one. My sister has a Lauren Hobo that has lasted many years, so I decided to upgrade the brand as well! I ordered the Hydrangea Print Vintage Leather, and I am absolutely in love! It is such a beautiful wallet, and I love the bright blue inside the pockets. I also have to comment on the wonderful customer service of Zappos. My original shipment came with the wrong wallet, and being that it was my first purchase from this site, I was a little unnerved by it! I used the live chat function to ask how to go about doing an exchange, and the service agent was very helpful. I like that they shipped me out the right wallet very quickly, and also really like that Zappos does free returns. It makes shopping online a heck of a lot less stressful, and makes me feel like my business is actually valued! I will certainly be a repeat customer.

This wallet is the perfect size. It holds all the same stuff I used to put into a large Coach wallet, in a much more compact space! The currency fits without having to fold it in half. I can put 7 credit cards, plus my ID in the main slots. And then there are 4 other larger spaces for miscellaneous things like store loyalty cards. (I use one of them for rubber bands for my hair.) Plus, there's a slot on the outside that you can access without having to open the wallet -- great for my grocery list or business cards. And the change compartment is nice and big, so you don't have to struggle to find what you're looking for. I can even fit my change plus a lip gloss in there! The leather and hardware feel high-quality, and the fabric pattern on the inside is cute. The whole wallet is cute, actually! I could carry this without a purse and it would be perfect! I normally don't love ID windows in wallets because it seems like it's always hard to get your ID out when you need to (try handing your entire wallet to the TSA screener), but this one makes it easy with a little hole that you use to slide the ID out. Perfect! I love this wallet so much, I want to buy another one to have on backup in case this one ever wears out!

Lovely small handbag...opens from zipper on side. Purse can be carried by handle or folded as shown. Color and leather very good.

I purchased the Hobo Lauren in a gorgeous cobalt blue from Zappos a couple of years ago. I loved the design of this wallet, it's functional and holds a lot of items. However, the blue dye started rubbing off about 6 months in. It's always been kept in my purse, so it's been treated gently. Now, the blue dye has rubbed off in areas on both sides, wallet looks terrible. I later heard these brilliant colors can contain lead and can be a hazard to your health. I should have returned it when the blue dye first started to wear off. I called Zappos customer service but to no avail since the 1 year return period had passed. This wallet should have lasted years and it certainly should not have raised health concerns.

I love this item for holding my driver's license and credit cards. I don't use the zip pocket much for anything...as others have stated, it's not very handy for storing receipts or currency. The only disappointment is that I've had the metro slide for only 3 months, and it's already showing wear on the corners. I have it in the Sunflower (yellow) color, so maybe it shows more in that color than it would with a darker color. The yellow has worn away to show gray underneath.

Good looking bag overall, but I must have received a defective product. The zipper for the larger internal pocket broke within a week. And the leather that sits directly under the arm folded in on itself and since the leather is the firm, waxy type, the bag now looks like a crumpled paper bag - not cute. Also note that the bottom is cut in a v-shape instead of squared-off, so the bottom sags down instead of staying squared and neat. I have several Hobo bags...but something very wrong with this one - I am returning.

I have had this style of Hobo for five years now. Maybe there is something about the quality then versus now but this wallet is my best purse friend! Other than the ink stains I have caused, it is in great shape. I love the leather quality, the wonderful fabric and the utility of the pockets, slots, coin compartment and zipper hidey slot. Hobo has sure been a great product for me.

Bought this bag several months ago & wanted to carry it awhile before commenting...love it! The size accommodates all the daily necessities and the outside pockets are great for glasses, keys and cell phone. I really love having two zippered pockets on the inside. One even fits my Kindle, which is great if you travel and want things at your finger tips. I bought the jade/blk combination and it's gone with everything this spring. I plan on getting another color for fall. Highly recommend this bag! (And of course Zappos is wonderful with their prompt delivery!)

I love the Hobo Paulette - this is my forth one. It is beautiful soft leather and the perfect size and almost weighs nothing. I have a really bad back that requires me to consult a pain management doctor ongoing. This bag is perfect for me and my back!

I had this wallet in grey a few years ago, and I loved it, but I was given a gorgeous buttery leather wallet in forest green, so I switched it out. Unfortunately, that lovely buttery wallet was stolen by ne'er-do-wells and I was forced to buy a new wallet (and new credit cards and ID and I lost my H&M gift cards, ugh crime) so I thought I'd go back to this style. I loved my other wallet, but it was the long kind and could get ridiculously heavy with club cards and stuff, so I thought this smaller size would help me consolidate. And it has! PROS, a really good size, big enough but not too big, forces me to be smart about what I keep in there, sassy contrast material, good strong magnets and clasps, smaller size means it fits in smaller purses, so I don't have to take all the important stuff and switch it all to a little pouch if I want to use a smaller purse; this is a HUGE bonus for me. CONS, the white bits are already starting to come off, which makes it look a little shabby, the money slot is really deep, which is great for security, but makes getting cash in and out a little annoying I'm really happy with this wallet and would definitely get it again, but I'd probably go back to the basic leather. This leather just isn't very resilient.

It was a little smaller than I had expected. Overall, it is a very cute bag and the colors go with everything.

I ordered this in both the jade color and the painted floral. I found the leather on the jade to not be as soft as I was expecting. It almost seemed cheap (not something I want for a $100+ wallet). Back it went. The leather on the painted floral was absolutely beautiful. Buttery soft and more what I was expecting. Nice organization. As others have noted, it will not tolerate being overstuffed, as the magnetic closure will not stay secured. Alas, I am very picky about the painted floral print and didn't care for the particular pattern placement I received. I sent this one back as well and ordered two to choose from directly from the manufacturer. I am very happy with my final choice. It is lovely, unique, soft and well organized with plenty of space for cards.

I admit I thought it seemed smaller than I had envisioned, but does fit everything. The quality is top line Hobo! Love this bag. Hobo is my favorite! Love the write up about the Designer! I have a Hobo Wallet I have been using for about 6 years...and I still get compliments on it!

I love the look and feel of Hobo leather. My two favorite features of this bag: my iPhone is accessible yet secure in the (deep) outside slip pocket, and likewise my keys are accessible yet secure when clipped to the mental rings provided in the open pocket between the two zippered compartments. Also, there are 12 credit card slots (6 in each compartment). I'm very happy with the bag.

I received my Hobo the other day and as expected the quality of the bag is very high. I love getting Hobo's because I know the bag is never going to disappoint me.
